On Pokémon GO, on Day 2 of the GO Fest 2021, there are two new research tasks for you (Strange Rings). They offer you 8 Remote Raid Passes, strong items, and plenty of XP. We will show you the tasks and rewards.
What is happening in Pokémon GO? Today, on July 18, we are on the second day of the GO Fest 2021. Today’s focus is on raids with legendary Pokémon. The developers are bringing all Legendary Pokémon that have previously been available in the game into raids.
To ensure you can participate in many of these raids, earn items for them, and gain a lot of XP, there are two new research tasks for you.
A special research task with 2 chapters
A time-limited research task with 8 chapters that will repeat
This is how you earn 8 Remote Raid Passes today + 3 additional ones

Survival games are known for their appeal and the thrill that anything and anyone can kill you. But sometimes you just want to enjoy the game. MeinMMO presents 7 titles in the genre where you can play peacefully.
What does “peaceful” mean here? The struggle for survival is at the core of every survival game – this excitement is what makes the genre. So you won’t find purely pacifistic games like Harvest Moon or Animal Crossing here, but you will have to fight from time to time.
However, we mark how intense the survival and combat aspect is in each game. When selecting, we made sure to present games where fighting against other players plays no role or is not even possible.
It is important that other players cannot destroy anything or “grief” you in any of the games. In the peaceful survival games shown here, the focus is on taking your time and exploring everything at your own pace.
[toc]
What kind of games can I find here? We have selected a range of survival games, including both single-player and co-op titles for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. The only important thing is that they can do without PvP and do not force you to defend yourself against other players.
What you won’t find here is a top list of the best games, but a selection of recommended games based on the author’s personal assessment. If you’re instead looking for a larger selection, you can find the 25 best survival games of 2021 for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC here on MeinMMO.
About the author: Benedict has been working at MeinMMO since the end of 2017 and is our survival expert. His first contact with the genre was with Stranded (2003), which fascinated him completely. Survival has been in his blood for more than half his life.
His most played modern survival titles include Fallout 76 and Conan Exiles, in which he has probably invested around 600 hours together. He also enjoys trying out new titles and indie games in the genre to look for hidden gems and insider tips. He especially values a beautiful environment where exploration is rewarding and a refined crafting system.
1. Raft
Developer: Redbeet Interactive | Platform: PC | Release: May 23, 2018 | Players: Solo or Co-op | Combat/Action: low to medium
What is Raft? In Raft, you play alone or with friends on a raft of the same name. Instead of building a base and exploring the world from there, you explore the world with your base.
You continually expand the raft with debris you fish from the sea or with resources you find while diving or on islands. Your most important tool is a hook on a rope, which you cast out to pull floating objects to you.
Your raft becomes larger and over time turns into a real floating city with houses, crafting stations, and even gardens. The comic style and bright environment give the whole game a friendly, playful atmosphere.
How peaceful is Raft? Raft does not put you under pressure in combat, but the story can become quite dangerous. During the story quests, you encounter mysterious places that tell a story and might occasionally unleash a bear on you. A hungry shark is also a threat to your raft – but not one that constantly puts you under pressure.
Exploration and the collective building of your raft are clearly in the foreground. The story islands also tell a great story about life on the vast, endless sea.

How hard is survival? Even though Raft mainly focuses on exploration, you must pay attention to food and water, which are not always easy to come by due to your situation on a raft. When you die, what happens depends on the difficulty:
Peaceful/Easy: You respawn without penalties.
Normal: Respawn and lose your items or get revived by friends.
Hard Mode: Friends must pick you up and carry you to a bed.
Developer: Unknown Worlds | Platform: PC, Mac, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch | Release: January 23, 2018 | Players: Single player | Combat/Action: low
What is Subnautica? After a crash landing on an alien ocean planet, you must somehow survive in the completely alien environment. The goal is to get everything running again and escape the planet.
In the process, you explore the underwater areas and with the “Below Zero” DLC even frozen lakes and ice biomes in search of resources. You will encounter unknown and alien creatures in the picturesque world on your journeys.
How peaceful is Subnautica? Basically, you don’t have to fight in Subnautica. You will occasionally encounter more dangerous deep-sea inhabitants, but you generally flee from them rather than confront them.
Subnautica focuses fully on the beautiful world and detailed backdrop – so much so that it is now known for its environments and considered one of the most beautiful games ever.

How hard is survival? Especially at the beginning, it can be a bit challenging to get used to the mechanics and build the right tools for underwater exploration. However, you will quickly come across necessary resources. Just always watch your oxygen – that is the most important thing for survival in Subnautica.
3. Stranded Deep
Developer: Beam Team | Platform: PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S | Release: January 23, 2015 | Players: Solo or Co-op in split-screen (PC only) | Combat/Action: low to medium
What is Stranded Deep? Your plane crashes and you find yourself alone on a deserted island in the Pacific – the classic “Robinson Crusoe” experience in modern guise. This is exactly the story that Stranded Deep is based on.
You must find your way on the island, find water and food, and somehow survive with whatever you have on hand. Vehicles and skills are also available.
Build yourself a small house in the middle of the ocean and make the best of what you have – who wouldn’t want an island in the middle of the Pacific all to themselves?
How peaceful is Stranded Deep? You will primarily be busy chopping down palm trees, sipping coconuts, and building tools and huts from found wood and stone. Still, the island is dangerous.
You will eventually have to hunt to survive, and as you venture deeper into the island or the sea, predators wait there that want to harm you. The further you go, the more you will have to fight.
There are even boss fights in Stranded Deep, so you will have to fight for one of the core features. While you could also just drift along, you would likely miss an important part of the game.

How hard is survival? In addition to hunger, thirst, and health, you also have to pay attention to overheating in Stranded Deep. Since an island in the Pacific isn’t equipped with air conditioning, sunburn is a real danger. So survival is already a challenge – but also the core of the game.
Developer: eduweb | Platform: PC (Steam) | Release: July 26, 2019 | Players: Solo or Co-op | Combat/Action: low to medium
What is Wolf Quest? In Wolf Quest, as the name suggests, you play as a wolf in Yellowstone National Park – either alone, in public games, or privately with friends. You start as a young gray wolf, exploring the world, maturing, and eventually founding your own pack.
Throughout your life, you constantly improve your hunting skills and find new friends and even mates for breeding. And yes, there are cute little wolf pups frolicking around you.
How peaceful is Wolf Quest? The game mainly revolves around exploring the natural environment and serves to get to know the wildlife of wolves. However, this natural life also includes hunting.
Consequently, as a wolf, you rely on hunting and killing prey, as it is your main food source. At the same time, you must contend with other predators like bears and cougars and be careful not to get torn apart in the territories of other packs.

The trailer for Wolf Quest – Featuring: The Amethyst Mountain.
How hard is survival? Wolf Quest uses a realistic model, which makes it difficult to assess how hard survival really is. The law of the stronger applies: The superior wins the fight. A mistake can mean your death.
If you want a particularly tough challenge, you can play in “Iron Wolf” mode: as soon as you die, the game is over.

The mid-season update of Call of Duty: Warzone brought a plethora of changes to weapons. Many important weapons have been nerfed and the average time-to-kill has increased significantly. MeinMMO shows you 3 weapons that you can’t go wrong with shortly after the update.
Mid-Season 4 has significantly disrupted the weapon meta of Call of Duty: Warzone. Many nerfs, a few buffs, changes in recoil – over 40 weapons have been adjusted and many have new base values for damage.
Which weapons will prevail with this new meta remains to be seen. However, initial analyses show trends, and MeinMMO presents 3 weapons that are definitely strong enough to be part of the new meta in Warzone. In the list, you’ll find the assault rifle Krig 6, the MP5 from CoD MW, and the LMG RPD – all with verified setups.
Assault Rifle: Krig 6 – If you don’t want to miss the shots
What makes the Krig 6 strong? The assault rifle was already a strong choice before the update. With the numerous nerfs to high-range automatic weapons, the Krig has moved even further forward. It even received a slight buff and now inflicts more damage at range. However, the true strength of the Krig lies not in its damage potential but in its handling. This thing is incredibly stable and allows you to easily land hits.
Warzone Krig 6 Setup
Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
Barrel: 15″ CMV, Military
Optic: Axial Arms 3x
Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
Ammunition: STANAG 60-Round
Submachine Gun: MP5 from CoD MW – Passed the update unscathed
What makes the MP5 from CoD MW strong? Like the Krig, the MP5 from CoD MW has always been a strong choice in Warzone. However, due to engaged competitors like the MP5 from Cold War and the MAC-10, the MP5 from CoD MW has flown somewhat under the radar. With nerfs to the strong competitors, the release MP from Modern Warfare is back on top, offering you a strong time-to-kill of nearly 500 milliseconds up to 10 meters and is very controllable.
Warzone MP5 from CoD MW Setup
Barrel: Monolithic Suppressor (integrated)
Laser: 5mW Laser
Stock: FTAC Foldable
Underbarrel: Merc Foregrip
Ammunition: 45-Round Mag
Light Machine Guns: RPD – Forgets recoil after a few shots
What makes the RPD strong? If you are a fan of LMGs, now could be the hour of the RPD. The popular Stoner 63 has suffered a bit in the update, and the RPD is asserting itself due to its strong handling. The time-to-kill is decent, although affected by an open-bolt delay. The special feature of the RPD is its light recoil – once you fire a few rounds from the barrel, the weapon hardly recoils anymore. If you stay in sustained fire, enemies at very long distances are also not a problem.
Most of the important automatic weapons are weaker with Mid-Season 4, but no firearm has been “broken patched”. You can still rely on the FARA, clean up with the C58, or bring back old classics from CoD MW.
Which weapons, however, will settle at the top of the tier lists remains to be seen. We will keep you updated on MeinMMO and will adjust our list with the best weapons in Warzone accordingly.

A particularly ambitious player wanted to add a bit more realism to his favorite tank in War Thunder. However, he did so in a questionable manner: by showing official military documents. This could lead to up to 14 years in prison.
What happened?
War Thunder is known for its realistic depiction of military vehicles such as tanks and airplanes – The British Challenger 2 is one of these tanks.
One player seemed to find that lacking and submitted suggestions for improvement.
He supported these suggestions with official documents from the British military, which he claimed were declassified.
The Defense Minister stated that the information shown is still classified, and dissemination could lead to up to 14 years in prison.
What kind of documents are they? In the official War Thunder forum, a player named “Tidworth” leaked documents from a sort of user manual of the British military. According to his own statements, he is a tank commander in Tidworth, the base of the Royal Tank Regiment, where the Challenger 2s are stationed.
There were supposed to be images showing what the Challenger 2 looks like, with technical specifications and more. Most of the document is said to have been redacted or deleted.
It also supposedly had a “Declassified” stamp. The label “UK Restricted” was reportedly crossed out. This was also reported by the British United Kingdom Defense Journal (via ukdefencejournal.org.uk).
Some users in the forum said that nothing could be seen on the cover page except for the name “Challenger 2”.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ve0JnYqHybs
This is what the Challenger 2 looks like in action in War Thunder.
Player leaks documents, dissemination could lead to prison
Why did the player do that? Allegedly, the Challenger 2 in War Thunder is not realistic enough. To make his point clear, the user supposedly uploaded the images from the military documents.
Apparently, he wanted to show what improvements needed to be made to the tank model in the game and why. He seems to be a very passionate player who desperately wanted to see his favorite tank as authentically as possible.
Moderators in the forum promptly deleted the posts and noted that they need information about their source – and that they are actually publicly available. Because apparently, they were not.
What penalties are threatened? A moderator reports that they have spoken with the British Defense Minister (via forum.warthunder.com). According to him, the documents are still classified, and he does not recognize the markings for declassification.
Typically, the dissemination of such documents leads to prosecution, and there can be penalties of up to 14 years in prison for it. The moderators therefore urge not to upload such documents again. Whether “Tidworth” will face legal consequences is still uncertain.
Apparently, War Thunder frequently has issues with players showing classified material, as there has supposedly already been a “last time”. This is probably the fate of realistic simulations.
However, not all Guardians have such a sense of humor. Many really complain, even if things are being moved by the update that could just as well be done 15 minutes later, without any disadvantages:
I was just about to get the Splicer title. I’m 10 decrypted data away from my first title with the last upgrade for gloves. And now this? I’m really upset
In the German-speaking area, these patches usually hit in the evening and take down the servers between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Maintenance often takes longer. When everything runs smoothly again from 11 PM, we go to bed annoyed and have to postpone our planned outing as Guardians to another time.
When does the horror come? Traditionally, Tuesday, the weekly reset day, is ruined. But Thursdays and, if it really nasty shows up on Fridays, are also often sabotaged by Bungie’s sneaky update orgies.
When it’s 7:00 PM for us, it’s 10:00 AM for the developers at Bungie near Seattle. They have just finished their first coffee and have nothing better to do than mess with Europeans across the ocean – typical Americans.
On MeinMMO, the Titan warns readers about updates
That’s why it’s always inappropriate: But you can hardly believe it, the updates annoy not only us Europeans. Even in the land of freedom, the patches rob you of the freedom to play Destiny when you want. Guardians all over the globe complain that they were kicked from the game at the most inappropriate moments by the update.
You were in the raid, almost had your Vex Mythoclast? Update!
Just on a 5 win streak in competitive PvP? Update!
According to insider reports, even Guardians who are just chilling in the Tower and give Bungie no reason to kick them are affected. Still: Update!
With updates in Destiny 2, it’s like with wizards in “The Lord of the Rings”… only reversed: An update always comes too late, Guardian, as well as always too early. It hits exactly when no one wants it. (The original Gandalf quote from the movie can be found here on Kino.de)
Let’s get down to business
Of course, I write this with a wink and know that gaming time is scarce and how frustrating a patch can be at the wrong moment.
When you finally manage to gather the whole crew for a raid, planning for days, and then bam, such an update comes and ruins your plans. Even if the maintenance itself is only short, the wisdom applies to many: never play on patch day. Because no one wants continuous messages like “contact Destiny servers” and error code “Weasel”.
Sometimes it’s not so easy to gather the whole crew
The initial frustration is understandable. But you can never please everyone. Even if we often feel attacked during our prime time, the updates are always inconvenient for all Guardians worldwide. One must also consider that Bungie needs someone to oversee the maintenance. That cannot happen at times when the devs are sleeping at headquarters.
Have you ever been surprised by a patch at the worst possible moment? What achievement was ruined for you? What is your general opinion on Bungie’s update policy? Would you prefer to receive only major updates 1-2 times per season, or should even the smallest things be fixed quickly and you take maintenance times more often? Let us know in the comments.
But wait, other Guardians are hit even harder by the updates. Those who thought working 2,000 hours a minute and still finding time for Destiny was crazy should take a look at time mage Deroni76:
The diligent Guardian has 17 jobs and only 2.7 seconds a week to play Destiny. Although he is only a father of 8 children, he is a single parent. Such dedication also impresses our first Guardian, Jale Stevenson, who now takes him as a role model. That was just a snippet, but that’s how it is lately with every update article. Thanks for that.

Such dead serious comments really sweeten the update articles for me. And it’s not just me laughing, because such posts regularly get the most upvotes.

Such dead serious comments really sweeten the update articles for me. And it’s not just me laughing, because such posts regularly get the most upvotes.
This is how Guardians react: It gets really funny when other users take it for face value. One might read in response that Bungie announced the update, and the 14-time father should calm down. When Jale Stevenson then ironically says that Bungie should orient itself to his personal life, this meets with incomprehension.

Destiny 2 regularly frustrates players with its updates. Our MeinMMO author Philipp Hansen finds it amusing when a 14-time father works 2,000 hours a minute and in just 2.7 seconds of gaming, a patch ruins everything. You can read about what’s so funny in this very serious opinion.
Guardians hate updates: Destiny 2 is a live-service game and is regularly supplied with content and updates. Well, new content doesn’t arrive as regularly as the smaller patches that come in about 1-2 times a month. When such an update arrives, it always comes at an inconvenient time – that’s a given.
It’s especially annoying when the update only fixes 3 tiny things that personally don’t bother you at all. Yes, you, Hotfix 3.2.1.1 from July 15 should feel addressed. But updates are much meaner than you think.
That’s why update articles are the funniest articles for me
To avoid getting surprised too much by the updates and taking a critical hit from behind, we at MeinMMO always accompany patch days with an article that lists all times and changes, and we update the whole thing multiple times. Recently, these have been the funniest articles for me to write.
That makes me laugh: It’s part of my job to click through Bungie’s Twitter posts – you don’t want to miss an extended server maintenance. The comments there make me tear up from laughter:

The Guardian Jale Stevenson writes dead serious: “I’m so fed up with this game. I was about to finish a solo flawless raid run and was just about to take down Atheon when I got kicked. Bungie, I have 14 kids and work 2,000 hours a minute. That was my only free time. Dead game.”
Jalen Stevenson is, of course, poking fun at all the comments that usually accumulate under such an update post on Twitter:
Destiny 2 is dead, why update?
You can’t play Destiny 2 when you want (the dead Destiny 2, mind you).
I was about to complete the wildest achievement of my Guardian life when the servers went down.
I’m really busy, have little time, and the update comes with deadly precision right when I have a free minute.

Demon Hunters often experience a disconnect in World of Warcraft. There is a reason for this, and it is likely due to an anti-cheat protection.
It’s quite normal for MMORPGs as large as World of Warcraft to have bugs. However, it becomes frustrating when the errors restrict gameplay so severely that players are repeatedly thrown out of the game. Demon Hunters can sing a song about this – especially since they should preferably avoid using flight paths?
What is the problem? Demon Hunters are currently plagued by a disconnect bug. While this is nothing unusual for Demon Hunters, it has become particularly severe since Patch 9.1 Chains of Domination. Whenever they use a flight path in Shadowlands and land somewhere, there is a high probability that the player will immediately experience a disconnect and be disconnected from the game.
The absurd part: Even if one stands afk at the flight point for a few minutes after the flight ends, a disconnect can be triggered as soon as they move.
What causes this? Apparently, there is a system in place that is supposed to detect cheaters and speedhack users. When WoW registers that a character is moving faster than should be possible in the current state, the system kicks in and disconnects the player from the game.
Demon Hunters suffer from disconnects – a feature of the hero class.
Many who have teleport abilities, such as a Mage’s Blink or Night Fae form, have likely experienced something very similar. When one “unluckily” teleports with these abilities, WoW registers it as if the character is in a location that should actually be inaccessible – which also results in a disconnect. In particularly severe cases, players might even have to use a support function to reset their character to a “safe” location.
Is there a workaround? Yes, at least in many cases. To avoid disconnecting after landing, it can be beneficial to mount up before moving. In this case, it seems WoW “updates” the allowed movement speed, and then does not trigger a disconnect.
This, of course, isn’t possible if the flight point is in a location where mounts are not allowed – such as in the Bastion of the Venthyr. There, for now, it seems one must just endure the disconnect gritting their teeth.
More news about World of Warcraft can be found here:
Many are affected, but hardly anyone knew it: It only became clear that many Demon Hunters were suffering from this issue when it was raised in the WoW subreddit. Most thought they were individual cases or that something was wrong with their WoW client.
Thai360 comments:
Damn, and I was wondering why this only happens to me. Good to know it’s just Blizzard doing Blizzard things.
Smojar presents a similar solution to the problem:
This also happened to me on my Demon Hunter, and I think it’s related to being on a mount while clicking a teleport or flight point. I’ve gotten into the habit of always dismounting before I fly, and since then I haven’t had any disconnects. I’m not 100% sure that’s the reason, but it’s fixed it for me.
Sickoe00 explains the situation for the Venthyr:
Landing in the Sinfall is a guaranteed disconnect.
Have you also suffered from this bug? Or do “real classes” that you play have no issues with it?
In Pokémon GO the task “Take a snapshot” is currently causing problems at GO Fest 2021. But Niantic shows the solution if the task is not credited after the photo.
What is it about? As part of the special research with Meloetta, you should solve various tasks, including the task “Take a snapshot”. However, this quest is simply not recognized as “completed” by some trainers. The reason is that it does not work when catching new Pokémon.
This is the solution: Niantic’s support explains on Twitter that this task can be completed by taking a snapshot of a Pokémon that is already in your collection (via Twitter.com). So it does not work during an encounter with a wild Pokémon that you still need to catch.
Where does the confusion come from?
Until now: The task of taking a snapshot in Pokémon GO is not new. On the contrary, it has been part of some past researches. It was always the case that you only received credit for the snapshot if you took it of a Pokémon that you had already caught.
That was probably the problem: On Twitter, user SpacePokémonDevon asks under Niantic’s explanation (via Twitter.com): “I … I thought people would know that by now?” However, the responses to the tweet show where the confusion of some trainers comes from and why Niantic clearly explained how to complete the task.
In the past weeks, there have been tasks at events in Pokémon GO that required taking snapshots of wild Pokémon. The change of the task from “wild Pokémon” to “Pokémon” seems to have been a trigger of the confusion.
However, some players explain on Twitter that they still have problems with the snapshot task “Take a snapshot” and cannot explain what the issue is. As soon as there is a response from Niantic, we will update the article for you.
Find out about more problems and solutions, changes, and announcements from Niantic in our live ticker for GO Fest 2021 in Pokémon GO. We will keep you updated throughout the event and beyond, showing you which bonuses are active next and which content you should definitely keep an eye on.

Valve has presented its own console, the Steam Deck. After pre-orders started, even Steam’s servers, which are usually quite stable, could not hold up. Apparently, the console is already more popular than expected, even though it might not come until next year.
This is the situation:
Valve recently introduced the Steam Deck, a new handheld console.
Pre-orders have been open since Friday, July 16, at 19:00 CEST.
So many gamers wanted to pre-order the console that Steam could not process the requests and threw out numerous error messages.
What kind of console is this? The Steam Deck is a handheld console that represents something like a portable PC. At 720p, you should be able to play games that natively run on Linux or can be run there via “Proton”.
Some players refer to the Steam Deck as the “real” Nintendo Switch Pro. In terms of design, the new console indeed resembles the Switch. You have a display in the middle with controls on the right and left.
The delivery is expected to begin in December 2021, and orders should be possible from the first quarter of 2022. Pre-orders or reservations are now already possible. In our hub, you will find all important information about the Steam Deck summarized.
This is what the new console looks like.
Reservations overwhelm Steam servers
What happened? After the pre-orders opened on July 16 at 19:00, many players apparently tried to secure a copy. This led to numerous error messages (via Polygon.com).
Both the official Steam website and the app had potential buyers facing issues completing their orders. Often, an “unexpected error” occurred, which prevented the purchase from being finalized.
Those who tried too often were even met with an error message, stating that they had “attempted too many purchases in the last few hours” and should please wait a bit. Particularly bizarre is an error message stating that some users had too young an account, even though they claimed to have been on Steam for well over 15 years:

In other cases, there were errors indicating that the order may have “succeeded” (via Twitter.com). In these cases, buyers were left in the dark about whether they had actually managed to purchase a Steam Deck or not. Sometimes, there was also just a vague: “Something went wrong”.
What is the current situation? As of Saturday, July 17 at 15:00, the servers are still “busy”. Pre-ordering is currently not possible (via steampowered.com). We cannot say if and when you can pre-order a Steam Deck again.
Update: Occasionally, it seems to work. Around 15:15, we were able to place a reservation. If you want to pre-order a Steam Deck, you should just try your luck several times.
Steam is not known for weak servers. Nevertheless, they were overwhelmed by the requests. The price of the Steam Deck has not deterred buyers either: a standard version costs €419, while the most expensive variant is priced at €679.
Valve CEO Gabe Newell calls the price “painful”, but the performance and hardware have been the focus from the beginning. The Steam Deck is apparently intended to establish itself in the long term. How long it will hold up remains to be seen, as Newell already has the future of hardware in mind:
In a new blog post, the developers of Fallout 76 promised a “significant new feature” for the upcoming update. They haven’t revealed exactly what it will be yet, but there are already hints.
What new feature is coming? In the latest “Inside the Vault”, the developers talk about the future of Fallout 76 (via Bethesda.net). There are two limited-time events and also a mysterious message.
For the next major update, the devs are planning a “significant new feature” but do not disclose what it is. We at MeinMMO suspect: it will be private worlds for everyone, at no additional cost.
How likely is that? The blog post states that the feature allows players to experience Fallout 76 “in even more diverse ways” and that the “next major update” is aimed for September. This update would be the Fall Update “Worlds Are Changing”. The roadmap for Fallout 76 has two major features planned for the update:
the “next level of private worlds”
expansion for daily operations
Since the release of Fallout 76, players have been asking to play in private worlds. Other survival games often offer such services through dedicated servers that can be rented from third parties.
The Fall Update is expected to bring “the next level of private worlds”.
As Fallout 76 now has plenty of NPCs with their own stories and even factions for you to work for, the MMO increasingly resembles the classic Fallout games. This also suggests that single-player fans could be re-engaged with solo worlds.
Private Worlds for Everyone? Roadmap Indicates This
What else is possible? The NPCs in the game are another point of consideration for a new feature. Traditionally, Fallout games have factions for which you can complete quests – or that you can eliminate as a player.
The choices have an impact on the story and the ending; in some cases, two factions even exclude each other, so player experiences can differ significantly.
On the Fallout 76 reddit, little discussion is happening about the potential feature. A few players joke that it will be new skins for rarely used weapons (via reddit.com). However, players are currently much more concerned about fixing issues like server lags, crashes, and exploits.
When will there be more information? Soon, more details will be explained regarding what new feature is being announced. You will also have the opportunity to play the feature on the test server in advance and provide feedback.
Korthite crystals are important for legendary items in World of Warcraft. We will explain how you can farm them best.
Sooner or later, all current players of World of Warcraft will face Korthite crystals. Some of them are just sitting in the inventory, while others are panicking to find them in order to upgrade their legendary items. We will show you how to quickly gather a lot of Korthite crystals and what they are actually for.
What are Korthite crystals? A new resource that is of interest to anyone who wants to upgrade their legendary items to rank 5 or 6. Korthite crystals (Korthite Crystal) can be obtained in many different ways when playing new content from patch 9.1. A total of 40 are needed for a single upgrade – so farming can take a while. Therefore, it is worthwhile to exhaust as many sources of crystals as possible.
Where can you find Korthite crystals?
There are numerous ways to obtain Korthite crystals. We will present the most important ones here.
Daily Quests: In Korthia, you are offered 3-5 daily quests every day. Some of them can reward Korthite crystals, 1-2 depending on the quest. However, that depends on chance. The rewards can even differ from character to character. Your main character might receive a quest that rewards Anima, while a second character might receive Korthite crystals as a reward.
Treasures in Korthia: Korthia is full of treasures, and many of them respawn every day. Especially chests of the Mawbound, bone piles, and relic chests can be looted every day and have a low chance of containing Korthite crystals.
Mushrooms and nests can also be looted every day, but do not contain Korthite crystals.
The little Gromit can help a lot – in case you often overlook something.
A tip: Not all treasures in Korthia will be shown on your minimap. Often, there are bone piles, relic chests, and other small treasures that you actually have to “see” to find them. The item “Trained Gromit Carrier” helps with this – it summons a little Gromit that points you to treasures and shows you exactly where to find them. This way, you won’t miss anything anymore. You can buy the Gromit early from Archivist Roh-Suir in the Korthia camp.
Chests in the Rift: In addition to the “normal” chests and treasures you can find in Korthia, there is another dimensional layer – the Rift. Every day, 4 chests appear in changing locations that you can loot. They contain Stygia, relics for the archivist, sometimes transmog, and with an increased chance, Korthite crystals.
In the Rift, there are 4 chests every day – but the positions change. You will see them on the minimap when you are nearby.
Whether a chest contains a crystal seems to be random. However, the chance is certainly increased there, as multiple players report having drawn a crystal from each of the four chests. Additionally, the chests can also contain the quest starter item “Supplies of the Deathwing Assault” each week. The quest can additionally reward 0-2 crystals upon turn-in!
You can reliably access the Rift once you have reached reputation level 4 with the Archivist. Then you can buy unlimited access to the Rift and always search for treasures there whenever you feel like it.
The chests will be shown on your minimap when you are nearby. An addon like “Handy Notes” with the Shadowlands add-on can help to see possible spawn points for the chests in advance.
Attack in the Maw: Every 3-4 days (always on Saturdays and Wednesdays), the faction that is attacking the Maw changes. This almost always corresponds with four quests and a “meta-quest” that continues once you have completed the other four missions. At the end, a chest from the respective faction rewards you with a Korthite crystal. Thus, you can obtain up to 2 crystals per week from this source.
Even more crystals via Twinks: Korthite crystals have a big advantage – they are not soulbound. This means you can also gather the coveted crystals with second and third characters. You can then send the crystals to your main character and thus reach the required 40 Korthite crystals faster. Here, having multiple high-level characters is actually worthwhile.
More guides, tips, and tricks for WoW on MeinMMO can be found here:
Farming takes too much time and the crystals are too expensive! In that case, there’s probably only one thing to do: wait. The price of Korthite crystals will surely decrease in the coming weeks and months as most players upgrade their legendary items. Through weekly attacks in the Maw and the weekly on Korthia, Korthite crystals should always flow in abundance, so more and more of them will flood the auction house in the future.
Have you gathered your 40 Korthite crystals yet? Or are you selling them diligently in the auction house and making a fortune?

Some players in Dead by Daylight have more luck than sense. But you probably won’t experience such a situation ever again.
At its core, the asymmetrical game Dead by Daylight is quite tactical, relying on the skills of individual players. However, there are indeed several factors that depend on luck or chance. A clip now shows how outrageously lucky one can be in the Dead by Daylight subreddit.
What happened? QueenLivCat played as Jane against the Cannibal in Dead by Daylight, and the round was going anything but well. One survivor had already left the game due to a disconnect, another had died on the hook, while the last team member was also in the final seconds of the sacrifice phase. QueenLivCat was already on the ground, facing her fate of dying as well.
Since only 2 out of 5 generators were repaired, it can be said that the round was rather unfavorable for the survivors.
However, QueenLivCat doesn’t give up and does the only thing she can: She tries to free herself from the hook and succeeds immediately. Better yet, at the moment of self-rescue, the hatch appears right beneath Jane, allowing her to escape with a click. No chance for the killer.

What does this have to do with luck? That QueenLivCat’s endeavor works is quite unlikely and requires a strong chain of luck, chance, and a little “mistake” from the killer. Because:
Freeing yourself from the hook has only a 4% chance of success. In most cases, you fail and lose only a part of your health bar.
The hatch can appear in several dozen positions on the map. Standing directly above it is virtually impossible.
The fact that QueenLivCat was even allowed to try to free herself from the hook is due to the remaining survivor being in the death animation of the hook at that moment. If the person had already been fully sacrificed, there would have been no rescue attempts – the killer would only have had to wait a few seconds.

Community reacts enthusiastically: Accordingly, the community in the Dead by Daylight subreddit is also enthusiastically celebrating this clip. Comments include:
“The thought that in hundreds of millions of matches in this game, this exact scenario has probably happened less than 1000 times is quite impressive.”
“I would be very sad if I were the killer.”
“You’ve used up all your remaining luck for 2021.”
“The game was trying to make you angry by spawning the hatch right under you, but it couldn’t have foreseen that your luck is ‘over 9000’.”
Have you ever had this much luck skill in Dead by Daylight? Or are these legendary moments that only other players have?

The developers of Call of Duty: Warzone have introduced a new feature into the game with a secret change: Pre-Match Loadouts. However, this feature also brought along a serious bug, leading to the loadouts being removed the same day.
What kind of ability is this? It concerns “Dead Silence,” one of the best, if not the best field upgrade in Warzone. Dead Silence conceals the noises you make while walking and even sprinting.
Opponents can no longer hear you, making it almost impossible to notice you. This way, you can easily rack up kills or even secure victories.
How did the bug enter the game? The error was introduced through a secret feature called Pre-Match Loadouts. These were implemented without announcement and allowed you to adjust and set loadouts already in the lobby. With loadouts, you can select the best weapons in the game directly in Battle Royale and equip them without having to find them on the ground.
However, the feature led to a series of problems, including players starting a match directly with a loadout (via Eurogamer.net) or experiencing endless Dead Silence (via reddit.com). Thus, Raven Software disabled the feature the same day:

What were the loadouts even good for? The idea behind Pre-Match Loadouts was quite good. You should be able to set which weapons and equipment you want to play with before a round in Battle Royale.
The configured loadout will then be automatically selected when you find a loadout drop in Warzone. This saves you valuable seconds that could secure you a victory in a heated battle.
The developers announced that the feature will return to the game at a later date. However, there is no exact time for it yet.
Campers are annoying, but at least (mostly) honest players. Those often annoyed by cheaters should be especially pleased with a second change that took place behind the scenes – as the developers managed to strike against cheaters:
The wireless mode therefore seems a bit useless for MMO players, and even with good headphones, you should stick to wired mode. If you use other sound sources or connections, then the wireless mode can be used more often.
On PC, the wireless mode only works with third-party programs, and on PS5, it hardly works at all – there is significant latency in transmission. Overall, I could hardly use the wireless mode, and thus, I had no advantages from the higher battery life.
The lack of the LED bar between the triggers could be a problem for some PSVR players. The illuminated area is used to track the position of the controller using the camera.

Conclusion: A good alternative with back paddles if you play on PC and PS4
Who is the FUSION Pro Wireless for PS4 worth it for? If you’re looking for a high-quality PS4 controller with back paddles and PC support, you should keep the FUSION Pro Wireless for PS4 on your radar.
Even players with small hands looking for a controller with back paddles will find a good solution here.
The FUSION Pro Wireless for PS4 is particularly strong in wired mode. The use on PC, PS4, and PS5 goes smoothly, and since you can easily detach the paddle module, the extra buttons don’t interfere with games that don’t require paddles.
If you’re looking for a “real” wireless controller that works well without a cable, the FUSION Pro Wireless for PS4 struggles. On PS4, the jack headset does not work, and PC and PS5 are not supported.
Comfortable and high-quality, but not really wireless: the FUSION Pro for PS4.
What are the alternatives? The regular PS4 controller remains a good choice and can now be equipped with a paddle module. The part costs around €30, and together with a controller, you’re looking at around €95. However, the module only adds 2 new buttons.
A similarly high-quality wireless controller can be found with the Razer Raiju Tournament Edition. The controller from Razer offers 4 programmable extra buttons and interchangeable controller parts. Some functions can also be controlled via an app. The Raiju in the Tournament Edition is available for about €100, but the overall range of functions is less than that of the FUSION Pro Wireless for PS4.

Another strong competitor is the “SCUF IMPACT Custom Controller” from accessory manufacturer SCUF. In the basic version, you get the controller with all important PS4 features and 4 back paddles for €159.99 (via scufgaming.com). If you want adjustable trigger paths or a transport box included, you quickly end up over €200. However, SCUF controllers are unmatched in customization. If you spend even more, you can get a nearly customized controller with high quality. But at that price, you’ll be looking at €250 or more.

The FUSION Pro Wireless Controller for PS4 was sent to us for testing purposes. However, the manufacturer had no influence on the content and structure of the article.
FUSION Pro Wireless Controller for PS4: How did we test?
The test:
Everyday test over 6 weeks with more than 100 hours of gameplay
Wide range of games; including Call of Duty, Stardew Valley, FIFA, SnowRunner, Fall Guys
The test consists of 4 parts. With one click, you can go directly to the corresponding sections:
The tester Maik Schneider: Since I can remember, I have been playing on consoles and grew up with the controller in hand. My gaming passion and love for writing brought me to MeinMMO. I mainly cover the battle royale Call of Duty: Warzone as a freelance author.
I have a special relationship with PS4 controllers. Since the launch of the PS4, I have amassed a decent collection of 11 controllers, most of which barely work anymore. Still, I have always remained loyal to the simple and good concept and never tried a costly premium model.
With the FUSION Pro Wireless Controller for PS4, I’m venturing into new territory and comparing the licensed €130 controller with the original and over 7 years of experience with several thousand PS4 controller gaming hours.
What does “licensed controller” mean? Manufacturer PowerA defines a licensed product with 3 characteristics: 1. Quality: The licensing company, in this case Sony, specifies specifications to guarantee a certain quality of the products. 2. Design: Licensed products have access to PlayStation artworks, and thus the FUSION Pro Wireless for PS4 can use the real PlayStation symbols. 3. Reliability: To ensure compatibility of the licensed products, manufacturer PowerA and the licensing company test the products separately.
All functions at a glance: FUSION Pro Wireless vs. Original PS4
The FUSION Pro Wireless for PS4 offers you almost all functions of a normal PS4 controller. From the touchpad, the jack input for your headset, to motion sensors and vibration – the important functions are included.
On top of that, there are a number of extras, but also some functions that the FUSION Pro Wireless lacks compared to the normal PS4 controller:
Extra functions FUSION Pro Wireless:
Robust design in black PlayStation look
Rubberized areas on the back
PC support
Removable paddle module
3 adjustable trigger lengths for L2/R2 triggers
Mouse-like front triggers (L1/R1)
Interchangeable thumbsticks (3 extra sticks included)
Battery life of up to 20 hours
Storage box for all parts
The size of the controller is closer to that of the PS5 controller.
Disadvantages compared to the normal PS4 controller
Headset only works in wired mode
Only the included cable fits properly
LED bar between triggers necessary for some PSVR games
Wireless mode not possible on PS5

In practice – FUSION Pro Wireless shines with extras, but annoys MMO players
Weight, quality, and handling
The buttons, thumbsticks, paddles, and triggers
Bluetooth, compatibility, and PC support
Weight, quality, and handling
What I like: The controller is larger, heavier, and all the buttons feel more precise. The FUSION Pro Wireless is very well made and feels high-quality. The initial qualitative impression was very good, and almost all elements give off a high-quality impression.
Thanks to the rubberized side parts, I have a secure grip, and the matte surface of the top provides even more grip. The controller always fits well in hand. However, the high weight is noticeable when switching from a PS4 controller – there are 210 grams (PS4) against 365 grams (FUSION Pro Wireless with paddles). The weight didn’t bother me, but I was also already familiar with the PS5 controller (278 grams).
It became somewhat uncomfortable with the paddle module. I was used to firing and aiming in a shooter with the front triggers (R1/L1). However, the paddles are not optimally accessible then. The transition took a few fussy gaming hours, but after a while, I got used to the back paddles and the operation felt good – comfortable extra buttons on the backside.
What are back paddles good for? These are buttons on the back of a controller. You can usually assign these extra buttons freely, for example connecting the circle button to a paddle. Circle can then be pressed either with the normal button or with the paddle. This means you no longer have to take your thumb off the right stick and can aim and press the circle at the same time in shooters.
What I don’t like: The modular system with the removable front and paddle module brings some uncertainties to the stable system.
The front part has a good grip and helps prevent slipping. However, it is held by a few small magnets in the controller, and in stressful situations, the front part slipped a few times. The top could be better secured, especially since currently, there are no other front parts for the controller available for purchase.
The paddles on the module are slightly wobbly due to the construction. This detracts from the otherwise high-quality impression.
Additionally, the paddles protrude significantly from the controller and are therefore activated quickly. Even when laying it down carefully, the circle button often wanted to leave the lobby. This, however, makes the back paddles accessible for small hands as well. However, I have to be extremely cautious of the flap for the module connection – leaving the module on is not really an option.
The module works well – but make sure not to lose the flap.
The buttons, thumbsticks, paddles, and triggers
What I like: The buttons triangle and co. sit tighter and thus also feel slightly more premium. In general, the control elements feel more precise. This is especially true for the R1 and L1 triggers, which click like mouse buttons.
This continues with the thumbsticks – upon first contact, I already felt that the stick offers more grip. The sticks can easily be swapped for other thumbsticks – 3 different variants are included with the controller. However, I haven’t seriously used any of them.
I find the easy adjustment of the back paddles strong – with 2 buttons, you can set a paddle to the desired button.
With the 3-way triggers, I can set the distance to the impulse point for R2 and L2. This means bullets fly out of the barrel faster – also the reason why I actually used R1 to fire. A nice extra, which sometimes brings problems in practice.
What I don’t like: Due to the 3-way triggers, I can fire faster, but the triggers are not fully pulled at the shorter distances.
Example Warzone: When I get into a vehicle, I can only give little gas with the short trigger distances as the trigger simulates the gas pedal. I then have to quickly operate the switch to set it to the longest distance. However, the switch is so tight that quickly switching is difficult.
I’m also not entirely satisfied with the back paddles. Although the wings at the back of the device sit well in the hand after some time, the construction causes problems. As all paddles can be removed individually, the module appears “vulnerable”. The materials are quite high quality and robust, but the design is prone to damage. Additionally, under stress, I came under the paddles a few times, and the wings stood up briefly.
On the back, there are switches for PC support and the 3-way triggers.
Bluetooth, compatibility, and PC support
What I like: In wired mode, the FUSION Pro Wireless for PS4 is a strong all-rounder and can be easily connected to PS4, PS5, and computer. The paddle module also works well all the time.
You should keep in mind that the FUSION Pro is recognized as a PS4 controller by a PS5. If you start a PS5 game, the controller does not work.
On the PS4, wireless mode is also no problem. However, it’s not as easy as with the standard controllers – I had to register the controller in the device settings. But that was easy to do, and the battery lasted about the 20 hours promised by the manufacturer.
What I don’t like: The biggest problem with the FUSION Pro Wireless is the lack of headset support in wireless mode. If I want to play with a jack headset via the controller, I always have to use the cable. At first, I thought my controller was broken – but the manufacturer support actually confirms that a headset only works in wired mode (via powera.com).

Today, on July 17, the first day of the big GO Fest 2021 rises in Pokémon GO. Throughout the event, several Hyper Bonuses are to be unlocked. However, what is inside is still partially unknown.
What’s happening here? During the current GO Fest 2021, trainers around the world must master global challenges. These bring bonuses for the event itself, as well as the coveted Hyper Bonus.
This bonus ideally consists of three periods in the coming weeks, during which Pokémon GO will be filled with additional rewards. However, these goals must be achieved:
8 challenges for the first bonus (Time)
16 challenges for the second bonus (Space)
24 challenges for the third bonus (???)
The descriptions of the Hyper Bonuses have been relatively open so far. Trainers expect a return of Dialga and Palkia for the first bonuses, while the discussion about the ??? bonus is still open.
Now, the first rewards for the Hyper Bonus are known.
Hyper Bonus “Time” with Shiny Koknodon and Shilterus – Already achieved
This is coming with the Hyper Bonus Time: The first Hyper Bonus is expected to bring Pokémon from various eras. For example, from the past, present, and future. Accordingly, the first Pokémon are also now known.
Via Twitter, the Pokémon GO channel showed:
Shiny Koknodon is set to appear in the game for the first time
Shiny Schilterus as well
Additionally, Porygon will spawn

Today, on July 16, 2021, the Futties begin in FIFA 21. This event is full of strong cards – and makes a change to the Ultimate Team store.
When do the Futties start? The Futties start on Friday, July 16, 2021, at 7:00 PM. This event is known from previous FIFA editions, where it took place multiple times in the summer.
What do the Futties bring? Among other things, players can choose certain cards throughout the event, which then receive improved values. Also in FIFA 21, such a feature is back: A player choice between Carvajal and Manolas appeared, which can also be equipped with changed positions.
In addition, there is a colorful mix of previous special cards during the Futties in the packs. Among other things, the following cards are included. Overall, however, significantly more cards are contained in the “Best of”.
The first Best of Team
Furthermore, there are supposed to be special SBCs based on certain favorites from the past months.
Gifts for players: Depending on how much you have played FIFA 21, you will receive gifts.
Between 10 and 70 days in FUT, there’s a Jumbo Premium Gold Pack
71 – 160 days bring a Prime Gold Player Pack
161 – 235 days bring a Rare Mega Pack
Over 236 days there is an Ultimate Pack
Changes in the store and packs for the Futties event
This is changing in the store: In the Pitch Notes, EA Sports explained an overhaul of the store in Ultimate Team. In this context, the preview packs play a role.
These preview packs were actually only announced for the recently completed “Festival of FUTBall” and players suspected that they would disappear afterward. However, that is not the case for now.
This is what the mixed store should look like
This is changing with the packs: From the start of the Futties, both “normal” packs and preview packs will be available in the store. Therefore, it may happen that both preview packs and normal packs of the same pack type are available at the same time.
Why are these packs exciting? The preview packs allow players to see beforehand what is inside them. One can decide after the insight whether to really buy the pack. If there is no useful card inside, one can put the pack back and open another at a later time.
That they will now stay for a longer period is interesting. Because with that, they are no longer a completely event-bound feature for the Festival of FUTBall, but a feature that could appear again.
Such a plan has not yet been announced, and it is unclear whether preview packs will play a role in the store in the future. We will keep you updated on this at MeinMMO.
According to a survey on MeinMMO, you are really excited about Lost Ark, and many are even willing to spend money on the Free2Play MMORPG.
What is it about? In recent weeks, we have launched a survey online and asked you whether you will play the beta of Lost Ark. Although we knew that Lost Ark is highly anticipated here, the results surprised us as well.
About a month after the closed alpha of Lost Ark, many players are still excited about the MMORPG hit and the beta of the game. It is supposed to be released in the fall, and a beta was initially leaked for July, although time is running short. You can already sign up for this beta and even secure a spot in it.
Here’s how you voted: The survey started on June 29, and as of now (July 16, 2021, 3:25 PM), a total of 1,621 of you have voted. The voting was one-time only, so each person was allowed to cast only one vote, and you provided us with an exciting result. We asked: Will you participate in the Lost Ark beta?
Yes, I have a Founder Pack: 47.26 %
Yes, I signed up: 35.54 %
I don’t know yet: 11.90 %
No, I am not interested: 5.30 %
The survey clearly shows that the majority, over 80 % of you, definitely want to participate in the beta. Almost half of you, 47.26 %, have even purchased the Founder Pack.
What is the Founder Pack? Currently, you can buy three different pre-order packages, called Founder Packs, which offer some advantages at launch. The Founder Packs are available for €24.99, €49.99, and €99.99 and provide additional content accordingly.
35.54 % of our users are interested in the game but do not want to spend any money on the Free2Play MMORPG yet. You can sign up for the beta at any time, but access is not guaranteed.
11.90 % of you are still somewhat skeptical about the game from Korea. You voted and told us that you are unsure whether you want to participate in the beta. However, this doesn’t necessarily mean that you lack interest in the game. Some are concerned that Amazon will delete everything after the beta anyway. Additionally, the game has already been playable through alternative means.
Only 5.30 % of you have no interest in the Lost Ark beta at all. This can have similar reasons. Some users have experienced the alpha and have seen what they need to see before the release.
This is what you say: The mood of the survey is also reflected in the comments. Especially the reasons why you do not want to play the beta I found very interesting.
Our reader Ben writes: ‘I’m so excited, can’t wait for it to start!’
Reader Leyaa writes: ‘I’m still torn about whether I should participate in the beta. I don’t like it when all my progress is later wiped.’
User test adds: ‘I don’t know if I will play the beta extensively. I have played a lot on the RU server. There’s going to be a wipe anyway, so I will […] play the classes I didn’t play on RU.’
However, not only the survey results but also the number of participants in the survey show one thing: You are really excited about Lost Ark and can hardly wait for it to finally begin in the fall.
What do you think of the survey? Which Founder Pack have you bought, if you bought one? And what do you want to do in the beta?
