First images of Sombra and the Halloween event from Overwatch make you crave for more.
Slowly, the air in Overwatch is getting tight for the coveted Sombra, who has managed to keep herself out of the limelight. This time seems to be over, as a new leak ensures that we finally have a picture of the hacking lady (see title image).
But there are a few more pieces of information, even if none of them are really new. According to this, Sombra is “one of the best and most famous hackers” and she will “hack into the build [of the game] later on.” After drawing too much attention to herself, she disappeared underground and was later hired by the Talon organization (for which Widowmaker and Reaper also work).
Halloween with “Zomnics”
The second leak already reveals more detailed information about the Halloween event, which will probably start soon in Overwatch. As was the case during the Summer Games, the Halloween event will also come with a special game mode, which will likely be a team survival. The crazy “Dr. Junkenstein” (Junkrat) sends his “Zomnics” (Omnics that behave like zombies) against the players, and they must fend off wave after wave. In 3 different difficulty levels, they have to defend a castle (possibly Eichenwalde).
The title image of a supposed comic also reveals some new skins that are likely coming our way: Reaper as Headless Horseman with pumpkin, Junkrat as “Dr. Junkenstein”, Roadhog as Frankenstein’s Monster, and – the world has been waiting for this – Mercy as a Witch.
However, these pieces of information should be taken with caution – absolute certainty will only come when Blizzard confirms these details or releases the update.
Cortyn says: Okay, WoW will be put aside for a few weeks once the update comes. Just the title image of the comic and the (possible) image of Sombra have reignited my desire for the shooter. Quickly finish the 100 levels again to quickly grab several loot boxes at the start of the event…
