In the Overwatch League, serious allegations were made against a player of the Boston Uprising. He allegedly had virtual sexual contact with a girl who is 14 or 15 years old. Explicit pictures and messages were reportedly exchanged. The player has been suspended by his team.
The player Jonathan “DreamKazper” Sanchez (21) has been suspended indefinitely by his team Boston Uprising. In a statement, the team says: “We take all allegations in this regard very seriously, and that is why we have suspended DreamKazper.”
The Overwatch League also tweeted that they have been informed about the situation.
It is now said that the matter is being investigated.
DreamKazper is considered one of the best Western DPS players in the league.
What happened?
We currently only know one side of the story.
There is a public post from the girl. It is titled “The DreamKazper Situation.” The open letter begins with “I want to bring something to the public that I’ve kept to myself for too long. My name is Lily, I am 14 years old and in 9th grade.”
The post continues, stating that she has a Twitter account where she tweets about the Overwatch League to support her favorite team. Then one day, she was suddenly contacted by a 21-year-old who abused his position as a player to get her to send him nude pictures and spend Facetime with him.
The girl describes in her post that she was surprised as a fan that a professional player was interested in her. An initial friendship quickly became sexual and very intense.
She later realized that the relationship would not work due to the age difference and ended the relationship.
Later, she realized that he was also talking to other girls and had another girlfriend. For over a month, she then talked to friends, recognizing what had happened and decided to go public with the story.
She emphasizes that DreamKazper knew how old she is.

No statement has been made yet from DreamKazper. It remains to be seen what the league will find out in their investigations.
