The latest hero from Overwatch is now live. Sombra has entered the battlefield.
As already suspected, the latest patch 1.5 for Overwatch has gone live a few minutes ago and brought the long-awaited hero Sombra into the game. The new hero is considered a gifted hacker and has already driven entire corporations to ruin by repeatedly extracting important corporate secrets from them. Let’s take another quick look at her abilities.
- Her submachine gun deals moderate damage, can fire continuously for up to 3 seconds. Its effectiveness is stronger in close combat than at range.
- The Translocator can be thrown like a grenade and remains at the target location for 15 seconds. Activating the ability again teleports Sombra to the Translocator.
- The Thermoptic Camo grants Sombra absolute invisibility for 6 seconds. Damage taken or using abilities will reveal her again.
- With Hack, Sombra can hack enemy characters, turrets, and health packs. Hacked characters cannot use abilities, hacked turrets stop firing, and hacked health packs can only be picked up by her own team and respawn faster.
- The ultimate EMP hacks all enemies and devices in a large area around Sombra and disables shields and barriers.
- As a passive trait, she has Opportunist, which allows her to see all enemies through walls who have 50% or less of their maximum health points.
Other features include the 3vs3 and 1vs1 modes, as well as the weekly rewards in the arcade – all brawl modes can now be found here. In general, the arcade is expected to be improved and provided with new modes every few weeks.
