When does Season 3 of Overwatch end? When does Season 4 start?
For a long time, there were only hints – “End of February, after the event” it said. Since last night we have concrete dates for when Season 3 in Overwatch ends and when Season 4 begins:
Season 3 in Overwatch ends on February 22 at 1:00 AM – according to our time
Season 4 starts at 1:00 AM on March 1
So there is only a one-week break between the two seasons.
The Rewards of Season 3
The rewards for Season 3 include a special spray and a player icon. These will be automatically unlocked when players log in for the first time after Season 3 has ended – at least 10 placement matches must be completed for that.
If you reached the top 500 on your platform and in your region at any point during Season 3, you will also receive a player icon and an animated spray.

Additionally, you will receive Competitive Points based on your Skill Rating:
SR 1-1499 (Bronze): 100 CP
SR 1500-1999 (Silver): 200 CP
SR 2000-2499 (Gold): 400 CP
SR 2500-2999 (Platinum): 800 CP
SR 3000-3499 (Diamond): 1200 CP
SR 3500-3999 (Master): 2000 CP
SR 4000-5000 (Grandmaster): 3000 CP
Players need 3000 CP to treat themselves to the popular golden weapons for a hero. The best can get one each season, while the rest must save up for several seasons.
It may still be worth climbing to the next higher rank to earn a few extra Competitive Points and get a little closer to your golden weapon. Good luck and have fun!
