Blizzard has published a lot of statistics about the open beta of Overwatch . The numbers are quite impressive.
9380 Years of Overwatch in One Week
In recent years, it has become popular to publish numerous statistics after the end of a beta, showing how much players have achieved in the respective game. Overwatch is no exception. Just before the release of Blizzard’s hero shooter, a comprehensive graphic has been created, impressively showing how much time players spent in the game during the open beta: The 9.7 million players have played a total of 4.9 billion minutes, which amounts to 9380 years.
Especially satisfying for newcomers: A total of 326 million Bastions were destroyed. However, it was also “High Noon” 5.7 million times a day – but logic doesn’t get you very far with McCree anyway.
