A Korean Overwatch pro had to deal with messages from a racist in his stream. His solution to the problem was as simple as it was funny.
What happened? Pro player Jong-ryeol “Saebyeolbe” Park is part of the Overwatch team “New York Excelsior” and is known in the scene for his joint streams with his wife.
In one of his private streams, the pro gamer had to confront a racist who bombarded him with insults and threats.

This is how the pro gamer blocked the messages: To hide the spam of racist comments, the streamer took his camera image, stretched it to the appropriate dimensions, and covered the messages with his own elongated face.
His Twitch chat exploded with laughter and memes:
Why did the racist spam work? Normally, there is a voice filter in Overwatch that prevents severe insults from actually being displayed. Jong-ryeol’s opponent had somehow managed to glitch through the system.
He repeatedly sent Jong-ryeol friend requests with racist comments and insults in the text, which were displayed at the top of the screen.
The pro gamer could not block these messages in the middle of the match, but his own solution was all the better for it.
