The first season of Overwatch is coming to an end. We reveal what rewards are available.
How many Competitive Points do you get?
For several weeks, Overwatch has been played in ranked mode, but the first season is already coming to an end. On August 17, the first season ends and the skill rating of all players will be reset.
At the end of the season, there are a whole bunch of rewards that players can earn. For this, two factors are particularly important.
- Have the placement matches been completed?
- What skill rating have you achieved?
Anyone who has completed at least the 10 placement matches will receive a spray logo and a player icon to showcase their participation in the first season.
Depending on the highest skill rating achieved during the season, there are also Competitive Points. These points can be used to unlock the golden weapon skins of various characters. The following number of Competitive Points is awarded for the corresponding skill rating:
| Highest Skill Rating | Competitive Points Awarded |
| 0-39 | 10 |
| 40-45 | 20 |
| 46-49 | 40 |
| 50-52 | 60 |
| 53-55 | 80 |
| 56-59 | 120 |
| 60-64 | 200 |
| 65+ | 300 |
Additionally, there is a special reward for all players who managed to reach the rank of the top 500 players during the season. In this case, there is also another display image and an animated spray logo.
The second season is scheduled to begin on September 6. Until then, Blizzard wants to make some changes. This date may be further postponed until the necessary patches have been applied.
