Streamer “Disguised Toast” manages to find the funniest combos in Hearthstone once again. Some combinations with the new cards even paralyze the entire game.
When a new expansion of Hearthstone is released, the well-known streamer Disguised Toast performs at his best. He is known in the community for his outrageous combinations and brilliant plays. He is also quite good at uncovering gameplay errors and discovering hidden interactions. He has already done a lot with “Saviors of Uldum” as well. We would like to briefly present his best finds and combinations here.
A deck creates explosive excitement
In the past hours, Disguised Toast has mostly experimented with a Warrior deck alongside the already widely disliked Murloc deck .
The deck is based on not killing the opponent with direct damage but rather bringing numerous bombs into the opponent’s deck that will cause the necessary damage when drawn.
By combining the new card Bomb Master Boom, which summons 2 Boom Bots for each bomb in the opponent’s deck, the combination often makes quick work of the opponent when it works.

Funny and devastating interactions in the new addon
Already with Archmage Vargoth (which is free), Disguised Toast managed to crash Hearthstone. By executing a clever combo, he managed to bring the Archmage onto the battlefield in 6 copies and then also double their effect. He then played a deck of wonders that shuffles 5 spell cards into the deck. This effect was repeated 12 times by Archmage Vargoth.
In his next turn, he began to draw the 60 spells one after another and cast them automatically. The result was that the game no longer functioned. Hearthstone apparently could not handle so many effects. The match did not end, even though his opponent’s life points dropped to 0.
Cool interactions between characters: Blizzard frequently includes Easter eggs when certain cards meet in play. This is also the case in Saviors of Uldum. Instead of their normal voice line, the cards then come with a special quote.
- If you play the servant Khadgar while the opponent is playing a Medivh as the Mage hero, Khadgar calls out: “I have defeated you before, Master! I can do it again!”
- If Khadgar (servant) is played against Khadgar (Mage hero), the former calls out: “Fraud! I am the real Khadgar!”
- If the servant Vereesa Windrunner is used against the warrior helper Garrosh, she exclaims: “You will pay! For Rhonin!” She says this because Garrosh caused Vereesa’s husband Rhonin to die in the explosion of a mana bomb in World of Warcraft.
New bugs in Saviors of Uldum
However, not only cool interactions has Disguised Toast found, but also uncovered some clear bugs that occur only in very specific situations.
Vendetta only works with Rogues: The rogue card Vendetta should cost 0 when you have a card from another class in hand. However, that also means that any other class should always be able to play Vendetta for free. A Priest with Vendetta should not need to pay any mana, as Vendetta itself is “a card from another class.” But that is not the case. The Vendetta bonus is only triggered if you still have another foreign card in hand.
Lifesteal with Divine Shield and Long Reach Strike: If you give a servant with Poison or Lifesteal the spell “Long Reach Strike” so that it also deals damage to neighboring servants, neither Lifesteal nor Poison is applied to the neighboring servants if the original target has Divine Shield. Normal damage is still dealt. A clear bug that should be fixed promptly.
Priest Healing Error: The two priest servants Scrappy and Auchenaiseelenpriester do not interact correctly. The deathrattle effect of the Scrappy heals the opposing hero for 5 health points. The Auchenaiseelenpriester converts healing into damage. If the Auchenaiseelenpriester dies at the same time as the Scrappy, the deathrattle should heal again, as such effects are processed after death – but that does not happen. Instead, the Scrappy still deals damage.
