Omar Gonzalez has been with Blizzard since 2003 and is regarded as the “father of WoW Classic“. However, he has now left the company and joined one of the studios founded by former Blizzard CEO Mike Morhaime. There are already numerous Blizzard veterans there.
What happened? Kevin Jordan was with Blizzard from 2003 to 2010 and spoke about his time at the WoW developer in a livestream on Twitch. He also mentioned Omar Gonzalez.

Who is Omar Gonzalez? Gonzalez started his career at Blizzard in 2003 as a QA analyst for Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne and World of Warcraft. Over the years he was promoted to Technical Lead for WoW.
In 2019, Ion Hazzikostas, the current Game Director of WoW, revealed in an interview that Gonzalez played an important role in the implementation of WoW Classic, which is why he is also known as the “father of WoW Classic” (via YouTube):

Will there be a new Blizzard? Shortly after the founding of Dreamhaven, Morhaime gave an interview. In it, he revealed that an environment where “sustainable creativity and innovation can be cultivated” is important. He emphasized words like passion and creativity of the developers.

Pokémon GO has officially announced Rival Week. It brings 2 new Pokémon and other exciting spawns. We show you all the details.
How long does Rival Week last? It starts on April 13 at 10:00 AM local time. The event lasts for 5 days and ends on April 18 at 8:00 PM local time.
As the name suggests, Rival Week is about Pokémon that compete against each other. During the event, there will also be 2 new Pokémon from Generation 6.

What is a Global Challenge? This involves players worldwide. In the case of Rival Week, raid battles are important. If all trainers worldwide complete a certain number of raids, then double catch Stardust will be unlocked.

Vipitis can also be shiny, so one could secure a rare shiny in Germany.
Otherwise, after the Global Challenge, there is double catch Stardust. Stardust is the most important resource in the game, so you should take advantage of the bonus.

In Destiny 2, you will soon be able to be strong and beautiful. However, the Guardians are already worried about the new transmog feature coming in Season 14. Timegating and real-money involvement are causing headaches.
Every Guardian knows the problem of often having to choose between good looks and high combat power. You find armor that looks really good, but the stats just don’t fit the build or are simply worthless.
This is what Guardians are looking forward to: When Season 14 of Destiny 2 starts in May 2021, real transmog will be integrated into the MMO shooter. This will be made possible by the return of Ada-1 to the Tower. The Exo-lady brings the “Armor Synthesis” feature along.
What is Transmog? Transmogrification (short transmog) refers to a system where armor and clothes can be visually changed. Equipment pieces can inherit the look of other earned items. Transmog is useful when the new armor is stronger or has a higher level, but doesn’t appeal to you visually. This allows players to look however they want without sacrificing the power of new items.
For transmog, you transform the look of armors into so-called universal ornaments. You then adorn your currently worn (legendary) equipment with them, giving it the identical appearance of the ornaments. The good news is that you don’t have to hoard the armors in your inventory. It is enough to have registered the look in your collection: Bungie now finally knows whether you can destroy old armors in Beyond Light.

Players should be strong and beautiful in Destiny 2, but …
This is causing headaches: Destiny-style, Guardians cannot whimsically transform armors from the collection into universal ornaments that they can then apply to their worn armor. You need a new resource for that: synthesis tokens. You receive the tokens from bounties or you pay for them with silver (real money currency).
Thus, transmog already has a bitter aftertaste for players even before its release. These 2 things are causing concern:
Timegating: Often, tasks in Destiny 2 cannot be completed all at once or are capped at a limit per week. This would mean for you that no matter how diligent you are, if Ada has only 2 bounties per week, you can only craft 2 ornaments per week. This would mean, in this example, that to create a whole armor set, you would need more than 2 weeks.
Fear of costs: Those who have no time to grind (or no desire) can reach into their pockets and shortcut their way to transmog. Guardians are now worried that Bungie will limit transmog or set the grind very high to draw silver from their wallets.
If Bungie were to rely too heavily on timegating and high costs, transmog would be ruined for many right at the start. It’s really a shame, after all, some Guardians have been waiting for this since 2014.
Keep in mind that we currently do not know how high the silver costs will be in Season 14 and how noticeable the timegating will be. By the way, once you have created an ornament, it remains permanently unlocked. The same applies to shaders, which no longer occupy a slot in the inventory and are permanently unlocked.

How it continues with Outriders after release is currently unclear. Now the developer People Can Fly has commented in an interview about possible DLCs and their scope.
From the beginning, it was planned for Outriders to come to market as a “finished” game. Now it was released on April 1. Although there are no known plans for the future, the developers have never ruled out that it could continue. Recently we reported that Outriders would receive DLCs if the loot shooter becomes a success.
What’s new? After the release, developer People Can Fly has now once again commented on the future of Outriders. For the first time, there is information on what one or more DLCs could look like.

We never said we would abandon the game [after release]. This is not a Game-as-a-Service, but if players want it, we will definitely bring more into the Outriders universe. How likely are DLCs? It is currently hard to say. On Steam, Outriders is a huge success. For example, the release of Marvel’s Avengers was three times overprinted, with over 100,000 concurrent players in Outriders, while it was only 28,000 for Avengers. (via Forbes)
What else was said? In the interview, among other already known things, it was about insights from the demo, the numerous loading screens, and a possible increase in the level cap. Here’s the summary:
They were surprised at how much time people spent with the demo. They would have expected that activities in the full game would be repeated so often, but not already in the small demo version where only one chapter was playable.
Kmita justifies the many loading screens by stating that they wanted to prevent players from spreading too far across the maps. They want Outriders to be played together. The cutscenes were added for technical reasons.
It is still unclear whether there could be an increase in the level cap similar to Borderlands. However, they are considering it.

The vampire MMO Shadow’s Kiss has been in development for over four years. Now there is a sign of life that gives hope. The developers said that the game is set to release on Steam in the summer of 2021, if all goes well.
What kind of MMO is this? Shadow’s Kiss made headlines over four years ago, when it entered pre-alpha in December 2016. The MMO is inspired by the famous World of Darkness, from which the “Vampire” role-playing games also originate.
The developers behind Shadow’s Kiss are Clockwork Throne, an indie studio from Texas. The MMO was initially financed mainly through Kickstarter, where Shadow’s Kiss was very successful. Currently, the developers are mainly relying on Patreon, but still need support from fans.

When and where will it be released? The alpha of the MMO started in July 2019. In a new post on Facebook, the developers wrote that Shadow’s Kiss is set to release on Steam for PC in the summer of 2021 – if all goes well.
They want to send a first build for review, and if it is accepted, the MMO could be released as early as July. The development has been delayed due to updates that are now temporarily being halted in favor of the launch and because of a problem with the patcher.

Four years of development for vampires and eroticism
In Shadow’s Kiss, you can play your vampire in different roles. You have five paths available, which resemble character classes a bit:

Lords or Ladies of the Night, noble vampires from the path of the “true” vampires
Lilin, succubi, and incubi from the demonic path

Your evolution as a vampire apparently takes a little longer.
Sexuality also plays a role in Shadow’s Kiss. Even during character creation, you can set your gender, your motivation, and your sexual orientation. Your interest in other (or the same) genders is supposed to be important in social interactions and quests.

This is how the year 2021 went for Schalke: They met expectations in LoL, even exceeded them slightly. For Schalke, the year and the playoffs went better than expected. The Skills of the Devastator Build
