Things are heating up in The Division 2: Because today, on May 14, the big Title Update 3 has finally been released. It comes with a number of extensive adjustments and bug fixes, but also some new features – including the new raid.
Raid start date found: However, even though the first raid of The Division 2 is now in the game, an official start date is still pending. Even in the official patch notes, a potential date has not yet been mentioned. However, clever agents have already discovered it in the game after the latest patch.
When does the raid start? You won’t have to wait much longer. If you believe the display in the game, then the raid “Operation: Dark Hours” will open its doors this coming Thursday, May 16, at 6:00 PM our time.

With “Conspiracy of Shadows” a state was quickly established in the Hearthstone meta that brings boredom and frustration to many players. Because very few of the classes have really good decks and the most popular decks are just variations or improvements of already existing archetypes.
The best example of this is the Lackey Rogue, which currently (more or less) represents the only truly competitive rogue deck. Through a mix of new Lackey cards, powerful pirates, and old constant stars like Leeroy Jenkins, the deck is nearly unmatched.

Deadly combos with no good counters: Rogues currently have enormous burst potential, which is due to numerous good combos. A popular combination is, for example, the Waggle Pick, which deals 4 damage and returns a minion to your hand as a deathrattle that then costs 2 mana less. If you combine the Waggle Pick from the previous turn with Leeroy Jenkins, you can deal 16 damage in a single turn – for only 8 mana (2x Leeroy and one attack with the weapon). Only a few other classes have such high burst potential.
The problem, however, is that it’s not just one problem with the rogue, but several. Many cards in the rogue appear so overpowered that the problem cannot be solved by just one nerf, but adjustments need to be made at several points.
Preparation is too powerful: Another example here is Preparation. The 0-mana spell ensures that the next spell costs 3 mana less. At the same time, the spell also acts as a “combo-trigger” because it is a played card itself. A “Sprint” for 4 mana is extremely powerful.
For comparison: The Druid had the card “Innervate”, which temporarily gives the Druid 2 mana, nerfed by 50% because it was considered too strong. Preparation only works for spells, but that’s exactly why you take the card anyway. An adjustment might be necessary.
More than 25% play Rogues: This dominance is also reflected in the distribution of classes. Data from Vicious Syndicate shows that Rogues made up more than 25% of all played decks in the last update (May 7) – so more than a quarter. In a game that relies on 9 different classes, this is an alarming number.
Warriors are the boring answer to Rogues: One possible answer to the rogue deck is the Warrior, which can simply outlast games with its also (too) strong cards like “Mad Genius Dr. Boom”. With the rush effect of its minions and cards like “Brawl”, the battlefield can be cleared quickly and then simply waited out until the opponent has no cards left in their deck and dies of exhaustion. How much fun these games, which often take 30 or even 45 minutes, are is something everyone must judge for themselves.
Hunters form the third major meta deck: These Warriors, in turn, are somewhat countered by Hunters who bring back dead minions with many deathrattle effects and spells. Furthermore, they can keep up against the Warrior’s clearing mechanics and can, in rare cases, also take out a Rogue before they unleash their combos.
This also explains why Hunters with just under 20% and Warriors with around 15% are in 2nd and 3rd place of the most played classes. In comparison: Paladin, Priest, and Warlock do not reach even 5%. They are currently the least popular classes.
The current meta of Hearthstone seems not only to be stagnant but also to favor a few classes more than ever. It’s time for Blizzard to make some adjustments to ensure the variety of classes and decks once again.
Because another three months with this meta are likely to do the game no good.

And that’s why his fans love him, as he is a kind of calm center in the otherwise hectic and fast-paced world of Fortnite streamers. On Reddit, they write among other things:

The Asia MMORPG Astellia has published a new blog post about equipment. It also reveals what obstacles you must overcome to get the best equipment. Because the items in Astellia can level up, but can also decline.
How is the equipment system structured? In Astellia, you obtain equipment as drops from enemies, from dungeon chests, or through crafting. However, not every class can equip every piece of equipment and weapon.
Astellia features surprisingly few equipment slots. You can only equip six different items:

This is how you upgrade the equipment: When upgrading, the values that the equipment gives you increase. Below the maximum level of 50, there are six additional levels for each equipment, and above that even ten.
So to reach the maximum equipment in the end, you must reach level 50 yourself, wear level 50 equipment, and also upgrade this by 10 levels. However, upgrading has its pitfalls.
The randomness can destroy all progress
This is how upgrading works from level 50: Once you have reached maximum level equipment, you can enhance it by 10 levels. However, starting from upgrade level 3, there can be failures when upgrading. The materials will be consumed, but the values of the equipment will not increase.
How can equipment lose levels? Starting from level 7, it can even happen that the weapon loses upgrades on critical failures. The closer you get to upgrade level 10, the higher the chances that you will lose multiple levels during the upgrade.
This is what you need for upgrading: To upgrade equipment, you need Enhancement Stones. You get these by recycling equipment. This can be done easily through the hammer symbol in the inventory.
However, there are different stones for weapons, armors, and accessories, so you need to recycle the right equipment to be able to upgrade it.

The Rage developers id Software and Avalanche Studios are well-versed in post-apocalyptic scenarios (Doom, Quake, Mad Max). It has been 8 years since the first end-time shooting, Rage 1. How does the now-released sequel Rage 2 play? Can it bridge the wait for Borderlands 3 ?
I played the end-time spectacle for a few hours and I am quite taken with the shooter gameplay and the open world. However, story lovers will have to prepare for disappointment.
The Story of Rage 2 – Trivial yet Dead Serious
Because it is so trivial, here is the short version of the story: An asteroid impact wipes out almost all of humanity. The last survivors want to escape using Arks of Destruction. This plan goes terribly wrong. Since then, the last representatives of the species are fighting each other.
In Rage 2, you must confront the authority, an organization that has destroyed your homeland and killed loved ones. Throughout the story, you need to seek out three key figures, complete quests, and ultimately send the big boss to oblivion: he is an ugly mix of a Transformer and Mr. Data.
General Cross – the big boss
I was surprised at how seriously this superficial story takes itself. I expected to hear zany and funny dialogues like in Borderlands. Unfortunately, the conversations in Rage 2 are quite serious.
Particularly unsympathetic is the male protagonist of the story, Walker. Arrogant and self-absorbed, his voice annoys me after a short time.
Fortunately, the focus of Rage 2 is not on the story, but on the open world and gameplay. Both are quite impressive.

The shooter mechanics are convincing, the weapons have feedback and lead to sometimes absurd reactions from enemies.

This feels good and doesn’t get boring even after hours. Since you’re one of the last cyber-warriors, you can learn additional abilities like dodging or delivering a devastating melee attack that significantly increases combat dynamics.
Together with the great explosion effects, the shootouts are a highlight of Rage 2. You must constantly keep moving and use your abilities if you want to survive.
It is almost unnecessary to mention that Rage 2 is extremely brutal. Not only do barrels explode, but also your enemies, which looks quite graphic.
There are plenty of locations for battles. The expansive map features dozens of places like abandoned gas stations, bandit hideouts, or the Arks where you can discover new weapons and abilities. Various dungeons with mini-bosses at the end invite exploration.
Additionally, you can find a variety of resources with which you can upgrade weapons, vehicles, grenades, and abilities. You explore the vast map in vehicles that, unfortunately, did not knock me out of the driver’s seat.

While the vehicles have different driving behaviors and weapon arsenals, the controls are clunky and unwieldy. I generally avoided fighting against motorized villains, as it was simply not possible for me to react dynamically to the situations.
Compared to the vehicles in Borderlands, at least the three vehicles I tried played significantly clunkier. At least they are sufficient to get from A to B in Rage 2. And there are many As (and many Bs).
Rage 2 – Conclusion
Robert says: Even though the story seems trivial and the vehicle controls are particularly peculiar, the dynamic battles are quite fun and motivate longer sessions.

You will complete the campaign in about 5-10 hours, but after that, you can continue to explore the map and gather resources. However, one must clearly ask the question: For what?
While you can further optimize your equipment, I don’t see the famous carrot in front of my nose that keeps motivating me further in the base game.
Borderlands offers a lot of long-term potential with random weapons and equipment. The Rage 2 makers want to achieve this through new events, cheat codes, new vehicles, and real story expansions. Whether this will keep players engaged in the long run depends primarily on how quickly and how frequently new content is released.
Rage 2 has only a few weapons, but they can at least be upgraded
Personally, I am disappointed that Rage 2 is purely a single-player game. Especially with the vehicles, cooperative elements would have made sense. I would have enjoyed wreaking havoc in the wasteland with a friend. Here, too, Borderlands has the edge thanks to its co-op mode.
Also, there are no different classes with various abilities. However, for a casual shootout in between, Rage 2 is more than sufficient. The locations on the map are easily accessible, making the game suitable for shorter gaming sessions as well.

So far, I especially liked the shotgun, it packs a real punch. As for the story, there isn’t much to say yet. My first impression is that it will be little more than a nice thread that guides you through the shooting and the game world.
