The most kills in just one Play of the Game – 10 death blows in 10 seconds are quite rare in Overwatch!
Every week, absurd, exciting, or simply funny moments happen in Overwatch which are often captured in a “Play of the Game”. We have searched social media and picked three special highlights for you. Enjoy our three “Play of the Game” moments of the week in Overwatch!
If you are not actively standing on the payload, you hinder your own team and do not care about winning. Or do you? A Roadhog was scolded by his team to not “throw the game” and to fight with the rest of his allies on the payload. However, Roadhog is the secret star of the team, saving all his friends from certain doom. We call that “Map Awareness” of the next level!
We have often seen posts where a single ultimate takes out the entire opposing team – that is, 6 kills in quick succession. However, (still!) more kills are possible, thanks to Mercy’s resurrection. The player Khra shows on King’s Row how to immediately negate Mercy’s ultimate. After Zarya, Pharah, and Junkrat have taken out the opposing team, Mercy comes in and brings the frustrating resurrection with her. Unfortunately, Junkrat also has his ultimate ready. Three seconds later, the RIP-Tire is already rolling down the street …
Our last clip is a small trick that is definitely recommended for imitation to completely throw the opposing team off balance. On the map Oasis, Blitzet as Reinhardt demonstrates how to perfectly use the gravity and “slip mechanics” of the buildings to ambush the opponents. He uses his charge to storm over the pavilion from the jump pad and unexpectedly land behind the opponents. One or two ultimates later, the entire opposing team is safely in the respawn room.
