In Hyper Front, you select a playable character and then fight in teams to win individual rounds. The goal is to plant a bomb using your hero’s unique abilities or to prevent the bomb from being planted.
Between rounds, you can improve your loadout by purchasing weapons, armor, or abilities. The money for a weapon is received at the end of a round, depending on whether you won or lost. Kills and planting/defusing the bomb also affect the amount of money you receive.
Allegation of copyright infringement
What kind of lawsuit is this? As reported by the online magazine Polygon.com, Riot Games has filed a lawsuit against NetEase, the publisher of Hyper Front. The shooter infringes on the copyright of Riot Games’ tactical shooter Valorant.
According to Polygon, Riot is expected to bring the case to courts in the UK, Germany, Brazil, and Singapore. It is also stated that the lawsuits may differ slightly in the various countries and be adjusted to the respective copyright laws, yet the main object of the allegations is that Hyper Front copies parts of Valorant.
How does the shooter resemble Valorant? Hyper Front visually resembles Riot Games’ shooter Valorant very closely. Both the design of the maps including the gray-green boxes and the design of the characters remind one of the tactical shooter.
Similarly, this applies to the weapons and abilities of the heroes. For example, there is a kind of “Omen” who can teleport or a “Sova” who shoots a scout arrow.

The YouTube streamer Ludwig combined boxing and the game “Super Smash Bros.” in a live event and reached 270,000 viewers. What kind of event it was and which record he broke will be revealed on MeinMMO.
What kind of event is this? The event is titled “Moguls Chessboxing Championship” and is a hybrid sports event that combines chess and boxing.
The event was broadcast on the night of Sunday, December 11, 2022, to Monday on Ludwig’s YouTube channel.

You can best gain reputation through regularly occurring events, such as the Siege of the Dragoncurse Fortress, the Feast of Iskaara, or the Great Hunt, as well as through world quests, side quests, and reputation items that you can turn in repeatedly.
The crafting professions also receive additional recipes from the same factions, but at different reputation levels. On Sunday, the Calpheon Ball took place for the first time in America. An event where the MMORPG Black Desert gives a glimpse into the future of the game. There were also news about the Twin Classes and PC players can breathe easy.
What are the Twin Classes? A few weeks ago, the two Twin Classes for Black Desert were announced. These are two sisters who are connected through their story, but play completely differently.
One leads the magical power of a fox into battle, while the other is armed with a fan in an Asian style. The two classes were supposed to be released almost simultaneously, but not on the same system, which annoyed many players.
Why was that annoying? Black Desert is now widely spread, not only in global game versions, but also in versions for different systems. In addition to the PC version of BDO, there are also versions for PlayStation and Xbox and for some time now also for iOS and Android.
These versions run independently of each other and have access to a different pool of classes. The PC version usually has the most content, closely followed by the consoles and then the mobile variant.
The developers wanted to counter this and announced that they would offer the Twin Classes as a model for different versions. One of the classes was to be available only on PC and console, while the others would only be in the mobile version of Black Desert. This disturbed many PC fans.

What was just announced? Apparently, the voices of the annoyed PC fans reached the developers. Because on Sunday at the Calpheon Ball, it was announced that the mobile-exclusive class will also come to the PC version in January.
On the other hand, that doesn’t work the other way around, so the PC class will not initially come to Black Desert Mobile.
If everything goes according to the developers’ plans, the new class will be released on PC on December 14 and on mobile on December 13. The mobile class will then come to PC in January 2023. Thus, PC players of Black Desert will then receive 2 new classes in 2 months.
What else is coming? The second major novelty at the Calpheon Ball is the new area set to be added to BDO next year. The “Land of the Morning Light” is, in keeping with the new classes, inspired by a very Asian style.
Apart from that, it comes with a special feature; it completely does without normal monsters or farming zones, instead, PvE fans will be offered challenging boss fights. 8 different bosses are supposed to be present in the area at launch.
They are designed so that you can defeat them alone. They should all also have a guild mode where you can face them with multiple players, but the mechanics will be more challenging for that.

An old perk from Call of Duty made its return in Modern Warfare 2 and seems quite nice at first glance: You can get back up after being taken down. But for many players, this ability means nothing more than total frustration.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 faced a lot of criticism for its gameplay decisions. Especially the players who play a lot in the shooter criticize a progressive “casualization” – they do not want CoD to become easier, there should be so-called “skill gaps”.

Which change from Season 19 is currently exciting the players? So far, most activities in Destiny 2 can be divided into two categories.

Destiny 2: Lightfall – Trailer Game Awards
Instead of nerfing builds or weapons, Destiny 2 has simply raised the difficulty of the seasonal challenge overall this time. Minus 5 power levels may not sound like much, but it seems to be sufficient to keep activities challenging in the long term. In combination with champions and the variety of enemies, the seasonal activity always feels challenging.
How was it before? In Season 18, it did not matter whether you had blue standard gear or a painstakingly unlocked and then crafted endgame weapon and a perfect gear build. It simply wasn’t important, and many players therefore did not bother with the effort.
Meanwhile, the player Lankygit in the Destiny 2 subreddit reports, however, that it feels weak since this Season 19 to engage the enemies with a random pulse rifle. However, his painstakingly crafted pulse rifle “Pain of Merain” from the Kingsfall raid does the job excellently and noticeably better.

What does the future bring? In August MeinMMO reported after a leak that the annoying power level grind might soon no longer be necessary. At that time, Liz from the Twitter channel Destiny Leaks shared that Bungie is allegedly already working on it.
Now, this small power level change of the seasonal activity from Season 19 could further support this claim. Allegedly, Bungie plans to replace the old power level system of the loot shooter with something more universal:
The power level is to be removed and everything will switch to a large artifact level. Leveling up will then be achieved by completing activities and no longer by quests.
If this is true, it could change the entire structure of progression in Destiny 2 with the release of the new Lightfall DLC.
The loot shooter has already reached a “sweet spot” where the gameplay is hard but not brutally restrictive. On reddit, some players have even suggested implementing this small power level adjustment in the strike playlist as noted by the player Gandarii.
I hope that Bungie listens to the positive feedback on the “Season of the Seraph” playlist and not only makes the -5 power levels a fixed part of the seasonal playlists, but also experiments with -10 and perhaps -20 in various activities. -10 could be a good option for a more challenging strike playlist, while -20 could be something to consider for exotic missions or mastering lost sectors.
Ultimately, we could reach a point where power levels could be completely removed from the game and we would only have 6 different difficulty levels (0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25).

At the Game Awards 2022, the release of the upcoming Diablo 4 was officially announced. Accompanying this, there is an interview with the developers. There, 3 employees revealed how long it will take to reach level 100 – and what you can do until then.

How much MMORPG is really in it? It is listed as an MMO on Steam. The game world is divided into your home island, a guild island, open islands, and cities. In the cities, you will meet other players. Here you can exchange information and trade. There is also an auction house.

With WoW: Dragonflight, Blizzard has completely revamped the professions after a long time. Each profession now has its own talent tree, where you advance with profession knowledge. You can obtain this knowledge from various sources, including treasures scattered all over the Dragon Isles.
What are these treasures? You can find treasures all over the Dragon Isles in the open world. When you open them, you receive 3 profession knowledge for a specific crafting profession. No treasures for gathering professions are known at this time.
The treasures give you 3 profession knowledge regardless of your character level, but you must have at least a skill of 25 in the corresponding profession. Otherwise, you may not be able to see or loot the treasures.
If you have reached a skill of at least 25 in a crafting profession, the treasures for that profession will always be visible to you. If you cannot find the treasure despite an intensive search, it may be that another player got to it before you.
Can the treasures be farmed repeatedly? No, unfortunately not. You can only loot the treasures once per character. However, if multiple characters of yours have the same profession, you can also loot treasures that you have already looted with your main characters with your twinks.

Still, there is no trace of Pokémon GO Kecleon to be found. However, a new find by a data miner suggests that this could change soon.
This Pokémon is about: With the chameleon monster Kecleon, it’s an endless story. It is the last monster from the Hoenn region that still has not appeared in Pokémon GO – and the first monsters of the 3rd generation were introduced back in 2017.
However, Kecleon is still not to be found in Pokémon GO. While this fits its ability from the main games to camouflage and be almost invisible – trainers still wish to finally complete their Hoenn Pokédex. But Niantic is taking its time with the release and stated last year that they want to come up with something special for the Kecleon release.
Recently, the Hoenn tour for Pokémon GO was announced, which the community sees as a good possible release time for Kecleon. Additionally, the “PokeMiners” data miners have now found new clues that seem to point to Kecleon.
Data miners find new clues about camouflage Pokémon
This is what data miners have found: In a new update, the “Pokeminers” not only show hints of a potential new winter map in Pokémon GO, but also various designations revolving around a “Camo Pokémon” – hence a “camouflage Pokémon” (via pokeminers.com).
Moreover, a new encounter is said to have been added where the Pokémon becomes invisible. This is called “Transparent Encounter” and is supposed to involve the relevant Pokémon being visible first, then disappearing and only becoming visible when it attacks.
However, whether it is actually about Kecleon – and whether it will land in the game soon – remains to be seen.
After all, data mining involves leaks, not official information. Whether and when the data will be used in this form is open. At the same time, leaks from the Pokeminers have often provided a fairly reliable outlook on what could be coming to Pokémon GO in the future.

The famous German Twitch streamer Marcel “MontanaBlack” Eris held the live show Get Away! on the streaming channel Joyn. His guests had to face challenges in a prison and fight for victory in the final. Knossi was able to win the event, but a finalist suffered a serious injury.

What did the challenges look like? To determine the 3 finalists, the influencers went through 5 challenges. All with a prison theme:
1. Challenge: Escape from a prison cell
2. Challenge: All had to open locks together
3. Challenge: Seek and find – employee IDs in the cafeteria
4. Challenge: Getting through the sewer to the washroom
5. Challenge: Rappelling down from a window with bed sheets
For the win, the tasks had to be completed as quickly as possible, but there were also time penalties for poor performance. The best 3 had to face the “ultimate MontanaBlack challenge” at the end.
Who won the event? In the final, Knossi, UnsympathischTV, and Kayla Shyx faced off. The final task was called “Wall of Pain” – the participants had to dig through a wall that was completely filled with sand.
Knossi was able to win the last game and stood as the winner at the end of the show.

Sony had thoroughly revised its subscription model PS Plus in June 2022. Instead of PS Plus and PS Now, there is now only PS Plus, which is offered in three tiers:
PS Plus Essential corresponds to the old subscription model, unlocks multiplayer modes, and includes 3 games at no additional cost per month.
PS Plus Extra additionally offers access to about 400 games that you can play on PS4 and PS5. Besides the subscription, you don’t have to pay anything extra.
With PS Plus Premium, you also get access to classics from Sony. Additionally, you can stream both the classics and the entire PS4 library.
For many players, the new subscription represents a meaningful innovation on PS4 and PS5. However, there are still ways Sony could further improve PS Plus and make it more accessible for players.

What is the problem? Those who subscribe to the most expensive subscription tier, PS Plus Premium, get access to what’s called the “Classics Catalog” from Sony. This is a collection of old games that were released for the PS1, PS2, PS3, and PSP. However, PS3 games can only be played via the cloud, which requires a fast internet connection.
What would be an improvement? Being able to install PS3 games directly on your own PS4 or PS5 would improve the situation for players who do not have a fast internet connection.
However, there could still be a problem: Emulation of PS3 titles requires a lot of power. And this could even overwhelm the PlayStation 5, as Digital Foundry notes in a video (via gamepro.de).
Free DLCs for PS Plus Subscribers
What is the problem? In both PS Plus Essential and the higher tiers, you have access to free games as long as you maintain an active subscription. However, the DLCs for the games are often not included, and you have to purchase them separately for the free game. This can add up significantly, as some “Season Passes” can cost as much as 30 euros.
What would be an improvement? Sony could offer the complete edition right away for certain games. This would make the Premium subscription more appealing to users interested in the games but unwilling to miss out on important DLCs.

Make PS Plus More Accessible
What is the problem? Every month, the game offerings of PS Plus are renewed, meaning: Some games are removed from the offering while new ones are added. In the Essential subscription, there are three free games every month that are swapped out the following month.
This is overall very confusing, as Sony indirectly points this out on the offers page of the shop, stating that the free games expire, or when games are about to disappear from the Extra or Premium subscription.
Subscribers have long been demanding more attention to the fact that games are disappearing from the subscription. Some players were surprised when the action RPG Greedfall disappeared from the subscription (via thegamer.com).
What would be an improvement? Sony could remind players that the free games of the month in the Essential subscription will soon expire.
Additionally, the notice that certain games will soon leave the PS Plus subscription, as was the case with Persona 5 from the PS Plus Collection, could be more strongly promoted by Sony on its consoles, as many players thereby miss good opportunities. This would also be a good service for players.

Improve Design on PS4
What is the problem? Hardware editor Chris Werian states on GamePro that the layout of PS Plus on PS4 is “terribly confusing” and would not be of much help. The tile for PS Plus does not remain in place like on PS5, but constantly shifts.
Each menu looks different on PS4, even though the same functions roughly lie behind the menus.
What would be an improvement? Sony could orient itself on the clearly designed menu of the PS5 on the PS4 and make the tile of PS Plus static in the menu. Then you wouldn’t have to search through the menu until you find the correct entry.

In an update, League of Legends released a new progression system in 2020. This is called “the Eternals,” which shows you special achievements and statistics for individual champions.
What are Eternals?
The Eternals show you special achievements that you can achieve with your champions. These are divided into different types.
What types of Eternals are there?
There are two types: – Common Eternals document general gameplay content such as kills or destroyed buildings. – Unique Eternals, on the other hand, have special achievements tailored to each champion. For example, with Lee Sin, you need to perform backward kicks (jump to an enemy and kick them back).
How do you get Eternals?
You can buy Eternals in various bundles. Some are available for the in-game currency Blue Essence, some for Riot Points, which you can buy for real money.
When do the Eternals appear?
The update was released with Patch 10.5 on March 4, 2020.
The article was last updated on November 28, 2022. With Patch 12.22, a new wave of Eternals was released, which you can unlock again.

What do Eternals cost? The Eternals were initially available in a starter release and in a first edition. You can purchase them either individually per champion or in a total package:
The starter pass is supposed to cost 2,500 blue essence or 225 RP per champion. The total package is available for 14,750 blue essence or 1,350 RP (about 10 euros).
The first edition will cost 600 RP per champion or 5,850 RP (about 45 euros) in the total package.
Additionally, there is the possibility to earn Eternal Capsules through ranked games. These contain shards that can unlock the starter edition of individual champions.
Meanwhile, a second edition has been released.

What do the editions contain? All editions contain three Eternals per champion, with the first edition guaranteeing three unique Eternals. However, this will be different for upcoming sets.
The starter edition always contains the three common Eternals:
Kills/Assists
Destroyed buildings
Killed epic monsters (Herald, Dragon, Baron)
What unique Eternals are there? The list of unique Eternals is long. Each champion currently has three of them. For example, as Vladimir, you need to:
Hit several (2+) enemy champions with “Transfusion” (Q).
Use “Blood Rushed” (QP) enhanced “Transfusions” (Q) against enemies.
Dodge skill shots with “Blood Pool” (W).

Milestones and Rewards
What rewards do Eternals bring? By completing achievements, you will earn milestones. These milestones come with various rewards:
Reaching 5 milestones will record personal bests. If you surpass one of those, it will be shared in-game with all players.
Reaching 15 milestones will upgrade your mastery emote for the first time. This emote will be expanded again with further achievements.
Your achievements will also be displayed on the start screen (as shown in the image above).
