The transmog system in World of Warcraft is being revised again. Costs are decreasing and there are many more options.
For some, it is a completely boring feature, for others, it is the true endgame of World of Warcraft: transmog. Collecting the various outfits and equipping one’s character can take many hours or days. Accordingly, an important part of the community values the major overhaul of the system in Midnight. After initial, devastating criticism, Blizzard quickly backtracked and corrected mistakes. Now the developers are even going further and drastically reducing prices.

WoW Midnight shows gameplay – All new features
What was the criticism? When the new transmog system was introduced in the beta of Midnight, there was a lot of criticism. Because saving a new set – that is, transmogging the entire character – cost around 6,000 gold. Also, unlocking new outfit slots was quite expensive. A hefty 800,000 gold had to be paid to unlock all 20 slots, on each character individually.
What will be changed? In a forum post, Blizzard has now extensively commented on the entire transmog topic. New changes were discussed that should satisfy almost all fans. From now on:
The number of unlockable outfit slots will be increased from 20 to 50. You can store many more sets than before.
The cost of unlocking outfit slots will decrease by 80%. Instead of 800,000 gold, you will now need to pay just around 160,000 gold for the first 20 slots.
The cost of saving a complete set – that is, a whole transmog – will decrease by 60%. This corresponds to a reduction from nearly 6,000 gold to around 2,400 gold. Thus, transmogging a whole set is still more expensive than currently, but fits well into the new system, where you save a lot.
What do the changes mean? The innovations will make transmog significantly cheaper in the future and allow much more individual customization than before. Besides the numerous permanently stored sets that can be switched to for free after setup, there is also a new system where conditions can be set for when to automatically switch to a new set. So it will be significantly cheaper to wear the stylish chain bikinis in the future…

The community of PC gamers and Steam fans is currently filled with hopeful anticipation of receiving news of a sequel to the beloved Half-Life series in the near future. On Reddit, they share why they love the game so much. But some people from the editorial team are also reminiscing about fond memories.
Why do players love Half-Life so much? On Reddit, an old picture of Gabe Newell from 1998 triggered a wave of nostalgia with fond memories and admiration for Valve’s shooter. The photo shows him playing Half-Life seven months before its official launch.

On November 19, the game turned 27 years old, evoking a lot of emotions in many players, which they expressed on Reddit:
“27 years later, and it is still an absolute gem. One of the few games that I love to play every few years, and I have a fantastic time every time,” writes HoveringPorridge on Reddit. V2CucumberScam also fondly remembers his experiences in the game: “Half-Life is one of those games where you not only remember that you played it. You remember exactly the room, the PC, the sound card, and how your world suddenly felt larger. Legendary.”
The editors and authors of MeinMMO and Gamestar also recall Half-Life and explain what they love so much about the game.
Here you can see the trailer for Half-Life 2:

Half Life 2 – Trailer
Half-Life was groundbreaking back then, as our editors remember
What do we say about it? Many editors and authors of MeinMMO and GameStar responded to a call and shared what they associate with Half-Life. They recognize not only the milestones that Half-Life set, but it also takes them back many years. They share what the game meant to them at that time: Within minutes, the chat filled with joyful contributions.
“I stood at Saturn right on the release of HL1 to finance the game along with a new PC that finally had enough power for it. Unfortunately, paying directly was not possible as a civilian service worker. Financing was also not possible, as I learned that day. Note: Gordon Freeman was my teacher in financial matters […] in 2025 it was time to show that to my son. We played Black Mesa together, and it was grand. Then HL2 followed. And then Alyx. Gordon now has one more fresh fan.” (Dennis Ziesecke)
“The AI of the soldiers is absolutely legendary and could compete with most other shooter NPCs even today… they sought cover, called for reinforcement, coordinated retreats, threw grenades surprisingly well, and communicated the player position in real-time by radio, which is truly amazing for 1998.” (Philipp Elsner)
“What distinguishes Half-Life is the fact that it never takes you out of the first-person perspective and fully focuses on immersion. You are truly a part of the story instead of just watching cutscenes; you can often even walk around – that was groundbreaking back then together with the many scripted sequences. Even the whole beginning with Black Mesa was innovative, such as the fact that you don’t hold a weapon in your hands until after 15 minutes.” (Peter Bathge)
“Back then, the huge tentacle boss really got to me because I found it so scary! I learned years later that you could probably also do it stealthily?! Generally, the monster design is just very cool. With the headcrabs or the creatures in the scientist’s coat or this giant weird flying baby with the enormous head! And of course, the intro with the train is legendary! How you pass through this facility for the first time and let everything affect you before you are thrown into the chaos.” (Natalie Schermann)
You had to deal with these creatures in Half-Life (Source: Reddit)
“I actually ordered the US import version back in 1998 after the GameStar review made me so curious about the game, even though I wasn’t really a big shooter fan. But storytelling and scripted sequences were truly mind-blowing for the time, which is why I played through it like in a trance.” (Heiko Klinge)
And our editor-in-chief Leya connects the game with her childhood:
You almost shouldn’t tell it… but I played Half-Life 1 at release when I was still a child. My older brothers made it possible on the family computer.
I still remember how cool it felt to run around with the crowbar and smash everything that looked somewhat scary. It quickly became my declared favorite weapon, which I swung passionately through the late parts of the game. I even received appreciation from my older brothers for how I fought my way through the game with the crowbar.
Half-Life 1 is a beautiful childhood memory for me of a time when we all still didn’t quite know what we were doing, but we just loved playing – even my parents. I even sat on their lap while they watched me smash monsters with the crowbar and had fun too.
Although this milestone in game development evokes nostalgic feelings for many people in the editorial team, this is not true for everyone – because for some authors and editors of MeinMMO, the game appeared at a time when they were still too young – or (as in the case of the editor of this article) didn’t exist at all yet.
In that case, a Half-Life 3 could be a nice opportunity for the younger generation to give this beloved series a chance.
The dark atmosphere from Half-Life 1 and 2 and the nasty monsters that our editor shattered with the crowbar made the world in Half-Life a pretty nasty dystopia that you definitely wouldn’t want to live in. It also made it a legitimate candidate for this list, where various apocalyptic scenarios vie for the top spot: In games, the world is constantly ending: The 5 worst apocalypses in gaming ranked

There are hardly any television families as iconic as the Simpsons. Since 1989, the chaos from Springfield has shaped pop culture. In 2009, the series even ventured far and collaborated with a well-known adult magazine.
The Simpsons have been on air since their debut in the USA on December 17, 1989, with around 37 seasons and 798 episodes produced, and new ones are still released annually. The series still addresses pop culture and social issues today, humorously poking fun at stereotypes from the USA.
Unlike later shows like Family Guy or South Park, the Simpsons were not just aimed at an older audience. It was like a sitcom that you could watch with the whole family because multiple members of the Simpsons were in the spotlight. There were jokes for adults, but younger viewers could also follow the individual episodes and humor.
However, for the 20th anniversary of the series, there was a rather unusual collaboration in 2009. The innocent Marge Simpson landed on the cover of Playboy, an adult magazine.

The Simpsons – The Trailer for the TV Premiere of Season 35
Satirical Appearance in Playboy
Marge Simpson in Playboy? As reported by The Hollywood Reporter in 2009, the Playboy magazine was not doing well. Sales figures had been declining since 2006. With the collaboration with the Simpsons, they aimed to reach a younger audience in their 20s, without alienating the old readers. At that time, the average age of readers was in their mid-30s.
Therefore, Marge Simpson was not only dedicated the cover of the November issue but also several pages, including facts and a fictitious interview. To reach more people, they collaborated with the supermarket chain 7-Eleven, which sold the special edition in stores. It was only the second time in the chain’s history that they sold the magazine in stores.
7-Eleven is also present in the Simpsons universe as a parody. The shop owner Apu works at the Kwik-E-Mart, which serves as the show’s equivalent to the real supermarket.
Why did the Simpsons do this? There is a pretty simple answer: attention. The 20th anniversary was a good occasion for such a PR collaboration. Marge was the first cartoon character to make it onto the cover of the magazine. Countless news sites around the world reported on this in 2009. After all, almost everyone has heard of the Simpsons.
The interviews and facts were taken with humor in the magazine itself. While there were more explicit images, the interview felt as if it came from the series (via TikTok):
Marge explains she is doing this only for a good cause
She thanks Homer for lying that he doesn’t know the magazine
She explains that she walks around the house throwing away all the adult magazines
Additionally, there were relationship tips thanks to her experience with Homer
During the interview, they also promoted the episode The Devil Wears Nada (Season 21, Episode 5). In the episode, Marge poses for charity for a calendar and then becomes the talk of the town.
Was the Playboy appearance criticized in the real world? In reality, not everyone responded positively to the unusual collaboration. The controversial and strongly conservative Christian organization American Family Association (Source: csnews.com) criticized 7-Eleven’s decision to sell the issue in stores. They wrote:
It is irresponsible of 7-Eleven to display [pornographic material] in front of children who come to 7-Eleven to buy a hotdog or a Slurpee. A cartoon is appealing to children. Playboy, 7-Eleven, and Fox allow this.
Despite the criticism from conservative sides, the special issue managed to gain quite a bit of attention and is now a collector’s item. Anyone wanting to get the magazine today pays over 100 € on platforms like eBay.
Sarah Churchwell, a lecturer in American literature and culture, criticized the collaboration less bluntly in 2009 at the Guardian. The series often tackles feminism and women’s roles with Marge and Lisa.
Churchwell mentions the episode about the Barbie parody Malibu Stacy or a scene from the series where they criticize the objectification of women in advertising. Exactly what Marge did with the Playboy appearance, which ultimately only aimed to appeal to a younger audience.
The Twitch streamer Metashi12 is currently planning a large Twitch event with Papaplatte and HandOfBlood in WoW. Now he reveals who will be participating and how it will go.
What is this event about? After the tremendous success of the international “OnlyFangs” project on Twitch, the German streamers also want to conquer World of Warcraft in hardcore mode.
Now streamer Metashi12 has provided new information about the event and revealed who will be participating.
You can learn more about HandOfBlood here:

HandOfBlood: The most important thing about the YouTuber and Twitch streamer in under a minute
227 confirmations and HandOfBlood is also on board
Who is participating? In the new video, Metashi12 talks about the event and explains that they already have 227 confirmations for the event. Overall, however, they anticipate that over 300 streamers will participate at the same time.
The event is not only organized by Metashi12 himself, but also by Twitch streamer HandOfBlood, who stands out with creative actions such as the founding of his own metal label. Papaplatte is also part of the organizing team. He is known for his closeness to fans, which sometimes goes too far for him.
In addition to the organizers, Twitch streamer eliasn97 is also involved, the largest German streamer who has had little to do with WoW so far. Other Twitch stars like Montanablack, Zarbex, Paluten, PietSmiet, and NoWay are on the guest list. In the video on YouTube, Metashi12 also names dozens of other well-known names known from Twitch.
How is the preparation going? To make the event a success, Metashi12 has been in contact with the WoW developers at Blizzard. They have offered two months of game time for all participating streamers, which shocked the event’s organizer himself.
He questions in the video whether the company understands how much advertising it is for World of Warcraft when over 300 streamers participate in such an event. He had hoped for more from the collaboration, which, besides the game time, only consists of extra support aimed at preventing trolls from specifically hunting and eliminating the streamers.
When does the event start? The Twitch event will start on December 27, 2025, on all Twitch channels and will run at least until January 10, 2026 (or earlier, if all players should die). However, the exact goals and dates may still change and are currently being worked out.

You can find the full patch notes with all new features and details on soulframe.com.
The armors and the Paragon greatsword of the founder packs from Soulframe.
What about the founder packs? They allow you to gain access to the current version of the fantasy MMO (plus 2 friend codes each) and receive some additional content. The founder packs come in 4 variants:
Wyld Tethren: 28.99 Euro
Wyld Sirin: 28.99 Euro
Wyld Oscelda: 28.99 Euro
Paragon: 99 Euro
The first 3 packs each offer their own variants of a founder gear, plus skins for your Spirit Guide, talisman, name embellishments, and more. Each version also includes a special weapon skin for Warframe, access to a merch store for founders, 1,000 Arcs, and 10 Moonsteel Threads.
The more expensive Paragon variant offers, in addition to the content of the other 3 founder packs, some cosmetic variants, the Paragon greatsword, 4 additional bonus codes for friends, and a bonus for Arcs (totalling 3,500) and Moonsteel Threads (totalling 45). You can find all further details on soulframe.com.
What do I need to know about Soulframe? The new project from the creators of Warframe was first presented at TennoCon 2022 and is currently in an early alpha testing phase. The developers themselves describe Soulframe as a “free-to-play open-world adventure” with a fantasy setting.
The gameplay shown so far resembles – in terms of atmosphere and battles – somewhat the Souls games from From Software. However, the developers insist, that despite the name there are many more differences than similarities. The world is not so dark, the battles are not so punishing. Soulframe is supposed to be even less hardcore than Warframe.
Due to the multiplayer content and Warframe roots, the term MMO often comes up with this action title. The developers themselves avoid the MMO designation. That there is a good reason for this is shown in our preview report: I played about 25 hours of Soulframe and can tell you: This is not an MMO

Pokémon GO shows its new season in the trailer
Incorrect text causes wasted candies
What was the error? The error concerns the final steps of the special research on Keldeo, which were recently released. In step 7 of 8, you will receive the task to perform 30 power-ups on Pokémon.
In New Zealand, where new updates and content for Pokémon GO always appear first, the task initially had a different description. There it stated that trainers should perform 30 power-ups specifically on Keldeo, which costs not only a lot of stardust but also the valuable Keldeo candies.
Since Keldeo is a mythical Pokémon that you cannot catch in the wild or in raids to obtain additional candies, power-ups on this Pokémon are particularly rare and valuable.
If you use the Pokémon as your buddy, you can receive additional candies – however, you normally need to walk 20 km to get one single candy. If you also use the item Knursp, you still need to cover 10 km for one candy.
It is understandably frustrating when candies are used for power-ups that are not necessary. Additionally, this may cause Keldeo to exceed the CP limits for certain battle leagues where trainers might have wanted to use the Pokémon.
What does the community say about this? Trainers who have already leveled up their Keldeo to complete the special research and used the candies they received during the research are understandably upset.
“I have already powered Keldeo up 28 times this morning (Kiwi here) and I am super-grumpy” remarks Aggresive-Art-130.
“Me too 28 times and I ran out of candy…” replies Bexapocalypse to the previous comment.
“So am I. Been doing all those candy quests the last few months just to have to dump them into a bad iv keldeo, only for them to switch up after the fact” replies iluvugoldenblue.
“Same boat, really disappointed in the waste of candy and stardust for something broken. My keldeo was not high enough stat for that to be worth it. This is one of the times I really hope we get some kind of *genuine* compensation” writes eggs-pedition.
Will there be compensation? Whether the affected trainers will be compensated and in what form is still unknown.
A campaign is coming soon to Kickstarter, focusing on an ambitious MMORPG called Epitome. The game is set to place a strong focus on an immersive world and lifelike NPCsand aims to take one strength of the role-playing hit Where Winds Meet to the next level.
What kind of game is Epitome? Epitome is an upcoming MMORPG that aims to fund itself through a Kickstarter campaign starting in January 2026. It presents itself as an ambitious project and seeks to set new standards as a kind of “next-gen MMO.”
Instead of just impressing with big promises, the team behind Epitome P.S.A., which includes some experienced developers from the AAA sector who have worked on games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Metro Exodus, has already developed a foundation that supporters of the project will be able to play directly.
The core features of the early version are expected to include the following:
Massive servers with space for 33,000 concurrent players, where you can meet and battle
4 playable classes at launch: Warrior, Ninja, Shaman, and Necromancer
Each with 2 subclasses and 6 skills each
An advanced anti-cheat system and a clear stance against pay-to-win
A large open-world map with 4 biomes and 2 cities
Gameplay up to level 20
Over 70 equipment items
Over 100 enemy types
Diverse core gameplay mechanics such as a friends system, trading system, dungeons, bosses, quests, transport systems, and much more.
Throughout the campaign, additional exciting features are expected to be introduced, which will also leverage a strength that has already resonated well with players in the new role-playing hit Where Winds Meet.
Here you can get a first impression of the pre-alpha version:
Start video
Ambitious MMORPG Epitome shows in the Pre-Alpha trailer what it wants to convince players with
This strong feature will also be utilized by Epitome to create lifelike NPCs that can interact with the player as realistically as possible and influence the environment. Their AI companions are expected to accompany players on quests, help them, and build realistic relationships with them.
Additionally, your choices and actions are expected to impact the development of your companions and influence the story. The developers emphasize that AI technology will only be used for the NPCs and will otherwise only be utilized for voice-to-voice chat and AI-driven quests. All other elements of the MMORPG are entirely conceived and developed by humans and will continue to be so in the future.
What else is planned to be added during the campaign? In addition to the clear focus on a lively world with lifelike NPCs, further content and features are also set to take center stage:
AI assassin guilds and AI bounty hunters that you can also bribe
8 additional maps with 9 different worlds that you will be able to explore
A maximum level of 99 for now
An open world with globe-simulation, with 3 layers: Terra, Nether & Aether
There will also be tons of epic dungeons, more bosses, world bosses, a guild system, a pet system, a shapeshifting system, mining and fishing systems, a crafting system, water and air updates, character customization, and a mount taming system, depending on how well the campaign performs.
The development is also expected to be heavily guided by player feedback, which is another reason why there will be a pre-alpha version of the game available at the start of the campaign.
A young man buys a website for 20 euros, today he owns a company with millions in revenue. However, his current dream job was heavily criticized by family and acquaintances at the time.Because trades have a hard time in Singapore.
The cover image is a symbolic image.
Working in the office of a large tech company was a long-time dream for many young people. That was also the wish of a young man from Singapore. However, instead of sitting in an office, he is today the owner of a craft business with a profit of 1.1 million euros. Meanwhile, there is a trend among the older part of Generation Z, to turn away from studying and rather pursue practical trades.
The start of the business began with a domain name for a website, which cost the man around 20 euros at that time. The young entrepreneur tells the magazine CNBC.com, which has verified the story.
The now 26-year-old Zames Chew runs the Singapore-based service Repair.sg. His services include, among other things, repairs, plumbing, electrical work, and ventilation. In 2024, the company achieved a revenue of 1.7 million Singapore dollars, which is about 1.1 million euros.

At 16, he discovers a market gap and buys a website
How did it all begin? At the age of 16, Chew bought a domain name for a website for 30 Singapore dollars (about 20 euros), got help from his father in registering the company, and founded Repair.sg. As a reason for this idea, he mentioned in the conversation with CNBC that he could not find a handyman for his parents online at that time:
When I was younger, it was always my dream to work in a big tech company. But one day, in early 2016, I discovered a market gap.
Our parents were looking for a service provider who could fix something in the house. I just searched online, and … back then there seemed to be no service providers [online]. So I thought to myself … I’ll just create a website and see what happens.
In the first years, the company progressed only slowly, and it was repeatedly financially tight, Chew reports. It wasn’t until Chew and his brother, whom he brought in as a co-founder, turned Repair.sg from their hobby into a fully-fledged company that it began to grow and expand. The two also decided against studying in order to concentrate on the business instead. A decision for which they were long criticized.
When we started talking [to customers] … they told us directly to our faces: ‘You are still children. You should be learning in school and not doing this type of work. This is something for people who haven’t made it in life.’
Nevertheless, he and his brother stuck to their idea. At first only secretly and then eventually officially. Chew stated that he is still glad today that he never gave up his job. Moreover, he can work with his brother, which matters most to him, more than the bad reputation of his profession.
The release of a new part of the Heroes of Might and Magic series is slated for 2026. A demo was already released in October on Steam, where players are spending hundreds of hours.

Each faction has its own strengths, weaknesses, and play styles as well as special abilities. You need to expand cities, explore the randomly generated map, and conquer battles against the enemy factions.
What is included in the demo? On October 9, 2025, a demo on Steam was released, with which players can have many hours of fun. The developers have provided a small overview of what is included so far:
A series of tutorials with a wide variety of challenges to introduce you to the game
Quick start mode
4 factions (Temple, Necropolis, Dungeon, and Schism)
Three modes (Arena, Single Hero, Multiple Heroes) and three templates for single hero or multiple hero mode
The rating of the demo is 78% positive, with over 4,000 votes.

Players are already sinking hundreds of hours into Olden Era
Why is a demo played so much? According to the CEO of the developers Unfrozen, Denis Fedorov, there are players who have already spent up to 200 hours in the demo of Olden Era.
He cites the random map generator as the reason, as it is said to provide incredible and likely unlimited replay value. Furthermore, he states that you won’t get bored with the various layouts and that the multiplayer is also built around the random generator.
What do the reviews say on Steam? Some players have also written reviews on Steam after spending many hours playing the demo.
The user Prof. Ambronsius writes on Steam after almost 100 hours that Olden Era is clearly the best representative of the series for him and that he is having more fun with the demo than with some AAA titles, giving a clear recommendation to buy the game.
Also, the user Gorilla shares his opinion on Steam. According to him, the developers are very close to perfecting the game. There are still some small issues here and there, but the game is just in the demo phase. Additionally, Olden Era takes some great aspects from the third part of the series and expands them in the new game.
Are there any negative opinions about Olden Era? Yes, there are also negative voices that portray the game as unnecessarily complex, and there are still issues in some areas, such as the music or the new mechanics.

He then asked ChatGPT if it was bad to stream with a hoarse voice for 5 days. The AI supposedly drew a comparison, saying it was like Trymacs wanting to run a marathon with a broken foot.
The viewers were immediately reminded by the sound of his voice of a situation about 4 years ago when Trymacs was also hoarse and also played Farming Simulator on Twitch with GTime. This resulted in a popular clip about Trymacs:

NCsoft has recently shown the first gameplay for the new MMORPG Horizon Steel Frontiers. This suggests that they have borrowed the setting and gameplay from Sony’s single-player blockbuster Horizon Forbidden West. And it is now available cheaper than ever on Steam. Sophia Weiss believes that the game is definitely worth buying.
What games is the MMORPG based on? Horizon Steel Frontiers is currently being developed by NCsoft in South Korea and is based on Sony’s Horizon universe. This currently includes two single-player games originally for PS4 and PS5.
Both games are now available on Steam and both are currently discounted by 40%. Horizon Zero Dawn is currently available in the Remastered Complete Edition for 29.99 euros (via Steam). Forbidden West, the second part, in the Complete Edition is currently priced at 35.99 euros (via Steam) – the lowest Steam price so far for the game (via Steamdb.info)
The gameplay and setting of the MMORPG are based on Horizon Forbidden West according to the gameplay trailer with the grappling hook, weapon selection, and setting. You can check how the game is currently progressing here:

Cavemen vs. War Machines – This is Horizon
What is Horizon anyway? The Horizon universe belongs to Sony and started as PlayStation exclusives. The two single-player games were developed by Guerrilla. The story revolves around the hunter Aloy, who grows up as a half-orphan in a world full of hunters, gatherers, and early settlers. The perfect Stone Age setting, if it weren’t for the hyper-modern and often malevolent machines of unknown origin.
In Horizon Zero Dawn, Aloy investigates the mystery of why the world is as it is and tries to find out where she herself actually comes from. The second part shifts the plot westward – hence the name: Horizon Forbidden West.
Basically, Horizon takes place on the North American continent. In the first part, it is still subtle; in the second, however, one visits the ruins of fallen mega-cities like Las Vegas or Los Angeles. The MMORPG is said to take place in the so-called Deadlands, located in the regions of today’s US states of Arizona and New Mexico.
The gameplay is generally oriented towards that of Horizon: Forbidden West. The setting is also similar. So, if you want a first taste of Horizon Steel Frontiers, you are well served with Forbidden West. Even if you should, for full story understanding, play Zero Dawn first, it is not necessary.
For comparison with the gameplay of Steel Frontiers, we also have this for Forbidden West:

The setting and also the characters are just amazing to me. I love finding ruins of familiar places in the USA in the Forbidden West over and over again. The mecha-monsters are also really cool and give the world a unique touch.
From the story perspective, Zero Dawn is indeed stronger than the second part. However, the second part shines for me with the setting and the extended gameplay. The MMORPG trailer already shows that, for example, the pull-caster, a grappling hook, will be taken over and expanded. I find that quite neat.
When does the 3rd season of the successful series Hazbin Hotel start and what will it be about? We have gathered all the known info for you.
Hazbin Hotel thrilled audiences in 2025 with its 2nd season and significantly advanced the story around Charlie, the namesake hotel, heaven, and hell. However, the story is far from over, as many questions remain regarding characters like Alastor, Angel Dust, and Lilith. We have summarized all the information about Season 3 here.
You can watch the trailer for the current 2nd season of Hazbin Hotel here:

Hazbin Hotel hell series starts with Season 2
Will there be a Season 3 for Hazbin Hotel? Yes. A 3rd season of Hazbin Hotel has been confirmed since 2024. When the first season premiered, additional seasons were confirmed shortly thereafter, including the 3rd.
When will Season 3 of Hazbin Hotel be released? There is no release date yet. However, since the next season was produced alongside Season 2, the wait might be a bit shorter. Current speculations suggest a release no earlier than late 2026, more likely in 2027. The new season will again premiere on Amazon Prime.
Story Details for Hazbin Hotel Season 3
What is Season 3 of Hazbin Hotel about? According to creator Vivienne Medrano, there are already the following story insights for Season 3:
We will learn how Rosie became so powerful that she could easily name Alastor the “most powerful sinner of hell.”
Vox has not been definitively defeated and his story is not yet complete.
Lute will take on a larger role as an emerging antagonist.
In Season 3, Charlie is supposed to learn to listen to those around her and not let her own feelings and the desire to please everyone guide her. Trusting her friends will become more important.
A character who was previously seen as a “friendly face” will reveal their true motivations and become more of a nasty opponent.
Additionally, Season 3 is the part of the story that Medrano is most interested in and is looking forward to finally being able to tell. According to Medrano, the planned events in Season 3 are the very reason why Amazon gave the series a “green light. “
Charlie must continue to develop in Season 3.
How much more Hazbin Hotel is there?
How far along is the production of Season 3 of Hazbin Hotel? As early as July 2025, the recordings, meaning the spoken part of the dubbing work, were completed. This is typical for such series, where the texts and songs are recorded first, and then the animation work begins. Animation is the biggest time-consuming factor, so one should factor in another year or more here.
Will there be more seasons? Yes. As of now, a 4th season is also confirmed and is already in production. Creator Medrano expects that the story of Hazbin Hotel will conclude after 5 seasons. There is still no confirmation for the 5th and final season; that likely depends significantly on the success of the upcoming seasons. Why we think Hazbin Hotel is great, we could tell you after just 2 episodes of the latest season.

On Steama new co-op shooter starts today. It reminds gameplay-wise of a very specific part of the Doom series, visually more like World of Warcraft. As in any good raid, decent loot and huge bosses are waiting for you.
Which game is being talked about? It is Afterblast, a first-person shooter from developer Lumino Games. The game combines roguelite elements with randomly generated dungeons, which you can blast through alone or in co-op.
Afterblast releases today, on November 26, 2025, on Steam. The game starts in early access, meaning that it is not yet in its final state.
Here you can see a trailer for the game:

Neuer Koop-Shooter auf Steam sieht aus wie ein Mix aus Doom Eternal und World of Warcraft
What is the game about? You have been teleported to the realm of an evil god to save your home planet. Previously, you were blessed with immortality by your creator to ensure you achieve your goal – no matter how many times you have to try.
In the fight against the minions of the evil god, you collect a lot of gear with magical powers that influence your playstyle. With found crystals, you collect permanent bonuses that you retain even when your character kicks the bucket.
Shooter gameplay from Doom with graphics like in WoW
Why the comparison to Doom and WoW? Gameplay-wise, Afterblast in the previous trailers resembles Doom Eternal from 2020. Both games focus on a similarly fast pace, weakened enemies can be taken out with melee finishers, and there is again a grappling hook to pull yourself towards enemies.
Visually, Afterblast looks like someone rebuilt World of Warcraft in 2025, says a comment under the official gameplay trailer on YouTube. A certain resemblance cannot be denied: both games showcase a similarly stylized look and the color palette also resembles WoW.
The huge boss enemies you face in Afterblast also remind of the final boss of an MMORPG raid. Each collected boss soul increases difficulty and unlocks new challenges, as well as weapons and items.
Co-op games that take individual aspects from MMORPGs and turn them into standalone titles are currently quite popular on Steam. This is also the approach of Fellowship. Its developers have now revealed their plans for the future. More about this can be read here: Co-op game on Steam offers dungeons like in MMORPG, now reveals its future plans

Destiny 3 is reportedly in development according to a leaker known for information about Destiny 2 and Marathon.
What’s the information? About eight years after the release of Destiny 2, the leak account “Colony Deaks” reports that a sequel is in development at Bungie. In a post on X, it states:
“Destiny 3 is in an extremely early stage of development.”
The leakers intend to share more information about Destiny 3 and its development in the coming months, as soon as “things start taking shape.”

Destiny 2 zeigt in seinem neuesten ViDoc, was euch in Renegades erwartet
Skepticism is warranted, but generally reliable
Are the information reliable? Since it is a leak and not an official announcement from Bungie or Sony, the information should be viewed with a large amount of skepticism. Until there is an official statement from Bungie or undeniable evidence of the development publicly available, nothing can be taken for certain.
“Colony Deaks” is considered a reliable source for leaks about Destiny 2 and Marathon, the extraction shooter also developed by Bungie. The information has often proven accurate in the past.
For example, Colony Deaks had already revealed the grenade launcher “The Omnipresent” (via X) before the official announcement, which is available as loot from the Raid “The Eternal Desert” in the expansion “At the Edge of Destiny”.
Additionally, the English-language magazine TheGamePost was able to verify leaks from “Colony Deaks”.
What to expect in terms of a release? Not anytime soon. Since Bungie has not released an official announcement or a planned release date, no timeframe can be predicted. However, development only recently reportedly began, so a release is not expected for several years.
The development of Destiny 2 reportedly began shortly after the release of Destiny 1 in 2014, as Forbes reported at the time. The game was thus in development for about 3 years before release. A release of Destiny 3 would therefore be possible around 2028.
The developers of Hytale have shared a new, detailed video. In it, they introduce the Creative mode, which already has more features than Minecraft.
What kind of mode is this? Similar to Minecraft, Hytale offers a Creative gameplay mode. Here, players can focus on building without survival. They have access to all blocks as well as a flying mode, which allows them to fly through the world.
Unlike Minecraft, Hytale focuses on a more technical level. There are many special tools that make life much easier for experienced builders.
Here you can see current gameplay from Hytale:

Hytale shows 16 minutes of gameplay with the state from 2025, clarifying how exploring and fighting looks
Tools for all Creatives
What tools are available in Hytale? As the developers explain in their new video and accompanying blog post, there are numerous tools that make Hytale a dream for creative players. For example, there is the option to copy builds from one world to another, which is particularly useful for large servers.
There are also pre-made structures from the game. The so-called “Prefabs” provide a variety of locations like ruins, hot springs, or lava lakes that would otherwise be generated by the game but can also be placed using different brushes in various shapes. So for those who have always wanted a lava lake as a swimming pool, this will be a find.
Instead of just placing individual blocks, in Creative mode, you can also place complete spheres, pyramids, or large squares. You can also build mountains or dig trenches, all in just a few seconds.

What else sounds interesting? Not only builders are expected to enjoy Hytale, but also content creators. The game has a built-in camera mode called “Machinima”, which allows you to program camera movements to record films in the game.
Here, the camera can not only move along a predetermined route but also adjust the speed. The developers explain that many more features are planned for the future, on Hytale.com.
Since not all tools in Hytale currently have their own menu to make them visible to everyone, the developers have also provided an extensive help page with many commands. Here, dozens of options are hidden that can further enhance building and creativity in the game.
A user shows a colleague’s computer. However, the image is shocking. Few have seen such a sticky and dirty PC before.
What could be so terrible to see? A computer that a user posted on Reddit. There, you can see a PC glowing yellow, brown, and black on the inside, which has definitely seen better days. The thread starter writes only: “The fans are basically glued together with tar and dust sludge.”
Even community users who have seen a lot are quite astonished by the image and suspect that there isn’t much left to save. One user explains quite incredulously:
I used to smoke a lot myself, but my PC never looked like this. Like… I think the worst part was that it was a bit yellow on the inside.
Such cases happen repeatedly, that hardware is heavily stuck with tar and dust from smoking. Because the computer, whether it is on or under the table, “breathes” in the smoke’s fumes through the ventilation and thus unconsciously becomes a passive smoker. How that can look in the worst case is also shown by this user’s image.
If you want to quit smoking, the Federal Centre for Health Education offers an information portal. At Rauchfrei-Info.de, you will find all the important information on how to stop smoking and protect yourself and those around you in the future.

Valve presents the Steam Machine in the new trailer
Why should you regularly clean your computer? Dirt and dust clog access ways for air or your fans. This causes some components or parts to not dissipate heat properly and thus overheat.
In cases like the currently shown user’s PC, there may eventually be nothing more to do because dust and tar have become so strongly adhered and turned into a hard mass that cannot be removed with household means. As some users in the thread fear, you may only be able to throw away the hardware.
MeinMMO editor Niko likes Persona and he really likes action games. An action RPG from 2025 impressed him with both aspects. Currently, there is even a good discount.
What game is it? On June 19, 2025, just under 2 weeks after the release of the Nintendo Switch 2, Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army was released. As I was looking for new games for the console, I grabbed the RPG that mixes the demon mechanics from Persona and Shin Megami Tensei with an action RPG.
After just a few hours, I was fully into it, as collecting monsters like in Pokémon also suits an action game well because it creates a different dynamic than regular role-playing games.
Currently, you can get the game as part of the Black Friday on Steam, in the Nintendo eShop and in the PSN-Store with a discount of 30% and I can assure you: It’s worth it.

Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army – Trailer for the Action RPG
An Action RPG that kept me engaged until the end
What is Raidou Remastered? As the name suggests, the game is a remaster. The original was released in 2006 on the PS2.
You play as Raidou Kuzunoha, a detective from a long line of demon summoners. In the remaster, he must solve a case that the fate of Japan depends on. Unlike Persona or Shin Megami Tensei, this title does not rely on a turn-based combat system but rather on direct action.
As Raidou, you are not only armed with a sword, you have the ability to actively use spells and special abilities in combat. The combat system is not particularly complex, but offers minor combo opportunities that were sufficient for me throughout the entire gameplay time of nearly 20 hours.
As in other titles of the Megami Tensei universe, the focus of the combat is on the various demons that you must persuade to join you. You can obtain more powerful demons through the fusion function.
In combat, the demons act independently, but with the press of a button, you can have them perform abilities. This also involves a tactical component, as the demons have various abilities, buffs, and traits that are more useful depending on the enemy type.
But demons prove to be useful companions not only in combat.
You don’t just fight, but also work as a detective
What do you do outside of battles? As Raidou, you must solve various cases together with a talking cat. The story takes place in fictional Japan in the early 1930s. So you are right in the middle of industrialization. Accordingly, your weapons are rustic, as are the buildings and vehicles in the game world.
You solve the cases not only through your detective skills but also with the help of the many demons. Besides their attacks, they also have abilities that assist you in the game world. You can find hidden items and also manipulate NPCs.
As someone who doesn’t enjoy puzzles, I had fun with it, especially since you usually have funny dialogues with the demons that represent various personalities. Additionally, this makes the relatively linear game world a bit more lively.
I also enjoyed the story and the side quests. Thanks to the unique characters and villains, I always wanted to know how it continued. If you like silliness and absurd situations, you will particularly enjoy the game’s finale. Atmospherically, the game is somewhere between Persona and Shin Megami Tensei. It is less apocalyptic than Shin Megami Tensei, but since you don’t play as students, it is also somewhat more serious than the Persona games.
The pleasant length of the game prevents it from being tiring and creates a nice pacing. If you want more after the story, you can discover new demons in New Game Plus or complete the side quests. Completionist players will have plenty to do with over 120 demons even after the story.
I played Raidou Remastered on the Switch 2 and I had a lot of fun. Thanks to the hybrid console, I could grind in handheld mode when needed, and I defeated large bosses on the TV. The best part was that it is finally a title in the universe that does not take almost 100 hours to complete. However, you will still find enough: A dark Pokémon alternative on Steam is so good that I even bought the game 2 times

The first three episodes of “The Mighty Nein”, the new animated series from Critical Role, have already convinced fans and critics alike. MeinMMO editor Caro is also pleased with the strong start and hopes it continues that way.
I have been looking forward to it since the first announcement two years ago that after the success of Critical Role’s “The Legend of Vox Machina”, their second campaign “The Mighty Nein” would also receive an animated series. For two years, I have been excited to see my favorite heroes from Critical Role again. And now it is here, starting with three episodes at release and the first episode as an early preview the weekend before the official launch.
After years of waiting, I watched it right at the start and was excited yet slightly nervous: Hopefully, my favorite campaign from Critical Role won’t be ruined.
After the first three episodes, I can say with relief – the wait was worth it. Similar to the 100% of satisfied critic reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, I am incredibly happy with the direction that Critical Role and the team are taking with their new animated series. And not just because I find the implementation of the character presentations, the representation of magic, and the start into the story extremely successful, but because I finally have new material for friends who have absolutely no connection to Dungeons & Dragons. This series is particularly suitable for people who have no knowledge of the role-playing game.
Here you can see the trailer for The Mighty Nein on Amazon Prime with the original voices from Critical Role:

The trailer for Critical Role’s The Mighty Nein on Amazon Prime shows the first conflicts that the “heroes” have to struggle with
Critical Role surpasses its first Amazon hit with The Mighty Nein after just three episodes
The members of Critical Role expressed before the release that they want to make their new series not only make loyal fans happy but also welcome newcomers. For this goal, they were also willing to take a different approach than with The Legend of Vox Machina. And this new approach pays off completely.
Instead of starting directly with a connected group of adventurers, Critical Role uses the already released first three episodes as a kind of “Session Zero”: Filling it with content that clarifies things before the actual adventure (if one wants to explain it with D&D lingo.)
In The Legend of Vox Machina, it is clear from the first scene that the group already knows each other well. The heroes start in a typical tavern, receive tasks to complete, and face dragons – fans of Dungeons & Dragons will immediately understand what is going on.
Already in the first scene of the series, the heroes of Vox Machina are familiar with each other (source: YouTube)
However, The Mighty Nein does it differently: The extended episode duration allows for the space to get to know the characters better, understand their backgrounds, and the motivation for why they embark on the journey at all. The group must first find each other, and you are with them from the beginning, which means you can start with zero prior knowledge. And this has been the intended plan:
The main goal behind this was that we wanted to present it in such a way that whether you are a die-hard Mighty Nein fan, have seen all episodes of Critical Role, or are tuning into the show for the first time, we want to present it in a way that veteran fans and newcomers are on equal footing, and we hope to have something to offer for both.
– Travis Willingham in conversation with Prime Video on YouTube
I don’t want to stick my neck out with this statement, but this approach gives me a similar feeling to what I had as an absolute LoL noob watching Arcane on Netflix. I know absolutely nothing about League of Legends, yet I was immediately captivated by its animated series, as were many others who had just as little experience with the game.
The new series offers an easier entry point through its focus on the personal stories of the characters and doesn’t require knowledge of the universe, spells, classes, or races. However, it is a nice bonus that fans can look forward to – especially if you enjoy magic, like I do as a Warlock player, and can recognize the various spells and their level of detail in the series.
I have the feeling that The Mighty Nein is also more suitable for D&D newcomers than Vox Machina, even though both are based on the same role-playing game. Yes, my friends are also not sure about the typical “Have you heard about it? No, you don’t need prior knowledge. No, I won’t keep quiet.”
The Mighty Nein is darker, yet still retains its charm
While The Legend of Vox Machina uses the dynamics within the group and its humor to create a much brighter and wittier tone – although I don’t want to downplay the intense and emotional moments of the series – The Mighty Nein feels somewhat more grounded. Of course, the series still has its humor, especially through characters like Jester or Nott, but overall, the missions of the characters and their conflicts are significantly darker than those of the heroes from the first series.
Generally, the protagonists appear less heroic. They can be rough, act out of selfishness, and gradually find their way together, which can be seen well in the first episodes with Caleb and Nott.
The characters from The Mighty Nein can initially be described as less of a heroic adventuring group (source: YouTube)
Still, you can see the charm of the group, especially through Laura Bailey’s performance as Jester. The Tiefling is one of the most popular characters from Critical Role for a reason, and in the first episodes, even outsiders would quickly recognize why.
The Mighty Nein initially presents the group as individuals with their own conflicts before you can even recognize them as a group. This offers even more potential for character development, rather than watching an already established group in their heroic deeds. And while both approaches can be enjoyable, I am particularly excited to see how strangers become not only friends but also family.
Critical Role is a reason for many fans why they even became aware of Dungeons & Dragons, as they were able to get a first glimpse into the atmosphere and adventures of the role-playing game. The Legend of Vox Machina has also been an entry point for many who haven’t seen the streamed campaigns of Critical Role yet. I am convinced that The Mighty Nein will make many more newcomers fans of role-playing games.
At the latest, the characters of the campaigns, which can definitely be described as one of the biggest strengths and the heart of the stories, have made many curious individuals into loyal “Critters”. We present the protagonists of The Mighty Nein here on MeinMMO: The new series from Critical Role starts today on Amazon – Here are the Mighty Nein

After the surprise beta in early November, the announcement for Early Access on Steam follows: The MMO shooter Pioner is indeed set to launch in 2025, as promised by the developers.
When does Early Access start? Pioner will enter Early Access on Steam on December 16, 2025. This keeps the promise made by the developers of GFAGAMES to release the MMO shooter in a playable version this year.
MMORPG shooter Pioner reveals the date for early access on Steam in a new trailer
The Day Before, but better?!
What is Pioner for you as a game? The mixture of RPG, MMO shooter, and survival slightly resembles The Division, but introduces supernatural zombies. The Day Before was supposed to fill this gap 2 years ago and managed to build enormous hype beforehand. At times, the game was even the most wished-for title on Steam, but then disappointed those high expectations.
Since The Division 2 is barely being developed further and The Division 3 is still early in development, there is some demand for such a multiplayer shooter. Enter: Pioner, which according to the developers has already gathered more than 500,000 wishlist entries on Steam.
The MMO shooter is set in a post-apocalyptic world filled with various monsters, including creatures that resemble zombies. Apart from the story campaign, you can expect various activities like PvE missions, PvP arenas, events, and mini-games such as fishing and gambling.
With its strong focus on survival, Pioner aims to appeal to survival fans as well. If you are looking for more great games in the genre, you can find a large selection in our list: The 31 best survival games of 2025 for PS5, Steam, and Xbox.
