Sombra is the new highlight of Overwatch. But when will she come to the PTR?
The biggest announcement at BlizzCon 2016 was probably the reveal of Sombra for all Overwatch players. While visitors to Blizzard’s house fair were able to try out the playful lady in the stealth suit on site, fans at home still have to be patient. But when will Sombra finally come to the PTR?
Although some rumors are already circulating on the internet that Sombra is supposed to appear on November 8th, the only statement from Blizzard is that she will be available on the PTR “at the earliest next week.” However, November 8th would be a suitable date, as those are the typical Tuesday/Wednesday maintenance works when patches are also deployed.
However, there is still no concrete release date for Sombra in the live version. The developers want to ensure during the PTR phase that Sombra is really balanced so that there are no major issues at launch.
