Destiny 2 offers new weapons with the launch of the new season. Some of these will positively impact your journeys. We at MeinMMO will show you which weapons those are in Season 15.
That’s why you should get these weapons: This weapon list is a mix of various weapon types that have benefited from Patch 3.3.0 added on August 24, 21. Some of the weapons have been newly added, while others you may already know, as they were present in the past and ultimately sunsetted.
With the update, some weapons have gained value, making it onto this list.
List of the current 6 best weapons in Season of the Lost
In the following section, we present the weapons with their best perks in PVE and PVP. We will also show you where and how to get them.
Nail
Nail
This is what makes the weapon strong: Thanks to innovations in the weapon sandbox, all fusion rifles benefited from increased damage. This gem is a linear fusion rifle in the heavy weapon slot.
Where do you get it? You can get this gun with some luck at the end of a battleground round. Alternatively, you can get Nail by focusing Umbral Engrams at the HELM.
These perks are important:
PVE
Cannelured Barrel
Liquid Coils
Clown Cartridge
Vorpal Weapon
Instead of the perk “Clown Cartridge,” the “Auto-Loading Holster” might be a good choice since the weapon’s reload speed is not all that quick.
PVP
Hammer-Forged Rifling
Accelerated Coils
Kill Clip
Seraph Rounds
Vex Mythoclast
Vex Mythoclast
What makes the weapon strong? The Vex Mythoclast benefited from a minor overhaul. Now this rifle deals 40% more damage in PVE and, with its range, it is one of the best auto rifles in its class.
The weapon fires fully automatic fusion rifle rounds. It has no spread, unlike what is typically expected from fusion rifles. However, the Vex Mythoclast also features a linear fusion rifle mode. This allows you to fire three shots after a successful charge. The weapon’s special ability charges through kills.
Where do you get it? You need to be lucky because this device can only be obtained at the end of the raid for the Glass Chamber. Each Guardian has a chance to get the weapon once, so a total of three times per week.
Something important about the Vex: This weapon is definitely a gem on its own and a good addition to your weapon arsenal. However, its true destructive power unfolds only when the catalyst is applied. This causes you to receive bonus precision, bonus damage, and bonus stability after a kill.
Additionally, the Vex can also be enhanced with the new mod “Particle Deconstruction”. All this makes the weapon a killing machine that mows down everything in its sights.
Since the Vex Mythoclast is an exotic weapon, the perks are fixed. There is no difference between PVP and PVE.
A Noble Remembrance
A Noble Remembrance
What makes the weapon strong? Machine guns were rarely used before Patch 3.3.0 and often replaced by rocket launchers. Now that MGs have also received a 20% damage boost in PVE, they could definitely perform much better.
Where do you get the MG? A Noble Remembrance can be earned on the Moon through the “Essence of Greed.” If you have completed the story from “Shadowkeep,” you have probably come across this essence. By completing the essence once, you can now buy it at the Table of Enchantment to get a good roll. You only need illusory essences for this.
These perks are crucial:
PVE
Arrowhead Brake
Extended Magazine
Overflow
Rampage
With this roll, you have an MG that can thin out entire enemy masses.
PVP
Hammer-Forged Rifling
Light Mag
Firmly Planted
Snapshot Sights
This perk constellation offers you an MG for quick use, which you can draw quickly and aim with rapidly. The build is optimized for range.
The Last Breath
The Last Breath
What makes the weapon strong? You surely know this gun from the former Trials of the Nine. “The Last Breath” fires with a rate of fire of 600, somewhat slower than the well-known auto rifle “Chromatin Rush.” However, the rifle is more efficient at greater distances.
Where do you get it? The rifle can only be obtained in the dungeon “The Prophecy”. However, you also need luck, since the drop from the items in this dungeon is also random. It could be that you get no weapon in a run and are flooded with armor.
Which perks are crucial?
PVE
Spiral Rifling
Bouncers
Overflow
Rampage
With this roll, you have a solid auto rifle with good range and a magazine that refills itself through kills.
PVP
Spiral
Long Mag
Kill Clip
Targeting Adjuster
In PVP, this rifle is a real laser, and with the perk “Kill Clip,” you increase your mobility, range, and handling after each kill.
Right Hand II
Right Hand II
What makes the weapon strong? Right Hand II, with its perks, offers the potential to become a true killing machine. Thanks to its high range, it performs well at any distance.
Where do you get it? You can obtain the rifle anywhere.
Legendary Engrams
Umbral Engrams
Banshee’s Shop or his Ascendant Engrams
From the Cryptarch
After completing activities
These perks are important:
PVE
Arrowhead Brake
Tactical Magazine
Feeding Frenzy
Rampage
With this roll combination, you have a powerful pulse rifle in your hands, with the “Rampage” perk never running out.
PVP
Spiral Rifling
Tactical Magazine
Kill Clip
Origin Trait
The perks give the rifle solid handling and stability. Sometimes “Origin Trait” grants new ability energy after each kill.
Vulpecula
Vulpecula
What makes the weapon strong? Vulpecula is one of the new weapons from Season 15. It belongs to the primary weapon category and deals Stasis damage. This weapon not only impresses with its statistics but also with its unique perks.
Where do you get this piece? You can obtain this hand cannon with some luck in the new activity “Astra Alignment” or through focused Umbral Engrams at the HELM.
These perks are crucial:
PVE
Chambered Compensator
Extra Magazine
Looting Shot
Harmony
“Looting Shot” and “Harmony” are two new perks added in Season 15. The “Looting Shot” perk allows you to recharge all equipped weapons by hitting a targeted ammo package. “Harmony” provides a damage and performance buff after a kill with another weapon.
PVP
Cannelured Barrel
Enhanced Rounds
Kill Clip
Explosive Payload
A good roll with solid stats on range and handling. Alternatively, the “Harmony” perk would also be a good choice instead of “Explosive Payload” – but that’s a matter of taste.
These weapons are definitely not the only best in Season 15. Some may still have to prove themselves over the course of the season, but this collection should give you a rough overview of the current weapon situation.
These are good weapons that would fit excellently into the current meta of Destiny 2. Have you already discovered a god roll for yourself, and if so, which one? Let us know in the comments which weapon you like.

Bungie will bring the new feature “Weapon Crafting” to Destiny 2 with the expansion “Witch Queen” in February 2022. In interviews, they revealed some initial details. It is said to be a deep system that offers a completely different crafting experience than, for example, WoW.
Weapon Crafting gives Guardians ultimate control over their weapons
It should be possible to create your own “God Roll”
You will receive more customization options the more tasks you complete with the item
“Oh, the whole game doesn’t work anymore”
This is what Bungie says now: One of the leading figures of Destiny 2, Joe Blackburn, has given interviews about weapon crafting with English-speaking outlets. He is the new strong man and brain behind Destiny 2, brought back by Bungie from Riot Games after he escaped.
Blackburn acknowledges that such a weapon crafting system comes with risks. Every time a central system in Destiny is changed, things could go terribly wrong:
“It’s really easy to mess up in a central nerve area and suddenly you realize: Oh, the whole game doesn’t work anymore.”
Joe Blackburn, Game Director
Bungie is fully aware of this risk, which is why they are investing a lot of time and resources into weapon crafting.
The feature is about building the weapon you have always wanted. At Bungie, they believe that if someone invests so much time and effort to obtain the God Roll of a weapon, then they should also be able to build the weapon exactly the way they want:
“We think: if you invest so much time into a weapon, then it’s okay for us if you can craft any version of it that you want.”
Bungie sees benefits in this:
Players will no longer have to store hundreds of versions of a weapon in their vault
Players can immediately adjust to meta changes by crafting the “optimal version” of a weapon
However, Bungie also acknowledges: This could change by February.
Weapon Crafting in Destiny 2 sounds like an “Artifact” system
This is what’s behind it: It sounds like the “Weapon Crafting” is not a real crafting system, but rather an “extended progression.”
It seems like you choose a weapon and can then expand and customize it like an “artifact” weapon in other games.
The longer you play with the weapon, the more options you have to change it.
Ultimately, players can extend a weapon to build their own God Roll.
This will certainly require a lot of time and “grind.” One problem is that while you can respond to meta changes, it will only be as long as your “favorite weapon” can keep up. If suddenly shotguns are completely out and automatic rifles are the hot thing, you will have wasted time on weapon crafting. This could lead to frustrations.
Weapon crafting is certainly a step to keep hardcore players engaged long-term. It could be a step in the right direction; Destiny 2 has been harshly criticized for some changes since 2019:
All players will start on the same level, as it is a completely new system. It will not be the case that someone has an advantage just because they have a lot of legendary shards or similar.
Is the crafting like in other MMORPGs? No, not at all. Blackburn says:
In MMORPGs, you would have to craft some nonsense 1000 times and then you could actually build the thing you want. That’s not how it is in Destiny. Here, you should build a relationship with a weapon and become an expert for it.
Blackburn adds: It is definitely a much deeper system than any system that was in original Destiny.
However, Bungie also acknowledges: This could change by February.

The release of FIFA 22 is approaching, and we already know a lot about the new installment of the series. Here you will find out the most exciting innovations that the new FIFA part has to offer.
Since FIFA 22 was officially presented, EA has been regularly releasing details about the innovations in various game modes. We summarize the most important innovations for you and reveal which points are particularly exciting.
When is FIFA 22 released? The official release date of FIFA 22 is October 1, 2021. However, you can also play FIFA 22 a little earlier. We’ll tell you how it works.
You can already play FIFA 22 before the official release on October 1, 2021. To do so, you need to either pre-order the Ultimate Edition to play 3 days earlier or get EA Play to test FIFA 22 9 days earlier on September 22 for 10 hours.
Here are the different start times:
Start on September 22 – EA Play or EA Play Pro (with 10-hour time limit)
Start on September 27 – FIFA 22 Ultimate Edition
Start on October 1 – FIFA 22 Standard Edition
1. More realistic gameplay through HyperMotion
What’s new: The big new buzzword for FIFA 22 that is highlighted in all advertising campaigns is “HyperMotion“. A gameplay technology that will only be available for the next-gen FIFA versions on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Google Stadia, and which EA claims will revolutionize gameplay. HyperMotion brings over 4,000 new animations and aims to improve other gameplay aspects.
This is what HyperMotion has to offer:
Machine learning is supposed to provide smoother animations in real-time.
The new “Tactical AI” promises more intelligence for players in both offensive and defensive play. CPU teammates should be able to make more decisions per second in the attack, while the defensive AI should better close gaps and act as a tactical unit.
“Player Humanization” is supposed to improve off-the-ball animations and make players who are not currently involved in the game appear more realistic.
With the “Kinetic Air Battles,” duels in the air are supposed to become more realistic and the animations better coordinated.
“Composed Ball Control” aims to enhance ball control and ensure that players can receive and dribble the ball more agilely.
You can watch the HyperMotion innovations in this video:
2. Smarter goalkeepers who save more shots
What’s new: For the first time in years, goalkeepers have received a comprehensive update, including new animations. With this “Goalkeeper Rewrite,” the keepers are meant to be significantly smarter, move better, and thus prevent more goals.
A change that we noticed in our testing. In fact, the keepers acted differently than in previous years and saved shots that seemed unbeatable in earlier FIFA installments. It remains to be seen how the new, improved keepers will affect the game balance.
3. New speed boost could make a big difference
What’s new: FIFA 22 will introduce a new speed boost that differs from the Bridge Move in FIFA 21. This time, it’s not just the ball-carrying player who can use it; defenders can also take advantage of a well-timed “Explosive Sprint” to win the ball back.
To perform the new “Explosive Sprint,” you need to press the sprint button (R2/RT) at the right moment. However, the exact timing for this is not yet known.
You can see the boost in this video:

What’s new: There will be more tactical options in FIFA 22 – especially in the offensive play. There are now two different areas that you can adjust independently:
Building play in your own half
Chance creation in the opponent’s half
This means you can decide how your team should act in the different halves of the field. For example, you can plan a controlled, safe build-up in your own half and overwhelm the opponent in the opposing half with sudden sprints.
5. Stronger AI for defense
What’s new: FIFA 22 promises smarter AI for defense. The “Tactical AI” in the next-gen version of FIFA 22 is supposed to provide more football-like behavior.
This is particularly noticeable in defense, where the defense now secures different zones instead of focusing on individual players. It moves as a unit and ensures better coverage.
Important: Work rates and fatigue will noticeably affect player positioning, including playing in wrong positions. For example, players positioned in central defense are expected to have worse positioning if that is not their actual position.
You can see how the defense is supposed to act in FIFA 22 in the following video:

What’s new: With FIFA 22, you will receive comprehensive statistics about the game after the match and also at halftime. There are plenty of different facts included.
You can see, among other things, where exactly your players spent most of their time, or where you frequently lost the ball. Additionally, you can see what types of shots were successful and which passing types were the strongest. An interesting feature to improve your own playing style.
7. An improved player switch
What’s new: Every FIFA player knows the problem: You play on defense, want to switch players, but it just doesn’t work properly. You always seem to get the wrong player. FIFA 22 aims to remedy this and introduces a new way to switch players. You simply press the right stick, and various button symbols will appear over your teammates.
Now you press the symbol of the desired player, and you can take control. However, it remains to be seen whether switching will really work as well in practice as announced.
8. Career mode finally with your own club
What’s new: In the popular career mode in FIFA 22, a long-awaited fan wish finally comes true: You can now create your own club and lead it to the top of virtual world football. You choose the club name, a nickname, the crest, create a nice stadium, and decide on a transfer budget. Then you choose which league to start in and off you go.
You can then choose whether to start as an underdog or directly with really strong players.
9. The player career could become really good
What’s new: The player career in career mode has been treated somewhat neglected in recent years, as there have been very few changes or novelties. With FIFA 22, this will change, as the player career, where you create a single player, join a club, and try to become a world star, will finally receive fundamental innovations.
For example, the mode now features an extensive leveling and perk system, allowing you to improve your player in a much more individualized way. You can see how it works here:

You need to earn the coach’s trust by completing tasks
You can end up on the loan or transfer list
10. Deeper player development and customization options for Pro Clubs
What’s new: Just like in player career, Pro Clubs will receive a comprehensive new leveling and perk system for more individualized and deeper player development. You can earn experience points and level up to level 25. Additionally, you need to choose 3 different perks.
For example:
Quick Reply – Shooting attributes get a boost for a short time (15 in-game minutes) after conceding a goal. Activates the finesse shot and power header trait and improves the weak foot.
Distance Shooter – Improves the accuracy and power of long shots. Grants the finesse shot trait and activates 5 stars for the weak foot.
Last Defender – Improves defensive attributes when remaining as the last defender.
The complete list of 26 different perks can be found in the Pitch Notes (via EA.com).
Additionally, there are the following innovations for Pro Clubs:
You can participate in spontaneous matches with friends where you earn EXP without altering your club’s statistics.
You have the option to customize your club’s stadium. Everything from goal music to grass patterns can be adjusted.
11. Online matches now fairer and without aids
FIFA 22 is set to be fairer, especially in online matches. EA will disable various gameplay aids in competitive modes to give players more control over the game and reduce unintentional situations and control issues.
In these modes, the changes apply: The new competitive settings are mandatory in the following modes and cannot be changed.
FUT Rivals
FUT Champions
Online Seasons
Co-op Seasons
Pro Clubs
While in FIFA 21 you could choose, in competitive modes certain settings will now be required automatically
What’s changing: As of now, 7 settings will change mandatorily in the modes mentioned above. These are mainly assistive settings that help with gameplay. Newcomers can benefit from these assists, while professionals tend to turn them off to have complete control.
The changes are as follows:
Context-sensitive agile dribbling: Off
Automatic clearances: Off
Automatic fancy passes: Off
Automatic shots: Off
Header support: Off
Shielding: Manual
Through pass assistance: Semi
If you want a detailed overview of the various assists, check here.
12. No more humiliation through goal celebrations
Conceding a goal in an online match of FIFA is never pleasant, but having to watch the opponent perform a humiliating celebration afterward is unbearable for many players. FIFA 22 aims to help here by allowing players to decide what they want to see after conceding a goal.
You can choose either:
to watch the opponent’s celebration as usual
or to see your own players showing their displeasure over the goal.
13. The Weekend League will be more flexible
In FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, there will be significant changes to FUT competitions Division Rivals and FUT Champions. There will now be fewer matches, and players will receive rewards sooner.
This is what the new Champions Hub in FIFA 22 looks like.
What’s changing in FUT Champions: “FUT Champions” is the highest competition in Ultimate Team and brings players the best rewards. Until now, it took place exclusively on weekends as “Weekend League.” This is now changing.
It will be divided into:
Champions Play-Offs
Finals
To qualify for the Play-Offs, you still need to play Division Rivals to collect FUT Champions points. Then you go into the FUT Champions Play-Offs, where points will also be collected throughout a FUT season to reach the final competition.
Finally, you move on to the Finals, which will expectedly take place over 20 matches on weekends. The big difference from FUT 21: Once you’ve completed the Finals, you will receive your rewards immediately and no longer have to wait for rewards Thursday.
A complete overview and a detailed explanation of the competitions can be found here:
What’s new: In FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, a brand new type of special card is being introduced from the start: FUT Heroes. These special cards can be most closely compared to Icon cards as they also bring back former football heroes to the virtual pitch. However, they are not as powerful as the coveted Icon cards.
What makes FUT Heroes special: The Hero cards operate a bit differently in Ultimate Team compared to regular or Icon cards. They have their own way of building chemistry within the team.
Each FUT Hero is assigned to a specific league where they previously showcased their abilities. The FUT Hero cards then create a green chemistry link to that specific league. Additionally, the usual link for the same nationality is granted to other players.
Thus, FUT Heroes can provide you with new opportunities to build your team. Here you can find an overview of all known FUT Heroes in FUT 22.
15. FIFA 22 has 4 new stadiums
What’s new: FIFA 22 will feature a total of 100 stadiums, with 4 new additions. The new arenas are:
SchücoArena – Arminia Bielefeld
Estadio Nuevo Mirandilla – FC Cádiz
Estádio da Luz – Benfica Lissabon
Estádio do Dragão – FC Porto
The stadium of Arminia Bielefeld is new in FIFA 22.
You can find the complete list of all stadiums in FIFA 22 here.
16. VOLTA feels more like FIFA Street
For FIFA 22, the street soccer mode is being completely overhauled. The new gameplay focuses strongly on skills and special abilities, reminiscent of the old FIFA Street titles.
What’s new in VOLTA gameplay:
A “Skill Meter” that you fill by performing tricks and passes to make goals count multiple times.
“Signature Abilities” that give your VOLTA avatar special abilities that you can activate at the push of a button.
Additionally, VOLTA-Arcade adds a party game tournament that looks quite fun at first glance. Four random disciplines like Foot Tennis, Dodgeball, Disco Lava, or Quick Strike will be played to determine the winner.
You can watch the power shots here:

This is the status: Since EA broke with the long-standing tradition last year and did not release a demo for FIFA 21, the question arises whether there will be a test version of the new FIFA installment this year. However, there is currently no official information or indications regarding a demo for FIFA 22.
Apex Legends allowed a particularly effective way of moving and fighting with tap strafing until the last update. But since this only worked on PC, that’s now over. Console gamers are pleased, but PC players often don’t think it’s great. Read the whole story here on MeinMMO.
What was changed in Apex Legends? The upcoming patch 10.1 brings a significant change to the gameplay of Apex Legends. The previously implemented “tap strafing” will be eliminated. From patch 10.1, you will no longer be able to perform crazy jump maneuvers on PC – where this was possible before.
But what is this tap strafing actually? To understand this, here is a brief excursion on the topic of bunny hopping and strafe jumping, which underlies this technique.
Bunny Hopping, strafe jumping, and tap strafing? What does that mean?
What is bunny hopping? Tap strafing is an evolution of the infamous “bunny hopping.” Bunny hopping means that you jump at the right moment during a forward movement and hop around the map in a continuously hopping form. When bunny hopping is done right, you lose no speed and continuously shift your hitboxes, making targeted hits much more difficult.
What is strafe jumping? The advanced technique from bunny hopping is “strafe jumping.” This means that while jumping, you can also move sideways, making you even more agile.
What is tap strafing? As a masterful discipline, there is also the tap strafing mentioned here in games with the Source engine (CS:GO, Team Fortress, Left 4 Dead). Tap strafing builds on strafe jumping and uses a peculiarity of the underlying Source engine.
The Source engine (Apex Legends uses a modified version of it) checks always when the forward key is pressed, the direction and the movement. So when you tap forward while looking in another direction mid-jump, you can change your movement direction in the air.
Pros simply repeat the bunny hopping trick and bind the forward movement to the scroll wheel. This allows wild actions where you can radically change direction mid-jump, creating unexpected shooting angles and evasive maneuvers.
The technique is not easy to master and requires good timing, but those who can pull it off can perform spectacular stunts.
This is briefly explained in action here in the video:

PC pros are upset, console players think it’s good
Why is tap strafing being removed? While tap strafing was not an issue for a long time and was particularly favored by top players, there is a specific problem: The necessary movements can only be performed with a keyboard and mouse. And those are usually only available on PC.
This excludes console players, who cannot perform this effective movement technique with a controller. Apex Legends has supported crossplay to Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch since late 2020, meaning all platforms where tap strafing does not work and thus are at a disadvantage compared to PC.
Therefore, this feature will now be disabled with the upcoming patch 10.1. The developers’ explanation: It is hard to access, difficult to understand and counter, and will be further amplified by other movement abilities in the game. This likely refers to the speed boost from heroes like Octane.

How are players reacting? Since the technique of tap strafing was particularly popular among top players, they often have little good to say about the developers’ decision:
Nokokopuffs (via Twitter): “The worst decision of all time!”
Dyrus (via Twitter): “Apex Legends has been killed again by its own devs!”
CouRage (via Twitter): “Damn, this is just crazy…”
User NiceWigg (via Twitter) acknowledges that tap strafing might have been too easy over the scroll wheel, but they should have just removed that specific option and kept the technique itself in the game.
Other players, however, praise the developers’ decision:
Frexs (via Twitter): “Thank you, tap strafing was super OP against us controller players, thank you for removing it from the game, I love the change and look forward to the future!!!”
LeonBlade (via Twitter): “I would like to see how many people complaining actually use tap strafing… How can so many of you do it when I never see anyone in my lobbies actually doing it? Remember how big the player base is. I’m glad it’s gone (I play on mouse and keyboard).”
CloverWzy (via Twitter): “I don’t mind it. But if you’re nerfing the movement, then nerf the aim assist [on consoles] as well.”
So much for the opinions from the community. What is your opinion on tap strafing? Is Apex Legends losing a unique feature with this or should such inequalities be eliminated to enable fair crossplay? Let us know in the comments here.
In Pokémon GO today, on September 1st, the Raid Hour with Lugia is taking place. We show you the best attackers for the raids and the Shiny form to look out for.
What kind of event is this? Every Wednesday evening, a Raid Hour takes place in Pokémon GO. For 60 minutes, raids featuring the event Pokémon mainly appear in the game arenas. For participants, this is a great opportunity to earn targeted candies, XP, and other raid rewards.
Today’s Raid Hour features Lugia of the Psychic and Flying types from the second generation.
Raid Hour with Lugia – Start, Counters, and Shiny
When does it start? The Raid Hour begins as usual at 6:00 PM local time. About twenty minutes before the event starts, level 5 eggs will appear in the arenas, announcing the upcoming raids. By 7:00 PM, the event will be over, and the raids will gradually return to the “normal” raid bosses.
The best types against Lugia: Lugia is of the Psychic and Flying types itself. Therefore, many different attacker types are effective in battle. You should use the following types as attackers: Ice, Electric, Rock, Ghost, and Dark.
Best counters against Lugia:
Pokémon
Moves
Mega-Gengar
Lick + Shadow Ball
Shadow Raikou
Thunder Shock + Wild Charge
Shadow Electivire
Thunder Shock + Wild Charge
Shadow Snorlax
Body Slam + Avalanche
Shadow Magnezone
Spark + Wild Charge
Shadow Zapdos
Thunder Shock + Thunderbolt
Shadow Mamoswine
Powder Snow + Avalanche
Shadow Tyranitar

Shadow Mewtwo
Confusion + Shadow Ball
Zekrom
Charge Beam + Wild Charge
Mega-Gyarados
Bite + Crunch
Thundurus (Therian Forme)

How long will Lugia stay? Lugia is visiting Pokémon GO with the move Aero Blast. You can find it in level 5 raids from September 1, 2021, to September 14, 2021. Afterwards, Lugia will disappear again for a while.
Is there a Shiny Lugia? Yes, indeed. If you’re lucky, you can find a Shiny Lugia in Pokémon GO. You can easily recognize it by its red color.
It might also be worth your while to take some photos after fighting Lugia. Because the new special research with Hoopa includes the task of taking 3 snapshots of wild Psychic Pokémon. And as we’ve found out, raid bosses count for this task as well.
Hearthstone is getting bolder. The latest mode is a farce – at least that’s what our card demon Cortyn thinks, and he’s getting really worked up about it.
Hearthstone and I have always had a love-hate relationship. At the start of a new expansion, I am always extremely excited, checking out the new cards and already planning cool decks in my head. Sometimes it works out. In other cases, like in the current meta, the game is just no fun anymore. All matches play out the same way, and the game suffers in many areas.
That’s why I was all the more curious about the Mercenary mode, which the developers hinted at a long time ago. Yesterday brought the big reveal.
To put it mildly: What in the Nether just happened?
The presentation was a complete chaos. Even seasoned veterans were unable to fully grasp the features of this mode during the nearly 30-minute presentation. Even with the press materials in hand, it was really, really difficult to understand the details. What exactly are the new card packs? What are Mercenary coins? How does a round work, and why is Diablo suddenly involved?
It didn’t get any better considering that there was hardly any gameplay shown continuously; instead, you were bombarded with 15-second clips in the best TikTok manner until you couldn’t grasp anything anymore due to the effects and all the screen texts.
On top of that, there’s the design. Yes, the mode hasn’t been released yet. Yes, the developers still have about 6 weeks. But if the game board looks like the actual action takes place on 1/9 of the area, then something has just gone wrong with the interface design. Over 85% of the area is empty, as this image clearly shows:
85% of the area is virtually unused.
Hearthstone wants money – and more and more
Hearthstone has drastically increased its monetization in the last 12 months. Where it used to be enough to buy a few card packs every 3 months, the game has become more aggressive.
In addition to season passes, purchasable top decks, special class bundles, purchasable solo content, and a new cosmetic set with skins for the Battleground mode almost every 3 days, the Mercenary mode is now also coming.
Because – well, who would have thought – it can be pre-ordered. There are a total of 3 pre-order packages, either with 30 or 50 packs of the new mode and a particularly fancy Mercenary card (Sylvanas, Diablo, or the Lich King). That costs €30 or €50. Or, if you want to get all 3 packages, a whopping €130.
The catch, which hurts more than the hooks in Dead by Daylight, is the following: The Mercenary card packs have absolutely nothing to do with the regular collection. The regular collection and the Mercenary mode are completely separate in this regard.
€130 as a possible pre-order – for a new game mode that has nothing to do with the old one.
In the Mercenary packs, you will find various cosmetics, but mainly also coins with which you can acquire new Mercenaries, or – now it gets particularly nice – upgrade existing Mercenaries. You can improve their abilities and equipment if you’ve gathered enough coins.
And because the mere possibility of a €130 pre-order for a game mode that has nothing to do with the rest of Hearthstone apparently isn’t enough revenue: It is also pay-to-win, as the whole thing has PvP.
In PvP, there are no equal conditions. Although “the game tries to find opponents of equal strength,” once you lose a round because your Arthas only does 10 damage with his Death Cloak while the opponent deals 30 damage because he just threw €500 at the problem, pay-to-win becomes obvious.
More money means more power and stronger Mercenaries with better abilities. This is a whole different level of “pay-to-win” and gacha nonsense than what we are used to from Hearthstone.

What I find particularly bold: To build and expand the storage of the Mercenary mode, you need to use gold. Gold that you mainly earn in the other game modes. Gold that is usually used for arena rounds, buying card packs, or mini-sets. Gold that has already become increasingly scarce.
Why is that? The answer is simple: So that you spend even more real money. If you have to spend your gold in the Mercenary mode to get it running, you thus have to spend real money to still get cards in the regular game mode.
Hearthstone doesn’t even try to hide how they want to rip me – or all of us – off. Even the biggest “whales”, i.e., the players who spend a lot of money on Hearthstone, are fed up on the subreddit and feel cheated.

And I can understand it. If I want to enjoy Hearthstone “as a whole” now, I not only have to buy a new set every 3-4 months, but also another “set” for the Mercenary mode, into which I can also sink nearly unlimited money if I want to play PvP.
So I’m roughly looking at €250 – 300 every 3-4 months. That’s not “a bit too expensive”; that’s completely insane. I could just as easily buy a full-price title every month or a new gaming PC every year.
Or to quote Blizzard: “But don’t worry if you can’t get all three packages.” Just this sentence leaves me speechless. Is this what is expected? Is it the desired norm that someone gets “all three packages” for a whopping €130? For a mode that has nothing to do with the rest of Hearthstone? For a mode that was weak in its presentation, smells of pay-to-win, and creates a paywall so big that some former US presidents could have fulfilled their campaign promises with it?

I am angry and disappointed. As fun as the game mode sounds, I find the monetization and the massively integrated pay-to-win terrible. The mode can’t provide me with enough enjoyment to justify an investment of €30, €50, or even €130, which I would likely have to top up every few months when new Mercenaries are added.
At least there’s one positive point: On October 12, the Mercenary mode will be released simultaneously with Hearthstone, along with the zombie co-op shooter Back 4 Blood. I already know which of the two games I’ll be playing that evening.
If you’re looking for an alternative to Hearthstone, MeinMMO editor Alexander Leitsch recommends the game Legends of Runeterra:
The Ones-to-Watch cards will also return in FIFA 22. In real soccer, many big names switched clubs this summer – a circumstance that could make the promo better than in recent years.
What is “Ones to Watch”? The Ones-to-Watch cards (OTW) are among the first special cards in the game each year. OTW cards are based on the most exciting transfers of the summer. This means, for example: if a big star changes clubs, there is a high probability that he will also receive an OTW card in FIFA.
The special feature: these dynamic cards can be upgraded throughout the season. If the player is in the Team of the Week or receives a performance-based special card like “Player of the Day” items, the OTW card will also be improved.
Additionally, there is the new “Wins-to-Watch” bonus in FIFA 22. This is a one-time boost that the card receives if the real team of the OTW player achieves five wins in the first 10 league games starting October 1. Therefore, an upgrade could happen relatively early.
It is also worth mentioning that an OTW card is part of the pre-order bonuses of the Ultimate Edition if pre-ordered by October 1. So there is a chance to get such a card early if pre-ordered.
What was the problem? What frustrated many players in the past was that OTW cards often didn’t live up to their promises. Either the players were too weak from the start, so their stats couldn’t rise high enough, or the expected upgrades didn’t materialize because the player wasn’t often enough in the TOTW.
This year, however, the OTW promo leaves hopes for exciting cards. The reason: the transfers this year were quite significant.
Are there the best OTW cards in FIFA 22?
Which players are confirmed? So far, there is only one confirmed OTW card: David Alaba will receive such a special card after his transfer to Real Madrid and is likely to be a valuable center-back in FIFA 22.
But it gets really exciting when you look at the potential names for the OTW promo. The summer was full of top players changing clubs.
These players changed clubs: The number of transferred players is huge in itself. But especially the top names are noteworthy – as they could become very interesting for the OTW promo and offer more opportunities for strong players than in recent years.
David Alaba has been confirmed as the first OTW card
This has also been noted in the community on the FIFA subreddit (via reddit). There, a post titled “OTW went from one of the worst promos to one of the best” is being discussed. Kylian Mbappé is also mentioned as a possible transfer, which now likely won’t happen.
Nevertheless, the basis for OTW cards is good, should the mentioned players receive a card.
At the same time, the community is also discussing that it can always happen that due to the luck factor in packs, one could receive weaker cards instead of top players.
There is also discussion that upgrades still largely depend on the TOTW nominations – and players do not always land in the Team of the Week even with good performances.
However, many of the players have moved to top clubs that are likely to win several matches. This creates hope that regular TOTW nominations are in store.
Which players will ultimately receive OTW cards remains to be seen. As soon as it is known which players are on board, we will keep you updated!
With consumables, there are a large number of different items in Fortnite that you can collect and use during a match. MeinMMO shows you in this guide what these items bring.
What are consumables? These are items that you can find and use in Fortnite. Most of these items either restore shield or health points and can be found anywhere on the map.
These include items like apples, mushrooms, chilis, or slurp mushrooms. Coconuts, corn, cabbage, and bananas have also been introduced. The campfire is also among the consumables.
In total, there are currently 9 consumables in Fortnite. We show you the effects of the most important items and where you can find them.
This is what an apple looks like in the game.
Consumables in Fortnite – Effects and Locations
What can the consumables do? They serve to heal or repair your shield. Here is a list of the items, their usual locations, and effects:
Item
Effect
Locations
Apple
Heals 5 health points (1 second)
Farmers Market, north of Frenzy Farm. Look under trees or right in the market.
Mushroom
Heals 5 shield points (1 second)
Weeping Woods, between the trees at the edge of the forest.
Slurp Mushroom
Heals 10 shield points (1 second)
Slurpy Swamp, on the hills that stick out of the water. They shine blue.
Coconut
Heals 5 health points. At full health, you get shield points instead.
You can find numerous coconut palms around Coral Castle and Believer Beach.
Chili
Heals 5 health points, also gives 20% more running speed for 60 seconds
Loot from NOMS food crates.
Banana
Heals 5 health points (1 second)
Found on the ground around Coral Castle or in banana stands.
Cabbage
Heals 10 health points (1 second)
Found in almost every garden and vegetable patch. Particularly common in Corny Complex.
Corn
Heals 10 health points (5 seconds)
Commonly found in Corny Complex, orchard, Iron Farm, Camp Cod, or Boney Burbs.
Campfire
Resting heals health points, cannot be picked up.
Campfires are scattered almost everywhere on the map. Keep an eye out for camping spots and gardens.
What is the difference between campfires and other consumables? It is not an item that can simply be picked up. Campfires are stationary and must first be ignited.
Whoever is the first to reach a fire in a match can easily ignite it. It burns for 25 seconds, and during this time, players can regenerate health points around the fire.
Once it has burned down, the next player must reignite the fire. It requires 300 wood. However, you can also keep a burning fire going by adding 30 wood.
Consumables can be useful tools during matches. If you remember the possible locations, you can move accordingly on the map and keep replenishing your health and shield points.
However, keep in mind that there are likely other players after these items.

The MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online now includes a total of 44 dungeons. In a survey from August 2021, the community on Reddit allowed players to choose the easiest to the hardest dungeons. We present the results from August 18, 2021.
Dungeons are likely the first group content that players try out in ESO. But which dungeon is easier and suitable for inexperienced players? Which dungeons are super difficult and challenge even experienced players?
On Reddit, the user grim7259 is looking for the hardest dungeon. A survey was conducted for this. Based on the results, a ranking was created from the rating “Easy” to “Hard”. Furthermore, distinctions were made according to the difficulty levels:
Normal
Veteran
Veteran (Hardmode)
Reddit Ranking: Hardest Dungeons
This is the difficulty ranking for 2021: According to grim7259, the survey consists of about 150-200 responses. The most responses came for the normal difficulty level. There is no point scale, only a ranking from Easy to Hard. Not every dungeon had to be rated.
This is the graphic that grimr7529 created as the result of his survey from Reddit.
The 3 Hardest Dungeons in ESO
We take a closer look at the last 3 dungeons on the scale.

Place 3: Scalecaller Peak (Scalecaller Peak): DLC dungeon from the Dungeon DLC “Dragon Bones” 2018
According to the survey, Scalecaller Peak in Normal & Veteran mode is the hardest dungeon. Fang Lair is the hardest dungeon in Veteran mode with Hardmode according to these results.
Feedback on the Reddit Ranking: Hardest Dungeons
As grim7259 himself suspects in his post, the ranking appears skewed for experienced players. Moreover, it must be noted that the number of responses (150-200) in relation to the total player count of ESO may not be truly significant.
He also mentions that not every dungeon had to be rated. Players who did not know a dungeon did not have to rate it. I think this is problematic, especially in the presentation of a scale.
Who is speaking here?: MiezeMelli has been playing The Elder Scrolls Online since the beta. Since early 2018, she has regularly streamed ESO on Twitch and has been part of Bethesda’s official ESO Stream Team since late 2020. Since January 2018, she has been creating videos (Raid Triples, Guides, DPS Tests) on YouTube. She has over 6,900 play hours across 18 max-level characters and 1,885 Champion Points (as of June 25, 2021). At MeinMMO, she has been responsible for everything about ESO, especially guides, since May 2021.
My feedback on the “Normal” ranking: For experienced players, normal dungeons are actually all very easy. They are often completed without a healer and with one more DD (Damage Dealer) instead. Sometimes the tank is also swapped for extra damage.
I cannot create any ranking so easily, as the dungeons at the normal difficulty level are really significantly easier than at other difficulty levels. Only in the newer DLC dungeons am I sometimes surprised that a certain attack can one-hit a DD. I’m thinking of the werewolves in Moon Hunter Keep, for example.
What does one-hitting mean? It means that someone is defeated with just one hit (one hit = one blow).
My feedback on the “Veteran” ranking: In Veteran mode, experienced players at least notice the differences. Often you can orient yourself very well regarding the difficulty based on the release date. The DLC dungeons that came later are significantly more difficult.
While it is possible to complete some dungeons of the base game (Mushroom Cave I or Darkshade Caverns I) as a DD with self-healing alone, you should not attempt this with the DLC dungeons.
However, I cannot understand how the DLC dungeon Scalecaller Peak was chosen as number 1. The dungeon was really tough right after its release. But that was about 3 years ago. Since then, it has been nerfed once or even several times.
I would still consider the Hardmode as demanding because you have to coordinate the end boss at least to some extent. However, it is noticeable to me as a DD that the boss, the Nereid, the Frostatronach, and the adds in the ice phase fall really quickly compared to earlier.
I suspect that this result is due to the fact that not every respondent had to know all the dungeons.
If you’re interested in more about ESO, this might appeal to you:
My feedback on the “Veteran with Hardmode” ranking: The top 3 places also surprised me. While I would indeed name Stone Garden as a difficult hard mode, the dungeon Fang Lair is in first place. And again, we have Scalecaller Peak in 3rd place.
The dungeon Fang Lair was released in the same DLC as Scalecaller Peak. In Veteran mode, I would personally take at least one tank. In Hardmode, I certainly wouldn’t want to miss a healer. But this dungeon has also been nerfed since release.
I still remember that back within my raid guild there was always a small unofficial competition on who completed the dungeons and achievements in hard mode first. Just like Scalecaller Peak, Fang Lair was also very challenging.
Nevertheless, I would consider many dungeons that came after Dragon Bones to be more difficult. But I think this result also reflects that the respondents did not have to know all the dungeons.
I suspect that currently the new dungeons from Update 31 Waking Flame present the biggest challenge. Unfortunately, these are not yet reflected in the ranking.
The Easiest Dungeon in ESO
Most players probably know this loading screen and are happy when it is the result of a random dungeon.
What I like about the survey: In one thing, all players seem to agree. And I can confirm this from my experience within my guilds: Mushroom Cave I is the absolute No. 1 when it comes to finding the easiest dungeon in ESO.
To solve the current special research “Misunderstood Mischief” in Pokémon GO, you need to take snapshots of wild Psychic-type Pokémon. We at MeinMMO have looked into how this works and will show you.
What kind of task is it? On September 1, 2021, a new season began in Pokémon GO. With this, there is also a special research called “Misunderstood Mischief”. This special research includes a task where you need to take three snapshots of wild Psychic-type Pokémon.
But how do you need to take these snapshots for them to count, and which Pokémon are eligible? We will show you.
Snapshot of Wild Pokémon – Here’s How It Works
To photograph a Pokémon in the wild, you need to enter the catch mode. There, you will see a camera icon at the top of the screen. Click on this icon, and a photo view will open, as seen in the following image.
wild Rhyhorn in the catch mask (left) and in the photo view (middle and right)
Here you have the option to take snapshots using the camera icon at the bottom of the screen. If you are satisfied with your image, you can confirm it with the checkmark on the bottom right; otherwise, you can delete it using the trash can icon on the left.
In both cases, you will return to your photo view and can take more images. Once you are done, simply click on the arrow at the bottom left to return to the catch mask. After that, you will have the option to catch your Pokémon.
However, you do not necessarily need to photograph only wild monsters to complete the task. It is also possible to defeat a Pokémon in a raid and take a snapshot of it before catching.
Attention: The task to complete the special research “Misunderstood Mischief” can only be done this way. Photographing an already caught monster or your buddy will not work.
Tip: So you don’t have to search for three different monsters, we have a helpful tip for you. It is enough if you click one of these required Psychic-type Pokémon and photograph it three times in a row. In the photo view, you can take as many pictures as you like. If it worked, a notification will briefly appear at the bottom right showing the task with the corresponding number of completed snapshots.
You Need Psychic-type Pokémon
However, it is not just the snapshot of a wild monster that matters, but also the right Pokémon. To complete the task, you should not photograph just any Pokémon, but you need to focus on Psychic-type monsters. Currently, the following Pokémon of this type are spawning more frequently in the wild:
Magikarp
Solrock (in the city)
Currently, there are also Psychic-type Pokémon in raids, such as Surskit in level-1 raids. So choose suitable monsters of this type and photograph them as described above. Then completing the special research shouldn’t be a problem for you.
By the way: Whether a particular Pokémon is a Psychic-type can also be seen when entering the catch mask. For a short time, the type of the monster is displayed above. If you see a red circle with a white swirl, then it is a Psychic Pokémon.
Which Pokémon did you photograph to complete the task? And what do you think about the special research “Misunderstood Mischief” surrounding Hoopa? Share your opinion here on MeinMMO in the comments.
In addition, during the season of mischief, you can expect numerous shinies and bonuses. We have looked into these and will show you which monsters and features you can look forward to in the coming weeks.

In Guild Wars 2, a new update was released yesterday, bringing back an annual event. However, the developers made a small change to the gameplay that is making many players angry.
What was changed? The new patch brought back the annual event “Festival of the Four Winds.” Along with this came some balance changes to the classes and a general gameplay change. The latter is a major issue for many players.
The gameplay change revolves around the fact that players used to stack many buffs to prepare for a fight, entering battle well-prepared. This was especially done in Fractals and Dungeons, but also in WvW or before World Bosses.
With the latest change, buffs are now removed whenever players:
Switch a build template
Switch an equipment template
Change a trait or specialization
Swap weapons
Respawn
Officially, these changes were made to improve the game’s stability. However, many players are calling this change “the worst ArenaNet has ever made.”
Stacking buffs plays a crucial role in all content where players want to maximize their performance.
Why is this change a problem? Stacking buffs before the fight is generally considered an important mechanic in the game and has been done since release.
Players have stacked blessings like Might or Quickness to go into battle with a lot of damage right away. This differentiates “normal players” from “really good players.”
Because stacking requires the right use of abilities at the right time and, of course, everything has to be done quickly, since the buffs usually run out quickly.
This change does not affect all players, but those affected are threatening to withdraw from the game
What do players criticize? Especially the hardcore players from Fractals and WvW are complaining about the change:
The game would lose an important mechanic
Good players can no longer distinguish themselves as clearly from weaker players
The meta will shift towards condi damage, as it generally makes the game easier and does not require as many pre-stacks as power builds
Some skips are no longer possible because it is now difficult to stack invisibility
Roul, a member of the raid guild Snow Crows and a well-known speedrunner, commented on the topic to MeinMMO:
I find the change to be very thoughtless and reckless. Unfortunately, this is not the first time ArenaNet has been unaware of its actions, but now, in my opinion, they have gone too far. The change is a negative for every type of PvE and punishes you for putting in more effort than others. […]. I admit that as a speedrunner, the change probably affects me the most, but it would be dishonest and pointless to claim that it is therefore “okay” or “does not change anything.” The patch is a deterioration in every conceivable sense.
Nico from the Snow Crows is also puzzled by the change. He argues that if so few players are affected by the change, it would hardly impact server stability. He also believes that ArenaNet should be responsible for providing new servers instead of implementing such a change.
On reddit, it is suspected that the adjustment mainly targets WvW, which is starting the beta for the new alliance system this summer. Here, several hundred players usually meet. However, many find it incomprehensible why the change is also implemented for PvE.
How many players are really affected? On reddit, there are now initial threads that somewhat relativize the extent of the change. For regular groups, where players simply execute their buffs with their existing weapons and skills, the adjustment will not change anything (via reddit).
The average player, who just wants to explore the world and do a dungeon, is therefore not affected.
However, speedrunners, fans of GvGs, or large battles in WvW, and generally players who want to get the most out of their class, see the change as a setback. Because new records – basically no matter in which area of the game – seem impossible for now.
Even in jumping puzzles, one had stacked buffs across different weapons.
What are the consequences? The change has already led some players to announce their withdrawal from Guild Wars 2. However, it must also be mentioned that a lot of frustration has spread within the hardcore community over the last few years.
Since 2019, there have generally been very few new fractals and group content, and there has been a complete lack of new raids. For these players, the latest change is the nail that closes the coffin of the hardcore community.
Additionally, the new expansion End of Dragons will not include a raid. However, the assault missions there are supposed to be equipped with higher difficulties. You can find all information about the expansion here:
So-called “hate raids” are increasingly becoming a problem on Twitch. However, there is hardly any protection against attacks from such bot armies and their hate messages. Therefore, some affected streamers have started a boycott action via the hashtag #ADayOffTwitch. What it’s all about can be found here on MeinMMO.
What are hate raids? The term “hate raid” refers to an action by trolls who attack the stream of a person they dislike with an army of bots. The bots then continuously blare hate messages and insults in the chat and spam everything.
The linked tweet (via Twitter) contains an excerpt of the hate messages that victims of hate raids are spammed with. But beware, the tweet contains vile racist tirades. So look at it only if you can handle such statements.
What is the Twitch walkout all about? As a protest against these hate raids and the lack of protective measures on the platform so far, three affected streamers named ShineyPen, Lucia Everblack, and RekItRaven (via Twitch) proposed a so-called “walkout” on Twitter under the hashtag #ADayOffTwitch.
Today, on September 1, 2021, as many content creators on Twitch as possible are supposed to pause their work and stream nothing. This is intended to financially impact Twitch and finally prompt them to take action against the rampant hate raids.
Twitch is taking its time and streamers are helping themselves
What is Twitch doing against hate raids? Twitch is aware of the issue but has yet to take significant action. They are reportedly planning protective measures against such hate raid attacks, which they do not want to disclose yet. The hate raiders should, of course, not be forewarned.
How is Twitch responding to the Day Off? The action is well received by the platform. According to streamer Lucia Everblack, the action has made it possible to discuss the topic with Twitch on equal footing and finally advance measures.
As another concession from Twitch, the event “Subtember” has been postponed to September 2, so that the streamers participating in the walkout can also benefit from this action. In Subtember, there is indeed a 20% discount on subscriptions, among other things.
How is the action #ADayOffTwitchreceived? The action of not streaming on September 1 has been received differently by streamers. While many small creators support the action, not everyone can participate.
Some streamers report contractual obligations that effectively force them to stream something on a specific day.

Others, according to The Verge (via TheVerge), simply cannot afford to do nothing for a day, as they rely on the income from Twitch and fear potential reprisals from Twitch. Participation in such protest actions might later hinder a possible lucrative Twitch partnership.
Other Twitch users argue that it is exactly the wrong action to withdraw from streaming for a day. After all, that would be precisely what the trolls want with the raids: that the streamers they dislike stop streaming.

The Juggernaut suits are among the strongest items in Call of Duty: Warzone – a thick armored suit with a symbiotic relationship to a mini-gun. However, a player has now shown that the running tanks can also be taken down quite easily.
What’s going on? The large “Battle Royale” matches in Call of Duty: Warzone can be turned upside down by small power events. With a certain probability, one of the mini-events starts and can disrupt the match dynamics significantly. These include:
Outbreak – All eliminated players return to the match
Shot Sale – Discounts and free revivals at the buy stations
Supply Helicopters – Helis with loot fly over Verdansk
Juggernaut Event – Some Juggernaut suits are scattered across the map
All events change the matches in their own way, and particularly the Juggernaut event often causes multiple teams to adjust their tactics to either get the armored suit or avoid it. However, you don’t always have to be afraid of the mighty battle colossus, as proven by a player on reddit. Thanks to a clever tactic and the right equipment, he took down a Juggernaut almost without danger and didn’t take a hit from the powerful mini-gun.
Player uses penetration setup for an easy Juggernaut kill
What does it look like? The user “LordTexugo” was able to gather some thousand upvotes on reddit with his FAL wall hack setup and shows that the full metal jacket rounds of the single-shot rifle have even more to offer:

Texugo is roaming around the Soviet apartment blocks east of the airport and has a Juggernaut nearby. His loadout consists of the FAL assault rifle and a tactical shield. The Juggernaut wanted to help a downed teammate in the staircase, but Texugo had other plans.
Instead of taking to his heels and getting as much distance as possible between himself and the nasty, running armored suit, Texugo plays aggressively and clearly has his sights set on the big guy. The Juggernaut runs into the house towards his teammate and takes the first shot.
Texugo then switches sides of the house and tests his chances from another angle. He realizes that he can shoot through some walls of the house and hit the Juggernaut without needing to see him directly. However, at that moment the Juggernaut doesn’t even try to take down Texugo but instead first goes for the revival of the teammate – which Texugo does not agree with and shoots the downed partner out of the match.
The Juggernaut seems somewhat confused, probably due to the hits that flew through the wall at him. Instead of going directly at the annoying opponent, the Juggernaut decides to try his luck one floor higher. A fatal mistake, as it turned out. Because the full metal jacket rounds of the FAL also penetrate the stairs, and the Juggernaut finds his final resting place in the staircase on the first floor.
Although the video is somewhat older, many commentators respect Texugo’s performance and probably remember a trick or two for their own next fight against the nasty Juggernauts.
It’s often the little tactics and quick decisions that decide between frustration and jubilation. If you want to get better in Warzone, absorb everything, take every little advantage, and dare to try something in the match. What might not work the first time could make you a hero the next time.
These are the situations that make us keep coming back to the game – even though we might have received a kick in the behind last time. If you are looking for more little tricks for your gameplay, check here: 6 tricks in CoD Warzone that every good player should know
Texugo mentions in the thread on reddit that the video is already a bit older and was created during a round of the time-exclusive mode “Jugger Royale”.
Players celebrate the tactic, but also laugh at the Juggernaut
How did he manage that? Essentially, one can observe an interplay of 3 factors:
Texugo’s courage
The FAL setup with full metal jacket rounds
The incompetence of the Juggernaut
Texugo plays a dangerous game by engaging in a duel with the Juggernaut – but is rewarded for his courage. Many players would have reacted more passively in that situation or simply fled. Texugo turns his courage and the special FAL setup into an easy Juggernaut kill.
Moreover, the Juggernaut behaves quite passively, almost paralyzed after the kill of his colleague. The Juggernaut’s wrong decision to go upstairs sealed the fate of the oversized fighter, and Texugo played the duel to the end cleanly.
By the way: If you also want to write crazy stories and informative guides about shooters, we are currently looking for reinforcement for our shooter team at MeinMMO:
What do the players say about it? The thread to the clip collected so far 1,300 upvotes in the Warzone reddit and nearly 100 comments. There are smaller discussions about the “Jugger Royale” mode and the unfortunate behavior of the Juggernaut. However, most are celebrating Texugo’s action:
JPro1155: “I’m reporting you for bullying the poor Juggernaut. He didn’t know what was going on. lol”
Trixx1-1: “Well played. Good job!”
EmeraldMunster: “So wonderful to watch the full metal FAL go on a rampage. ?”

After some leaks already provided the first information from the alpha test of Battlefield 2042, gameplay footage of the weapons and gadgets of the big multiplayer shooter is now circulating.
The leak shows: In the approximately 5-minute gameplay clip, 11 weapon models and 4 gadgets that were playable in the alpha playtest of Battlefield 2042 can be seen.
The showcased weapon models include some old acquaintances known from conventional shooters and previous Battlefield installments.
For example, the Vector submachine gun and the SCAR-H assault rifle are visible in the video.
The player is on the Orbital map, which was the only playable map in the alpha, and is firing a bit.
The video was uploaded to YouTube about a week ago but was deleted shortly after. It is now circulating again on Twitter (via Twitter) and YouTube. Here you can watch the video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LwtmWHXu7QY
SMGs, Assault Rifles, LMGs, and Some Gadgets
What does the video reveal? Although the gameplay clip does not showcase any battles, the short showcase is enough to at least get an impression of the weapon handling, recoil, and reload speed.
In addition to the SCAR-H and the Vector, further models can be identified. The light machine gun is most likely the KAC LAMG, which has already been shown in trailers for BF2042.
The shotgun could be the Remington M870 MCS, which is also known from previous trailers.
When will the beta start? There is still no exact date; it could be just a few days away. A deleted blog post listed September 4 as the start of early access for the open beta.
But as of now, there is no official confirmation. Although the previously known hints also suggest the upcoming weekend, take the date with caution.
It is quite possible that no date has been set yet and that the beta will take place at a later date in September.
For which platforms will the beta be released? The test is set to be available on all platforms where Battlefield 2042 will be playable – namely PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. However, last-gen consoles will have to make some compromises in terms of technology, player count, and map size.
The streamer Matthew „Mizkif“ Rinaudo discovered that a website on the internet is selling his Twitch clips for up to $700. The site uses the technique “NFT.” Particularly shocking: The site even sold clips of the late WoW streamer Reckful. Mizkif involved his lawyer.
This was the surprise for Mizkif: The Twitch streamer Mizkif learned from his chat: There is a site that sells NFT clips of him.
Mizkif was in shock and visited the site in disbelief. His initial reaction was:
„That’s money I could be making!”
Mizkif, Twitch streamer
Quickly, Mizkif was furious, cursing continuously and barely able to contain himself when he saw that the site promised buyers: They could buy and collect a piece of Twitch history here.
When he searched for his own name on the site, he found NFT clips that were going for up to $700. That amounts to about €590.
NFT (Non-Fungible Token) is a technique that allows digital content to be marked as “uniques.” This turns a Twitch clip, which is actually infinitely copyable, into a limited collector’s item that can be sold or traded.
This was Mizkif’s reaction: The Twitch streamer contacted the site’s operator and quickly engaged in a direct message conversation. The site operator stated that they had only listed clips from streamers who had allowed it.
But Mizkif said he had never allowed anything. Moreover, the site also sold clips of the late WoW streamer Reckful. Mizkif said he would really like to know how Reckful allowed this – after his death – (via twitch).
Now the site operator said: He had bought clips himself and passed the cryptocurrency Ethereum to the streamers. He apparently wanted to get the site off the ground this way.

Lawyer warns site operator: What you are doing here is not okay
Mizkif brought in more streamers and his lawyer.
The lawyer made it clear to the site operator that he was in the wrong and could not simply sell Twitch clips of others. Even if he uttered the magic word “NFT”:
„Hello, I am Mizkif’s lawyer and others. And I was also Byron’s lawyer [referring to Reckful]. I am deeply involved in NFTs and equally deep in copyright issues. Everything you are saying is incorrect. There are hundreds of years of copyright. NFTs have changed how technology works, but they haven’t changed the principles of copyright.
What you are doing here is absolutely not okay.”

The developers of New World are currently releasing a series of trailers that explain more about the mysterious world and story of the MMO. The second part presents the dangers in slow motion.
What kind of video is this? In Legends of New World: Chapter 2, the stranded heroes fight against creepy monsters that call the island of Aeternum their home.
The entire video is very dark, and the battles run in slow motion, making them somehow even more threatening.
Coupled with the deep voice giving background to the shown content and the music, it creates a very dark and oppressive atmosphere.
The trailer makes it clear: In New World, things are dark and dangerous. Players must face great dangers and powerful monsters.

Also visible in the trailer are the “Ancients”, creatures that have inhabited the island of Aeternum for thousands of years.
Two other enemy factions are the Angry Earth, creatures of nature, and the Corrupted. The latter are known from many trailers and you encounter them directly at the start of the game. They are humans, animals, or other beings that have been corrupted by the dangerous substance Azoth.
Play New World yourself: If you want to try out the new MMO yourself, you can do so from September 9 to 13. The open beta for New World is running there, which you can participate in via Steam.
Just a few weeks later, on September 28, the release will take place.

Activision Blizzard is battling cheaters in Call of Duty: Warzone and publicly announces the bans. They highlight having banned a specific cheater and post it on Twitter. However, as it turns out: they celebrated too soon. The cheater is still active.
This is how Call of Duty advertised the banned cheater: Yesterday, Call of Duty: Warzone released a video on Twitter. Clearly, the announcement was made: “If you cheat, we will hunt you down.”
It stated:
Bans are continuously happening. They have just banned 100,000 cheaters
Then they particularly highlighted a cheater’s reaction and showed his “real reaction”: “Rushman360” says he cheats for fun and posts videos on TikTok. But now Call of Duty: Warzone is serious:
“Every single one of my accounts is banned. Even the ones I haven’t even played yet. So I got a hardware ban.”
The cheater then explicitly praises Activision Blizzard – he appreciates that. They are now serious. Other content creators will return to the game now.
The Twitter clip was a success for Call of Duty: It received 13,580 “likes” and was viewed 529,000 times.
This is the surprise: As PCGamer found out, the cheater “Rushman360” is apparently not as “hard banned” as he claimed.
Because after Activision Blizzard had advertised with him, Rushman360 was seen back on YouTube: In a stream today, on September 1st, which was broadcast live, the player was seen again in Call of Duty: Warzone, using cheats (via YouTube).
As PCGamer writes, he and his partner openly acknowledged in current videos that they use aim-bots.
This is what it is about: Activision Blizzard sees how difficult it is to advertise with individuals. Because even a hardware ban can apparently be circumvented by replacing hardware. Maybe the cheater is also using particularly sophisticated programs to mask the hardware.
It was apparently a mistake to trust a cheater and deliberately advertise with him. Even though his statement fits well with Activision Blizzard’s intention to clearly signal: “We understand you, we are taking strong action.”
The fight against cheaters is probably not so easy to win.
Why is cheating such a huge issue in CoD Warzone? Practically all popular free-to-play games suffer from cheaters: When they are banned, they simply create new accounts.
In Call of Duty: Warzone, the problem is particularly severe because Activision Blizzard apparently has not installed a good anti-cheat protection. Therefore, cheaters have been a huge issue since the release of the battle royale mode:
A fancy WoW mount is only available if you play a bit of Hearthstone. We will tell you what you need to do and when.
In World of Warcraft you will soon be able to grab a new, cool mount – at least if you can warm up to playing a bit of Hearthstone. Blizzard is doing a new cross-promotion between its games and likely wants to help both franchises.
What kind of mount is it? The mount is the rat Sarge. Visually, this mount strongly resembles “Squeakers, the Trickster,” which is already available for purchase in the WoW shop. However, Sarge has some other details, such as a different saddle, a different harness, and various applications that strongly remind of Hearthstone – for instance, a card pack as a saddlebag on one side and the Hearthstone game board on the other.
What needs to be done? To unlock Sarge for your WoW account, you need to play and successfully complete the intro experience of the new “Mercenaries” mode in Hearthstone. This is essentially the tutorial for the new game mode. Generally, intro experiences in Hearthstone don’t take much time – these missions usually take around 30 to 40 minutes to complete.
Sarge always carries a Hearthstone game board.
When will this be possible? You can unlock the rat Sarge as soon as the Mercenaries game mode in Hearthstone is released. This will happen on October 12, 2021, probably in the early evening hours.
More news about World of Warcraft can be found here:
So, if you want to add a cute rat to your mount collection, you might want to install Hearthstone – after all, this mount looks really fancy.
What do you think about this cross-promotion and the mount? Will you unlock Sarge and roam through Azeroth with him? Or is this mount not worth a detour into Hearthstone for you?

The new Mercenaries mode in Hearthstone is quite complicated, but also very extensive. It’s basically a whole new game.
Hearthstone has announced a new game mode that is primarily aimed at fans of “rogue-like” games. The “Mercenaries” game mode appears to be quite complex at first glance and differs drastically from the usual Hearthstone experience. It is fundamentally a whole new game – and requires entirely new card packs.
What is this mode about? Basically, the Mercenaries mode has little to do with the original concept of Hearthstone. So say goodbye to your collection or the usual flow of a match.
Instead of playing with a full deck, you play with a selection of 6 Mercenaries, of which you can have 3 on the battlefield at a time. Mercenaries have attack power and health points, and can also be equipped with gear and use various abilities.
How does a turn play out? The interesting thing about the Mercenaries mode is that all actions from both sides are selected simultaneously. There is a “planning phase” where both you and your opponent (whether it’s PvE or PvP) choose everything your Mercenaries will do in the upcoming turn. This can be a simple attack or the use of an ability.
So ‘simple’ a turn plays out.
The order in which the attacks are resolved depends on the “speed” value of each action. Small, simpler abilities have a speed of 1-5 and act relatively early. Large, devastating spells take more time and are used later, having a speed of 6, 7, or even higher.
This leads to many tactical considerations. Because if your spell-casting Mercenary gets killed before it can use its big attack, it will obviously have no effect.
Thus, the mode is very strategic – but also a bit chaotic, as you never see ahead of time what attacks the enemy has selected.
What is the deal with the Mercenaries? Mercenaries are various “heroes”. At the start of the mode, there should be 50 different ones. 8 can be unlocked by players for free through the intro experience, while more Mercenaries can be earned or purchased directly in the shop.
Tyrande is one of the Mercenaries – she is considered “epic”.
Each Mercenary belongs to one of three “classes”:
Fighters are green and use strong abilities to deal damage. Their damage against spellcasters is doubled.
Spellcasters are blue. They use powerful spells, including strong healing. They have less attack power but deal double damage to protectors.
Protectors are basically tanks and marked in red. They spread buff effects and taunt enemies to absorb damage. Their damage against fighters is doubled.
All Mercenaries have different abilities and gear that can be earned and upgraded during the adventures. Additionally, Mercenaries have a permanent level – your team will thus become stronger over the weeks and months.
Where does the mode take place? The Mercenaries mode doesn’t just get a new menu item, but a whole new graphical interface – a complete Mercenary camp. There, you will find various buildings, such as the tavern or the shop, which you can build and expand over time. This is done with gold.
You have to build the Mercenary camp gradually – with gold.
The buildings then give you access to more and more features – such as PvP or stronger missions, where even better gear awaits.
Diablo joins as a new Mercenary: The announcement that Diablo will also participate in the Mercenaries mode was quite unexpected. He actually comes from a completely different franchise, so he has little place in Hearthstone – but when it comes to demons, Mercenaries, and chaos, the red villain must not be missing.

The community is confused and has hardly understood anything
If you take a look at the Hearthstone subreddit and various forums, there is almost everywhere a lack of clarity and confusion. The big gameplay reveal stream was well received by only a few people and was completely overloaded.

It seems like [the stream] was made and accepted by people who have been playing this game mode extensively for the last few months and are immersed in it.
It completely went over our heads. We were just trying to learn the alphabet, and they gave us Shakespeare.
There is still time until launch, hopefully this will be clarified through more communication.
A lot of Hearthstone fans in the community share this opinion. Some even felt reminded of the presentation of the card game Artifact. Stanob writes:
This reminded me of the first stream for Valve’s Artifact. It was the first time the public got to see gameplay and how the game works, and a lot of people were really hyped for the game. Then the introductory stream was led by people who had played the game for months and jumped straight into deep strategies when 99% of the audience had absolutely no idea how the game actually works or what the individual cards do.
More current news about Hearthstone can be found here:
The only thing that was obvious to all players was: You can pre-order it and already throw a lot of money into the mode, even though it will be released on October 12, 2021. In total, there are 3 different pre-order packages, each costing €50 or €30. If you buy all 3 packages, you have to put down a whopping €130 on the virtual table.
What do you think of the presentation and the game mode? Are you also confused? Or did you understand everything immediately? What’s your opinion on the new mode?
