The new Overwatch hero Brigitte is causing problems for many players and even the casters of the Overwatch League. It’s not about the character, but rather her name. Fortunately, her voice actress Matilda Smedius can help English-speaking players not to trip over their tongues.
Tuition for players: A problem that at least Germans and most Northern Europeans cannot relate to: Brigitte’s name. To us, it is simply pronounced. But especially players who only speak English have greater difficulties.

From the English version “Bridget” to constructions like “Brick-it-uh” to playful names like “Brrregante”, Brigitte has received many names. Her English voice actress is now giving lessons on how to pronounce Brigitte’s name correctly.
