Overwatch has reached a new milestone. More than 25,000,000 players are engaged in the hero shooter.
The hero shooter from Blizzard, Overwatch, remains highly popular. In fact, the number of players has continued to grow over the past few months, as Blizzard has now announced via the official Overwatch Twitter channel that more than 25 million players are now roaming in the vision of our world’s future.
Now it would of course be interesting to have more detailed information about the number. Because which players are included in the 25,000,000 is not known. In any case, probably all versions – so players on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
As especially in Korea accounts are repeatedly banned for cheating and Overwatch is free to play – players pay for their time in internet cafes (PC Bangs) – it is quite possible that every newly registered account of a cheater also falls into the statistics.
Recently, more than 10,000 accounts were permanently banned in Korea.
