The blacksmith masters of “Man At Arms: Reforged” have recreated the sword of Overwatch‘s hero Genji and did a damn good job at it. Here is the video.
“Man At Arms: Reforged” consists of talented blacksmiths who recreate all sorts of weapons from movies, series, and video games. They have already forged replicas from Dark Souls, Bloodborne, and Kingdom Hearts.
After much begging and pleading from their fans, the master smiths have recreated Genji’s fearsome sword and shurikens. Of course, at the end of the video, they slice up fruits and bottles. One has to test their creation after all!
The blacksmiths believe that Genji is basically a modern Robocop. That’s why they decided to construct a traditional Mantetsu katana while using modern blacksmithing techniques. The dragon blade is made of steel, while the green shimmer comes from light that is inside Plexiglass. Cool!
