A new secret in World of Warcraft is now accessible. We will tell you how to gain access to the old version of the Scarlet Monastery.
For several months now, Blizzard has been working on making old content from World of Warcraft accessible again, which otherwise has fallen victim to time. The old Scholomance, the old Naxxramas, and even Zul’Gurub are available again. Now the Scarlet Monastery has also made it back. We will tell you how to unlock the old Scarlet Monastery.
How do you unlock the Scarlet Monastery? Unlocking without outside help is only possible during the “Hallow’s End” event. You need to sign up for a fight against the Headless Horseman using the Dungeon Finder. From the daily reward chest, you can, with some luck, receive a “The Scarlet Key.” Your chances increase with the Hardmode.
With this key in your inventory, you now go to the Scarlet Monastery in Tirisfal. In the entrance area of the monastery, near the instance portals, you can now see a keyring on the wall that grants a quest.
Once you have completed the quest, you can choose whether you want to visit the old or the new Scarlet Monastery using this key.
When you enter the monastery, you can’t miss the keyring.
Can you unlock it after Hallow’s End? Yes, that is possible. However, you will be dependent on players who already have access to the old monastery. In the chest of Arcanist Doan in the old version, additional keys may be included. These can then be sold or given to other players.
If in doubt, just take a look at the auction house. It is likely that many keys are available there that you can get for a small amount of gold.
However, note that each account can only loot one additional key from Doan’s chest. You cannot “farm” the keys.
What does it bring? In the old versions of the monastery, there are a number of rewards that can no longer be found in the game. These are primarily unique transmogs that have been lost over time – especially with the revamp in “Cataclysm”.
Have you already unlocked the old Scarlet Monastery? Or are you selling the keys for gold?
In Pokémon GO you can now purchase the Timed Research “Eerie Echoes”. However, trainers have a lot of criticism about it. Before your purchase, check our overview.
What kind of research is this? Recently, Part 1 of the Halloween event started. Niantic offers 3 Timed Research tasks, two of which are free. The paid research is unlocked by a ticket for a purchase price of about 6 Euros and is called “Eerie Echoes”.
In the overview, we show you all tasks and rewards as well as the criticism from trainers.

The great bonus of the research is the Ghost Pose for your character in the game
Community’s Devastating Judgment
What do the players say? On Reddit and X (formerly Twitter), trainers comment on the tasks and rewards of the research that you can unlock for the price of 6 Euros.
On X, trainers have very clear words for it. The comments range from “this could have really been free” to “miserable”.
Also on Reddit, user Vmpunk19 asks: “So 5 dollars for an egg incubator, incense, and the new Pokémon?” and gets the answer “5 dollars for a pose, egg incubator, incense, and the new Pokémon. The poses normally cost 500 coins, so if you’re interested in the pose, it’s worth it. But I can’t imagine that many will be interested in it.”
In response to the comment from pokehedge97 “Wow, what a waste of money,” Stogoe states that he loves the avatar items and likes spending money on them. They are the “most valuable” things in the game because they are not limited-time consumables. “That’s 5 dollars for the pose,” he emphasizes.
How do you like the research and the pose? Will you buy the ticket for 6 € or is it not worth it for you? Please share your opinion here on MeinMMO in the comments.
In-ear headphones are small and handy, making them practical travel companions. But which ones are right for me? MeinMMO editor Benedikt Schlotmann has tested a total of 9 samples.
How was the list created? A few years ago, I switched from wired in-ear headphones to wireless models for practical reasons, especially living with two cats at home, wired in-ears never last long.
For personal and professional reasons, I have now acquired over a dozen of these small models. I have used the headphones for various purposes: while traveling to the city center, playing games on my phone, or listening to music in the evening. Or during the evening round of Division 2 with a few friends.
What criteria did I evaluate? I have evaluated all headphones using the same criteria to ensure comparability. I selected the following 4 criteria.
Ergonomics: How well do the headphones fit, and do they cause pain after a certain usage period?
Sound quality: How well do music, gaming, and more sound?
Accessories, scope: Is there an app? Are extra ear pads included?
Battery life: When do the devices need to return to the box for charging?
Ergonomics and sound are very subjective criteria since everyone perceives these things differently. If I find the ergonomics of headphones terrible, you might still discover your new favorite in them. Accessories and battery life are still technically measurable here.
Who tested them?
I now privately own over 20 gaming mice and have tested over 15 keyboards. Personally, I also now own over 10 sets of in-ear headphones. At MeinMMO, I have been testing hardware for our readers since 2019. Besides the PC and PS5, I also now use the Steam Deck.

HyperX Cloud Mix Buds: The loser squanders plenty of potential
On the positive side, there is at least good battery life and decent sound. But for an RRP of 150 euros, that’s simply not enough. At least the developers can still work on the software.
Overall, a lot of squandered potential. If HyperX can get the issues under control with its next iteration, we could expect good in-ears.
TurtleBeach Scout Air disappoints with cheap workmanship
The in-ears from TurtleBeach can only partially convince me, but perform better than the model from HyperX. The sound is really good, and the low latency is also commendable.
On the downside, however, there is poor ergonomics and very cheap workmanship. Overall, they resemble the product from HyperX, but without the same weak software. With a few adjustments, HyperX could therefore still displace TurtleBeach’s model.
Amazon Echo Buds, 2nd generation: Amazon’s in-ear is simply too expensive
Release: June 2022 | Price (RRP): 119.99 euros (wired charging) or 139.99 euros (wireless charging) | Compatible with: PC, Android, iOS | Focus: Entertainment
The Echo Buds are now already in their 2nd edition from Amazon. A lot has changed, but they still rank in my opinion at the third-to-last place.
The workmanship and haptics please me, and the Echo Buds also offer an IPX4 certification. The Echo Buds can be paired with Alexa; a reader pointed out to me that Bluetooth is also possible. Unfortunately, pairing with the app is quite cumbersome and costs nerves. The noise canceling is okay but does not quite match the competition.
The sound is also mixed in my ears; for the price of 120 euros, you can get significantly better alternatives.
JBL Quantum TWS are surprisingly flexible for the price
Release: Spring 2022 | Price (RRP): 149.99 euros | Compatible with: PC, Android, iOS, and PS5 | Focus: Gaming
However, my highlight is that the Quantum TWS can also be used effortlessly on the PS5, including noise canceling. This works surprisingly well, but cannot keep up with other devices. To mute a tram or a kindergarten group in everyday life, it is definitely sufficient.
Unfortunately, the battery life is rather short; I find that it runs out after about 4 hours. The built-in microphone can also be written off.
Sony Inzone Buds are great but offer absolutely no flexibility
Release: October 2023 | Price (RRP): 199.99 euros | Compatible with: PC, PS5, Nintendo Switch, partially also Android | Focus: Gaming
Sound-wise, you get an excellent product, and thanks to low latency, the in-ears are very well suited for gaming. On the PS5, you might not find a better product if you love in-ears.
But if you primarily want to listen to music or watch a series on the train, you will have to live with many limitations. Because you cannot connect the Inzone Buds via Bluetooth, and on the phone, there is (still) no really usable app. Other models from the competition are significantly more flexible. If it were only about gaming, I would rank the Inzone Buds much higher.
EPOS GTW 270 Hybrid – Great in-ears that will soon disappear
Release: January 2021 | Price (RRP): 119.99 euros (without dongle) or 149.99 euros (with dongle) | Compatible with: PC, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS | Focus: Gaming
The GTW 270 Hybrid from EPOS convinced me in everyday use and ranks in 4th place. The workmanship is fantastic and is only outdone by Sennheiser. The model makes a good impression sound-wise, the app is clear and offers enough equalizer options. Since an update, the microphone can now also be used with the dongle. In my test on MeinMMO, the EPOS GTW 270 Hybrid managed to convince me.
Also surprisingly good is the built-in microphone. However, the microphone can only somewhat filter out background noise. Therefore, you should not stand near railway tracks or a loud road when making a phone call.
The reason they do not come in 3rd place is a simple, tragic one: EPOS has withdrawn from the consumer market and will no longer produce headphones (via tools.eurolandir.com). Long-term, this product is likely to disappear from the market. However, for me, they remain a highly recommendable option if you can find them in stores.
You can find my top 3 among in-ears on the next page of the article.

What do you think about the midfield talents? Which ones will you get for your team? Let us know in the comments!
If you are more active in Ultimate Team than in career mode, then we have put together a strong Bundesliga starter squad for you:
In Diablo 4 has Season 2 brought new bosses to the world of Sanctuary. One of them is considered the hardest of the new update, yet three experts defeated him in just a few seconds. How they managed to do this and why the fight was worth it can be found here.
What kind of boss was that? This is the new boss from Season 2 “Duriel”. This devilish creature from another dimension attacks you with toxic strikes and can only be summoned in World Tier 4 with the right components. Despite the recently released Season 2, Rob2628 and his two colleagues wanted to know and summoned the grotesque being in the Eternal Realm.
Did you miss the trailer for Season 2? Then we have just the right video for you:

Diablo 4 presents new Season 2, coming this fall – Blood & Vampires
Experts defeat Duriel in 47 seconds
How did they defeat the boss? First, we must note that the boss kill took place in the Eternal Realm. In Season 2, the team could have recorded the video only later, as they needed to level up new heroes with strong gear.
Regarding their equipment, the team played as three with a Necromancer with Bone Spear build. In addition, there was a Sorceress with Firewall build and a Druid with a possible Storm Claw build, but we are not sure about that.
Here we have embedded the entire fight from Rob:

The Druid played the tank in the fight. He went into melee combat in his Werebear form and battered Duriel with his claws. The Sorceress, on the other hand, provided steady damage with her Fire Walls, and Rob supported from a distance with his Bone Spears.
The boss did not hold out long against these refined builds, as Duriel passed away after only about 47 seconds. After the kill, the players could inspect their loot, and it is definitely worth looking at.
Why was the fight worth it? Duriel and his lesser boss brothers, who have come with Season 2, are worthwhile for all players who want to refine their builds. For every player, at least 1 Unique item dropped, including Andariel’s Visage, one of the rarest Uber-Uniques.
Many players had complained about the drop rates of the individual uniques before and during Season 1. Players who completed several hundred Nightmare dungeons never received the uniques they wanted for their builds.
With the new bosses, the hope for the right items is partly a thing of the past, because depending on which boss you tackle and defeat, you get the chance to farm the uniques you are looking for. Uber-Uniques are also much closer to the players who are desperately searching for them.
In the new trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, you see how your lobby would look like in real life – at least if your squad just happens to consist of rappers, basketball players, and CoD icons.
What kind of trailer is this? Just under 3 weeks before the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Activision shows a CoD lobby in a new trailer that consists of cool people. The main character of the video is a young man named Carlos, who suddenly finds himself in the midst of the lively action.
The trailer titled “The Lobby” starts with Carlos activating a doorbell, after which a man asks him for his name. Carlos appears uncertain, takes off his hood, and breathes out. He rings the bell again and then states his gamer name: Killswitch.

Trailer for Call of Duty MW 3 shows a lobby in real life
A team of rappers, CoD icons, and NBA pros
Carlos enters a building, and the music starts simultaneously. You hear the song “Call me Revenge” by the rapper 21 Savage. Alongside the name “Killswitch,” the rank “Silver” and a KD of 0.9 are displayed. Carlos enters a lobby where various people are equipping their gear. In the background, a timer is ticking down. The match starts in under a minute.
In the lobby, people seem to be waiting for matches – including CoD operator Ghost and a zombie. Doors hint at familiar maps from MW2 like Favela and Rust. Conversations can be heard that players of Call of Duty will recognize. A man asks a woman what she thinks of his bright yellow outfit. She replies: “I think it says ‘I’m here!'”
I would be lying if I said the dialogue doesn’t sound familiar. And that’s even though I don’t own an extraordinary skin, like one from a rapper with pink hair.
NBA pro Devin Booker appears and asks Carlos where his squad is. Carlos looks around; everyone seems busy. Suddenly, CoD operator Valeria Garza calls out to him, grabs him by the collar, and says: “Today is your lucky day, Chiquito.”
Then Carlos – or rather “Killswitch” – stands before his new squad, which includes rapper 21 Savage and CoD operator Valeria Garza. Just before the group heads into the match on the map Highrise, the slogan “Every one of us has a soldier inside” is displayed in the trailer.
What does the trailer aim to show? According to Dot Esports, the trailer serves as a reminder of the iconic slogan. It emphasizes that anyone can be a soldier in Call of Duty, whether they’re a CoD player, a rapper, or an in-game character.
So, rappers 21 Savage and Central Cee, basketball player Devin Brooker, and well-known faces from Call of Duty like Ghost, Vladimir Makarov, and Valeria Garza make appearances in the 2-minute trailer.
The upcoming Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 brings back 16 maps from MW2 from 2009. Just that will certainly evoke nostalgic feelings among fans – as will another trailer for the game. There you get a glimpse of the multiplayer.
The trailer showcases shooter action, maps, operators, gadgets, and various weapons:
Players in Starfield are having way too much fun dropping tons of objects and cluttering their spaceships or even entire cities. A user has now shared a clip where he pushed his console to its limits with a lot of loot and a small explosion.
How did the player push his console to its limits? As the user “mrpickle123” explains on Reddit, he wanted to start a new playthrough and thus the “New Game+” after over 100 hours in Starfield.
Up to that point, the player had already amassed a decent supply of items. Moreover, he had collected tons of fire extinguishers during gameplay, intending to blow them up at the end – along with countless resources, weapons, equipment, and everything else he could find.
The collected items were then placed by “mrpickle123” on the floor of the lodge, making the Constellation headquarters look like a dump.
A clip attached shows the player standing in front of a huge pile of items, which visibly caused the FPS (frames per second) of the role-playing game to crash. According to the Reddit post, the player is active on the Xbox Series X.
You can see the user’s Reddit clip here:

Did the game crash? No. As the Reddit user reveals in his post, the game surprisingly did not crash despite the significant FPS drops.
When he threw the grenade in the clip and triggered an explosion among his items, the game briefly stuttered so much that it looked as if it would crash. But Starfield remained steadfast.

How does it continue after Starfield with The Elder Scrolls 6? – This is what GameStar Talk is discussing
How does the clip end? After Reddit user “mrpickle123” triggered an explosion with his grenade, he used a capability granted by the artifacts to let the items float almost weightlessly for a few seconds.
Then the player sprinted into the floating items, which shortly thereafter fell to the ground and were supposed to bury the player’s character. According to the Reddit user, the clip ends with the character’s death, buried under trash.
How does the community react? The Starfield community is primarily joking about the state of the console. In the comments of the post, users write, for example, that his console is on fire or would explode with more items.
Other users also point out to mrpickle that there is infinite storage in the player’s private space in the lodge and in the basement of the building. So he doesn’t have to throw all his items on the floor and can store them there instead.
But one thing has been clear in Starfield for some time: Players do not throw their items on the ground because they have no other way to store them. Starfield players clutter rooms or spaceships because they can:
In the first match of the Worlds 2023 in League of Legends, the American team Liquid faced the strong T1 from Korea. Since Team Liquid only placed third in America, expectations were correspondingly low. However, for long stretches, the US team played really strong and victory was even within reach.
Currently, the Swiss round is taking place at the Worlds. This is a new format that replaces the old group stage. Once a team has won three matches, it automatically advances to the knockout stage. However, teams with three losses are immediately eliminated from the tournament.
The special thing is that you always encounter teams that have the same standing as you do. Winners stay on top, losers go down, and those who are currently even will also meet teams that are also even.
The duel between Team Liquid and T1 was the first match ever played at the main event of the Worlds. T1 was the clear favorite, after all, they have Keria, the most talented supporter, and Faker, a true legend, on their team.
However, the match flow does not necessarily reflect that.
Start video
The Life of Faker – Why He is a Living Legend
Team Liquid secured Baron twice, led almost the entire time in kills
How did the match go? T1 got the first blood already at minute 3 with a gank in the top lane – but with consequences. The teleport from mid laner APA caused the two attackers in the top lane to lose their lives. At the same time, there was a gank in the bot lane that led to the death of Gummayusi, the AD carry of T1. The kill score was therefore 3:1 for Team Liquid.
Although T1 dominated the laning phase in the further course, the US team was able to surprise again and again in the team fights. By minute 20, it was still 8:5 in kills for Team Liquid, and the gold was nearly equal. Both teams could defeat the dragon exactly once.
However, Team Liquid took a big risk and attempted a Baron kill at minute 24. They managed to secure the monster and the corresponding buff, but they lost 4 players in the process. Suddenly, it looked like T1 could take over the match completely.
But Team Liquid pulled off a stroke of genius. They started with the Baron, then turned away to catch and kill Keria, who was slightly separated from his team. There followed a brilliant move from mid laner Pyosik on Lee Sin, who caught Faker and gave his team another kill. Oner followed as third.

Without the supporter, mid laner, and jungler, T1 could do nothing against the Baron. The US team was suddenly ahead in gold, dragons, and possessed the Baron buff.
Afterwards, however, the match dragged on a bit until the decisive team fight came at minute 35. Team Liquid forced the fight, but lost mid laner APA and AD carry Yeon early on. Without damage, the frontline could not achieve much.
T1 defeated 4 of the 5 players, and due to the high respawn times, they were able to finish the match in one blow.
Strong performances from APA and Pyosik sparked hopes
Why was the defeat so frustrating? If T1 had dominated from the beginning, many fans would probably not have been surprised. But the good performances from Team Liquid suddenly sparked hopes. Could they take down the legendary Korean team?
The jungler Pyosik, who became world champion with Team DRX in 2022, had a really strong day. Several kicks on Lee Sin resulted in kills that would otherwise not have been possible. Here you can watch such a clip:

It was the performance that many had hoped for when bringing a world champion to America – even if he was not considered the strongest in his position back in 2022.
How did the day go otherwise? Today, on October 19, matches will take place at the Worlds until 2 PM. The first small surprise occurred in the duel between Cloud9 and MAD Lions. The European team lost quite clearly there.
Otherwise, GenG and JDG prevailed against their competitors. Both teams are considered the favorites for the tournament victory.
While the Worlds 2023 are ongoing, you can read about a highlight from recent years here:
The midseason update in Destiny 2 brought not only planned changes to the game. It also included an unintentional blunder from Bungie that provided a glimpse into possible exotic buffs and could mean the return of one of the most popular hunter exotics.
So the unwanted leak was revealed: The Destiny 2 community recently witnessed an unexpected revelation when Bungie accidentally disclosed information about changes to some armor exotics.
What was initially dismissed as a mistake has now turned out to be an unexpected and officially confirmed gift for guardians as well as a promising outlook for the upcoming Season 23.
The involuntary revelation was revealed by Light.gg. The system tracks Bungie’s in-game data via their API and quickly detected the unannounced text adjustments.
Overall, six exotics are affected by the potential changes and buffs, four of which are exclusively for the hunter.
Thus, for the most agile class, the hunter, the “St4mp-F3R,” the “Galanor Shards,” the “Celestial Nighthawk,” and the “Mechanic Trick Sleeves” are being revised.
The warlock will see changes to their exotic “Karnstein Armlets.”
The titan can expect an adjustment to the “Synthoceps.”
MeinMMO provides you with an overview of the unintended leaks in this article and lists the now known changes of the six exotics.
There were also unexpected revelations in Season 22, as you can see in this video:

Destiny 2: Witch Queen Season creates the strongest Hive member there has ever been
“Nice and much-needed hunter buffs”
What exactly has leaked? The surprising information has already sparked plenty of discussion within the Destiny 2 community. Guardians are eager to find out how these changes will specifically affect gameplay. So far, everything exists only “on paper” and cannot be tried out in-game yet.
The hunters in Destiny 2 are particularly eager, as both the St4mp-F3R and the “Celestial Nighthawk” helmet will receive “a bit of love” with the changes.
These are the new descriptions of the six exotics:
St4mp-F3R (Hunter)
Increases sprint speed and slide distance, and also improves jump, directional jump, and triple jump. You take less damage from combatants while in the air.
St4mp-F3R (Hunter)
What will change with this? Important here is the term “combatants.” This would mean that the St4mp Buff only applies to PVE and therefore would not reverse the PVP nerf of this exotic. However, we have to wait and see. The portion of the text that stated you could only utilize enhanced speed, slide distance, and jumping if your dodge energy is full has been removed.
Galanor Shards (Hunter)
Throwing knife final blows reduce the cooldown of the super. Hits and final blows with Blade Barrage refund super energy after the super ends.
Galanor Shards (Hunter)
What will change with this? This has already made some players, such as ElizasAdventures, “hella happy”. These changes could lead to more frequent spamming of Blade Barrage, even though the basic recovery of super energy remains at 50%.
Celestial Nighthawk (Hunter)
Precision final blows reduce the cooldown of the super. Modifies Golden Gun to fire a high-damage single shot. Targets hit by the shot refund super energy and explode.
Celestial Nighthawk (Hunter)
What will change with this? Instead of melee kills, precise final blows will have to be executed from Season 23 onward to reduce the cooldown of the super. Fans of snipers will be pleased with this. However, it still won’t make this exotic into the ultimate boss killer from the old days. Its super energy recovery is limited as well – currently at 33%.
Mechanic Trick Sleeves (Hunter)
Increases in-air effectiveness, handling speed, and reload speed of the sidearm. If you are critically wounded and switch to a sidearm, it reloads and deals increased damage. While your effect is active, sidearm final blows reload the weapon and extend the effect’s duration.
Mechanic Trick Sleeves (Hunter)
What will change with this? Several exotic sidearms could become highly relevant soon. Because, if, for example, the buff timer of the exotic can be renewed indefinitely, then weapon exotics like “Devil’s Ruin,” “The Invader” and “Rat King” would be good options. This would make using this exotic sensible for the first time since the release of Destiny 2.
Synthoceps (Titan)
You receive increased melee and super damage as well as improved weapon handling and increased reload speed when surrounded.
Here it was announced that the additional melee reach was removed and, to compensate for that, weapon handling and reload speed improved when surrounded. Also, part of the nerf to glaive melee damage is being reversed. Hardcore PVE synthos users might be quite satisfied with that.
Karnstein Armlets (Warlock)
Melee final blows and finishers grant instant healing and restoration for a short time.
Karnstein Armlets (Warlock)
What will change with this? Recently, many warlock players have used this exotic in combination with glaives or for solo runs. If it turns out that it can be stacked with restoration starting from Season 23, it will likely see even more use among guardians in the future.
Bungie confirms the exotic leaks and promises more
So Bungie reacted to its own leak: Some players speculated that this information might have been leaked intentionally rather than accidentally, to obtain early feedback on it. Whether this is really the case can only be speculated.
Bungie itself has not commented on this but has confirmed the premature release. This announcement also pointed out that changes may occur during the course of development.
Some changes to the exotic armors coming in Season 23 were shown earlier than expected, and we would like to take a moment to clarify a few things:
What has been shown so far is not the full scope of the exotic armor and customization changes coming in the next season. The unintended preview is just a small part of the broader adjustments that are in the works for all classes, and we look forward to sharing them soon. Although the descriptions of some of the exotic armors have been updated, they will continue to function as they did with the 7.2.5 update until the start of Season 23. […]
The Destiny 2 community will thus eagerly await further information and prepare to experience and try out the potential exotic buffs themselves.
What do you think of the involuntary preview of the upcoming exotic adjustments? And which of these do you think has the greatest potential? Feel free to share it with us in the comments.
In EA FC 24 a new bug is causing a stir. The glitch, much to the dismay of the FIFA community, is not only unrealistic but also promises a guarantee of goals as it is practically undefendable.
What’s it about? Numerous videos circulating online show a glitch in EA FC 24 where the player gets the ball stuck between the lower leg, thigh, and knee pit. However, contrary to what is intended, the ball seems to stick to the leg and cannot be separated from the player.
On Reddit, a user uploaded a clip of this bug. In this case, it affected the FIFA professional “HASHTAG STOKES”.

How does the ball bug work? The clip shows player Fridolina Rolfö from FC Barcelona performing a so-called flick skill at the midpoint. The “Catch a Spin” shown here is one of many skill moves that can only be executed by players with the so-called Trickster playstyle.
The first part of the “Catch a Spin” involves pinning the ball between the calf, knee pit, and thigh before nudging it forward with a jerky motion.
However, if you interrupt the skill move during the first part of the execution at the right moment, the ball seemingly gets stuck in the knee pit. You can interrupt tricks, shots, passes, or crosses by pressing all 4 back R-buttons and L-buttons on the PlayStation or Xbox simultaneously.
Normally, the trick looks like this when properly executed, as shown in the following video:

Why is the skill move unstoppable? In the second part of the above-linked video, you can see the player with the glued ball running through the opposing team’s ranks. For the AI of the defending players, which always directs its defensive actions towards the ball, it seems impossible to deal with the unwanted bug.
Consequently, the tackling attempts of players trying to take the seemingly magnetized ball go empty. This, of course, gives the one exploiting this bug an enormous advantage.
This not only visibly annoys the FIFA pro in the video but also the Reddit community of EA FC 24. You can read the reactions to this new bug below.
How does the FIFA community react to the new OP bug? In the aforementioned subreddit where the video served as a hook, users agree that the bug must be removed from the game as soon as possible.
Top commentator “CuteCatMug” is surprised, especially that people can even discover such errors (via reddit.com).
User “OG-Builds” makes the following observation in their top response to the comment: “One posts this bug, and 90% of the comments ask how to do it. This community would rather exploit the bug than have fun with the game.” (via reddit.com)
In contrast, user “Sirop-d-arabe” argues that the only way to remove and fix bugs from the game is to exploit them first (via reddit.com). They somewhat take the bug abusers out of the firing line.
In light of the increasing occurrence of bugs in EA FC 24, “Horse-Dig” summarizes the game’s state as follows: “We’re playing an open beta that costs €110, right?” (via reddit.com)
So, there’s now a new bug again. How long it will stay in the game remains open. However, we will keep you updated if there’s anything new to report.
The fact that the prices for the mentioned players with Trickster playstyle have not skyrocketed shows us that the community can have fun with the game even without exploiting bugs.
Besides the aforementioned penalty bug, the career mode also ran a bit rough. There was an issue with coach dismissals.

In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, you can currently see which words are completely okay in English and which are strictly prohibited. To outsiders, it seems strange. The experienced former pro and content creator Doug “Censor” Martin insulted an opponent for minutes, only stopping at one word.
Who is the pro?
Doug “Censor” Martin was once a big name in Call of Duty: in 2011 he won a championship title at Blackops. Today he is still active for Boston Academy, but mainly he is now a YouTuber and Twitch streamer.
But now he has made a mistake for which he must apologize. He spoke to a player in a homophobic manner, but used the one homophobic word that you must not say in English.

Censor rants about a player accused of cheating
What did he do? In a live stream of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on October 16, Censor lost his composure. Live on Twitch, he lashed out severely at a player he has a problem with: The player Kodo was accused of cheating, and Censor had already clashed with him before.
Censor angrily berated Kodo: He told the player he was bad at the game, “sucks dicks,” and is a pussy. He behaved as if he knew “his shit,” but actually knows nothing.
Censor then asked who he follows, whether he is a “Brandon Dashy Dickrider.” Because that’s exactly what he sounds like. Dashy is a CoD player for Optic.
Censor could not control himself: He had no respect for the other, calling him a “bitch” and a “pussy” who should get lost. He told him to unfollow him on social media, “you little fucking fa**ot.”
The term is a derogatory label for homosexual men. In an article from npr.org from 2011, the word is described as “the new N-word,” and various cases are presented regarding the consequences of the word and why it carries such a negative connotation in English (via npr.org).
But at that moment, Censor reached a limit for himself: At the word that starts with “fa”, he interrupted himself immediately, made an alarm sound, and babbled awkwardly. He admitted he was an idiot.

Censor apologizes for the word – He does not stand for it
Here’s how it went on: After the stream, he apologized in a 2-minute video for using the “fa” word. That’s not something he stands for, and he doesn’t actively use the word.
He knows that the word is wrong and is disappointed in himself. He was embarrassed at that moment.
Using the word is simply wrong, and he does not want others to use it just because he does.

The entire language sounds homophobic – but at one word, the limit is reached
This seems so strange from our perspective: The case shows how absurd the boundaries of political correctness can be and that the limits are not comprehensible to outsiders.
The entire speech by Censor is permeated with words that somehow sound homophobic:
“Bitch” – is a derogatory term for women
“Dickrider” – literally translated as “dick rider” is someone who wants to please a popular thing or person
“Pussy” – is used here derogatorily as “softy”
“Suck dick” – is also a homophobic allusion to oral sex for a man
These are basically all words that are somehow homophobic in nature. All these words play with the idea of how “a real man” should behave and that deviations from that are wrong.
All these words are completely okay for Censor and apparently also for his viewers. They can all be used like that. None of it is criticized.
But precisely the “fa” word is such a forbidden word that there the limit is immediately reached and the streamer has to apologize for it for minutes. The word is only referred to as the “fa” word.
For non-native speakers who grew up in a different culture, it is hard to comprehend why other words that sound much harsher to our ears are okay, but this one is not.
The Ukrainian s1mple had a very similar problem: He frequently used a Russian word that was completely okay for him, but represented a worthy insult in the ears of Twitch:
Valve announced on October 13, 2023, that it intends to reverse the corresponding bans as soon as AMD delivers an update (via Twitter).
What about the rank loss? A user named “Gorrapytha” wrote in a post on Reddit that he also received a VAC ban because he used the “Anti-Lag+” feature of his AMD graphics card. He also adds that all his friends lost 10,000 Elo, which is points in the rank mode of CS2.
His friends are also said to have lost points when they played most of their matches solo – without the banned player. One of his friends, for example, fell from 14,000 points to 3,000 points, although Valve only deducted 10 of his 43 wins.
Start video
Counter-Strike 2: Valve once again impresses with the launch trailer
Why are players losing their points? Valve actively penalizes players who knowingly play with cheaters by deducting points.
Since Anti-Lag+ makes adjustments to the game code, players are punished like normal cheaters, and the same apparently applies to their teammates.
In a screenshot that the Reddit user “Gorrapytha” attached to his post and that likely comes from one of his teammates, it reads:
One or more members of your last parties were caught cheating and permanently banned from the official Counter-Strike servers. All their partners, including you, were penalized. Your Counter-Strike profile rank, your wins, skill groups, and your CS rating have been adjusted and may only be displayed after you win your next match.
What happens now? As the online magazine PC Gamer reports, AMD released a driver update on October 18, 2023, which disables “Anti-Lag+” in supported games such as Counter-Strike 2, so that no players are banned due to the feature anymore.
Valve has also announced that it plans to reverse the bans. Whether the players who lost rank points due to the imposed bans will regain their original rank is currently still unknown.
Diablo 4’s second season is well underway after some initial hiccups. A lot is going really well – among other things, the new season inundates you with loot and experience points – and almost entirely without grind.
This initially led to a lot of dissatisfaction among players, which, however, quickly faded with the actual launch. With Season 2, Diablo 4 is also available on Steam, including a version optimized for the Steam Deck. How the game is received there, we have summarized here for you: Diablo 4 is now on Steam and the first reviews are in

Diablo 4 presents new Season 2, coming this fall – Blood & Vampires
Fast loot without grind – what makes Season 2 of Diablo 4 different
How was the grind and looting so far? So far, the focus has been on leveling in the dungeons. Players had to visit dungeons relevant to their current level and replay them repeatedly.
Leveling up and unlocking new equipment became increasingly slow and labor-intensive, especially at higher levels. This made it difficult, among other things, to experiment with one’s class build.
What makes Season 2 different now? Season 2 of Diablo 4 allows you to level up faster overall. According to Blizzard, reaching level 100 is now approximately 40% faster. This is partly because monsters at level 50 and above now provide more experience points. Additionally, you can gain an advantage with XP-boost elixirs, and seasonal blessings can now stack. The campaign can also be skipped again.
New vampire attacks also bring some experience points: These occur hourly in a random overworld zone and can be tackled by all players together. They don’t provide as much experience as dungeons, but the amount is not insignificant.
Additionally, vampire attacks bring you new loot: armor and weapons, but especially currency for the vampire powers relevant to the season. With that, you can further develop and enhance your character.
The loot drop rates have also vastly improved, according to colleagues at PC Gamer, which is why they are having even more fun with the game now:
I have only spent a few hours in Season 2 so far and my necromancer is swimming in legendary items, vampire powers, and plenty of XP.

Praise from the Community
What does the community say? The new Crypto-Pokémon have made a positive impression on the community. In the Reddit thread addressing the announcement, the comment with the most points is: “Holy! Those are some powerful PvE Crypto-Pokémon”.
Additionally, user TheRealHankWolfman explains: “Crypto-Gengar and Crypto-Rameidon … they will hit very hard but also fall quickly. Probably good to deal a lot of damage early in the fight against a raid boss. Crypto-Skelabra could be quite good because it is not very vulnerable. Crypto-Rihornior and Stalobor should also be quite decent.”
Another user asks: “Is this the best PvE lineup since … well, ever?” and receives the response: “Yes. They practically took the best Pokémon from some of the most relevant types and made them Cryptos.”
In a speech to graduates, Bill Gates, co-founder of Microsoft, admitted that he used to be obsessed with long workdays. This also led to the toxic habit of monitoring his employees’ breaks by remembering their license plates.
Who is it about? Bill Gates is still considered an influential figure in the IT industry today, more than 15 years after his departure from Microsoft. Software products like the Windows operating system and Office applications are irrevocably associated with his name.
As CEO and head of the software company Microsoft, Gates was not free from questionable behavior when it came to collaboration. His peculiarities also affected his employees. Some time ago, Bill Gates gave a speech to graduates, warning them against taking the same path he did in earlier years.
Bill Gates – a boss with an obsessive tendency for long hours of work without breaks
Why did this confession from the Microsoft founder come about? Bill Gates spoke at the Northern Arizona University graduation ceremony for the class of 2023. He also talked about his own work behavior at the beginning of his career. He set high standards for himself and the employees of Microsoft.
For him, free weekends and vacations were unimaginable. He developed an unhealthy relationship with daily work. Breaks and rest periods were out of the question for him. He made his employees feel this as well. Driven by productivity, he created a stressful work environment.
How did his obsession manifest towards the workforce? He wanted to know which employees took breaks from their jobs. To do this, he remembered the license plates of their cars. This way, he kept track of when each person arrived and left work. He also demonstrated another obsession when playing Minesweeper.
Paul Allen, the other co-founder of Microsoft, also noticed this behavior. Constant pressure on colleagues and a fast work pace were characteristic of everyday life at Microsoft at that time. Gates maintained this attitude towards work for a long time.
Why did Gates change his mind? As he grew older, he eventually realized that breaks from work are not a sign of laziness. He deviated from the formerly high work intensity. As a father, he ultimately realized that time away from work leads to better work results. He now regrets his past behavior and strictly advises young people against it.
Is Bill Gates alone with this behavior? No, this work attitude is not a trait found only in the former CEO of Microsoft. Other well-known figures in the IT industry have exhibited similar behaviors. The late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs was known for his ambition and will to perfection. He also made the staff at Apple feel this. A former employee was fired by him 5 times.
In today’s world, entrepreneur and billionaire Elon Musk is known for his questionable employee motivation methods. Through his actions at X, formerly Twitter, he alienated many colleagues who worked from home. He insisted that the entire staff return to the office. Those who didn’t like it were encouraged to leave the company.
While playing together with her partner, the voice actress of Shadowheart from Baldur’s Gate 3 doesn’t everything go as planned. Her partner finds someone better.
In Baldur’s Gate 3, there are some sex scenes. These are not only part of the romances in the game, but also sometimes lead to awkward moments for the players – especially when playing in co-op mode and others can “watch” during these scenes.
It’s even funnier to watch couples who have also worked on the game – like the voice actress of Shadowheart (Jennifer English) and her partner (Aliona Baranova), who worked as a Performance Director for the game.
The two are currently spending their time playing Baldur’s Gate 3 together and streaming their progress. And that leads to particularly amusing scenes at times.
Start video
Baldur’s Gate 3 is coming to PS5 – Trailer prepares for console release
Sex scene causes shocked faces: To Jennifer English’s shock, her partner has not chosen a romance with Shadowheart but has instead gone after the Gith’yanki Lae’zel.
Lae’zel, however, is not discreet when it comes to bedroom stories. She is very dominant, and Baranova’s character has no choice but to submit.
This leads to shocked and fascinated faces from both, who can only stare at what is happening on screen – and this is already the stream-friendly “softened” version, where appropriate body areas are covered with leaves.
You can see the exact scene starting at minute 35 in this stream:

It’s particularly uncomfortable for both of them, as they saw the voice actress of Lae’zel (Devora Wilde) on the same day. This makes the scene just a little stranger.
What’s behind it? Although the voice actors behind Baldur’s Gate 3 get along well, there is something like a “played enmity” when the actresses of Shadowheart and Lae’zel are in front of the camera. This often reflects the discussions in the community about who the “Best Girl” in Baldur’s Gate 3 is.
The streams of Jennifer English and her partner Aliona Baranova are quite entertaining and worth a look not only for fans of Baldur’s Gate 3. One can experience an almost childlike fascination for video games – which only gets better because the players know all the voices as real people. Anyone looking for some “feel-good” entertainment and proficient in English can have a good time in the stream.
RoboCop is a science fiction movie from 1987. The main role is played by a cyborg police officer who ensures law and order on the streets. There have been several video game adaptations of the series, but with RoboCop: Rogue City, the best yet could follow.
What is RoboCop: Rogue City?
We play a cop who is half human, half machine, and ensures justice on the streets of Detroit
The story is set between RoboCop 2 and RoboCop 3
Original actor Peter Weller lends his voice to the cyber cop
In the first-person shooter, we can use 20 different weapons to blow criminals’ heads off
Our police work includes maintaining public order
The title will be released on November 2, 2023, for PC via Steam, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5
One of the features of RoboCop: Rogue City is that we can solve tasks according to our own sense of justice. Depending on which options we choose, the outcome of a mission can vary or determine the well-being of citizens.
A major plus is said to be the game’s visuals (via polygon.com). The settings are said to be nearly identically replicated and many NPCs look great. This is said to perfectly capture the look and feel of RoboCop.
You can watch how beautiful RoboCop: Rogue City actually looks in the following trailer:
Start video
RoboCop: Rogue City Trailer
Features in RoboCop: Rogue City remind of Fallout
What features are there? The team at Polygon also writes that the game reminds them of Fallout in some aspects. For example, there is a feature that allows us to interrogate NPCs. We can choose whether to pressure citizens for information or even threaten them with penalties if they do not cooperate.
Additionally, there is a skill tree through which we can further enhance our cybernetic abilities. This includes, among others, the following abilities:
Slow-motion view
Shockwave that can kill or stun opponents
Dash punch
Psychological influence that can strengthen NPCs’ trust in RoboCop
The system is somewhat reminiscent of the SPECIAL system from the Fallout series, where players can invest points into different aspects of their personality as they level up.
Polygon has already been able to play the game for several hours and is looking forward to experiencing the full campaign of 20 to 30 hours. This title could possibly be the best in the series so far.
Why could this be the best RoboCop? All titles released so far in the RoboCop series have not exactly impressed with their quality. The best-rated game of the series has a score of 62 points on Metacritic.
Another game from 2003 can even only muster a score of 30 points. Thus, the bar for RoboCop: Rogue City is not set very high, and it could be that this title secures the first place of the best games in the series.
Kenneth Doherty won the cosplay contest at the Halo World Cup 2023 with a Halo cosplay. He impresses the internet with his Jorge suit, standing at 2.10 meters tall.
Here was the competition:
The Halo World Championship 2023 took place in Seattle, Washington, from October 13 to 15.
What do we know about his costume? Internet journalist Jake Lucky said, “this guy” (without naming Doherty) built his own Halo SPARTAN. The suit weighs 25 kilograms and makes him appear taller than 2.13 meters. The man worked on this suit for 14 months.
A video from Lucky featuring Jorge in costume went viral and reached 1.7 million views.
Doherty himself, who has almost no reach on Twitter, says he is about 2.10 meters tall in the suit – slightly shorter than what Lucky claimed.

Nowadays, cult directors like Martin Scorsese complain about the uncreative Hollywood, which consists only of franchises. But this was already a topic over ten years ago. The same goes for James Cameron.
In a Spiegel interview from 2011 with James Cameron, he spoke about Hollywood’s problem of bringing new and creative films to the screen. Back then, a film about which he had nothing good to say was Battleship.
When thinking about movies like Cocaine Bear or Barbie today, one might wonder how such ideas come about, then they have forgotten about Battleship. The film is based on the Battleship game. The film starred people like Liam Neeson, Alexander Skarsgård, and also Rihanna. With 41 points on Metacritic, the film was not a qualitative success.
For James Cameron, this film was a good example of the crisis that resembles today’s discourse with the MCU and an uncreative Hollywood.
Here you can see the trailer for Battleship:

Battleship – Trailer for the film adaptation of Battleship
We have a story crisis
Similar to Martin Scorsese, who also likes to speak out against the MCU and franchises, Cameron also negatively commented on the state of Hollywood back then. He spoke about a story crisis and how Hollywood only consists of making sequels out of something already successful.
This also fits into the current discourse about the MCU franchise or so-called legacy sequels like recently The Exorcist – Believer, Halloween Ends, or Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, which try to attract audiences with old characters and familiar faces.
Back then, Cameron was still promoting the first Avatar film, which had no source material and built a world and story from scratch. However, now one can also call this a franchise that will soon even get a game:
If you look at the cinema today, it seems that not much has changed in the Hollywood landscape. Something is successful and is supposed to become a franchise. A current example would be Barbie.
What do you think of Cameron’s opinion and the current situation in cinema? Let us know in the comments.
James Cameron also did not start as a great director and had to come out of a low point:
A survey on player behavior shows strong differences in how members of “Gen Z” (11-26) behave compared to Baby Boomers (59-77). Especially in the use of consoles, Twitch, or social media platforms like Instagram, behavior changes significantly. MeinMMO examines the differences.
What kind of survey is this? The company “tinuiti” surveyed 1,000 players who play daily or weekly and analyzed the results. We requested and evaluated the survey results at MeinMMO. The work of the site seems aimed at companies wanting to know how to best spend their advertising budget to reach the most gamers.
The survey from the company primarily distinguishes by age:
“Baby Boomers” are currently between 59 and 77 years old.
Members of Gen X are between 43 and 58 years old.
Gen Y, the so-called Millennials, includes people between 27 and 42.
The Gen Z consists of people who are between 11 and 26 years old in 2023.
Those younger than 11 belong to “Gen A”, but they are not relevant to the survey.
In the course of the article, we primarily compare the answers of Baby Boomers (59-77) with those of Gen Z (11-26).
What does “Okay, Boomer” mean? The phrase “Okay, Boomer” is usually not directed at 60-year-olds but at anyone who, in the eyes of those who consider themselves cool, does not understand and cannot comprehend every nuance of a current trend.
DrDisrespect is 41 years old, he technically belongs to “Gen Y”, but he is more often seen as a Boomer because he is significantly older than most other streamers:
Start video
DrDisrespect was a celebrity on Twitch – His ban remains a big mystery to this day
Younger players also use gaming for social contacts – Older ones, not at all
Where do we see a significant difference? Some members of Gen Z deliberately use gaming to meet new people (8%) and to stay in touch with friends (12%).
Baby Boomers hardly use gaming at all (only 3% for both answers).
The most commonly cited reasons for playing for both age groups are “to relax” and “to be entertained”, with relaxation being dominant among older players.
Note: The embedded statistics are somewhat peculiar. You need to hover your cursor over the bars to see what they represent:
Mobile gaming dominates across all age groups – Older players have nothing to do with consoles
What is surprising in the survey: One might assume that older players primarily play on PC and, in fact, 57% of surveyed older players state that the PC is their favorite platform.
However, consoles like PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch are hardly used by older players; they, like all other age groups, increasingly play on their mobile phones or tablets.
Twitch, TikTok, and Instagram belong to the young
Where do we see another significant difference? Generally: Older players can make very little of streaming: Only 10% of Boomers watch Twitch at least once a week, while almost every second Millennial does. The enthusiasm for Twitch among Gen Z players is just a bit lower.
While 48% of Gen Z players and 44% of Millennials reported that they have bought a game based on a streamer’s recommendation, only 14% of Boomers say this.
The same picture emerges when asking players if they have attended an in-game event, like a concert in Fortnite: The younger, the higher the probability.
Where do players find information about games? The most important platform where players learn about new games is YouTube, followed by Facebook and gaming websites. Twitch and Steam play only a minor role in the search for new games.
For older players, Facebook is significantly more important than for younger ones. This confirms Facebook’s reputation as a “senior platform”: Younger players are apparently bothered by the fact that they should provide their real name there.
A significant difference is also seen with Instagram and TikTok, which are more platforms for younger people.
Why Facebook isn’t for him was explained by MontanaBlack, who often hears in the German area that he is “a senior”. However, he is only 35 years old:
