The latest hero of Overwatch, Sigma, is quite eerie. Some details about Sigma have surely gone unnoticed by you.
When Blizzard released the first trailer for the new Overwatch hero Sigma last night, there was a lot of praise right away. They managed to create an interesting character while also producing one of the eeriest trailers of the game. The creepiness mainly comes from the audio of the video.
Sigma speaks backwards: The trailer for Sigma is permeated by strange noises that sound like a distorted voice. This is almost correct – because time and again Sigma speaks backwards! At the very end of the video (or at the very beginning if reversed), he says: “Release me!” which means “Let me go!”. Throughout the video, you can hear him whispering softly, and he says: “Hold it together …” which can be interpreted as “Pull yourself together!”
Others also claim to hear “It’s in me!” and “Get it out!”, which means “It’s in me!” and “Get it out!”.
Sigma’s pen is pure science: In one part of the trailer, you see Sigma and four pens floating next to him. On Reddit, someone who seems to be knowledgeable in astrophysics noted something interesting: The pens form a structure known as an “Einstein Cross”. This shows the luminous center of a galaxy, whose light is shifted by gravity. This formation is nearly identical to the pens shown in the trailer.

This would mean that there is actually only one floating pen, which is displayed at different places due to gravity. This leads some fans to speculate that Sigma may have the ability to guide spheres on different paths.
Sigma had a teaser in Overwatch: Lastly, another exciting detail that players have now noticed. On the map “Lijiang Control Tower”, there is a hologram of a satellite visible. If you look closely, you can spot a warning signal and strange rotating energies around a round room. This seems to be the room from the trailer where Sigma conducted his experiment.
