Due to an error, the release date of Blizzard’s Overwatch is already out.
Something went wrong again. For a short time, there was already a large advertisement banner for Overwatch, Blizzard’s hero shooter, on the US site IGN.
Spicy: The release date was visible in the image. It is supposed to be on May 24th. At the end of May, Overwatch will launch on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

A user from the NeoGaf forum captured the technical faux pas and published it immediately. The release date is now all over the world. However, it is not confirmed yet.
The advertisement also indicates that one can secure early access to the open beta by pre-ordering by April 29th. It starts on May 3rd. This offer is also not yet official.
It looks like Overwatch will be starting soon. Such “errors” that cause data to be released too early have been increasing lately. Blizzard itself revealed important information before Blizzcon when pre-order pages went live before the actual announcements and were found. Recently, IGN spoiled the Free2Play surprise of Guild Wars 2 with an early tweet.
