Every week, absurd, exciting, or just funny moments happen in Overwatch that are often captured in a “Play of the Game”. We have once again searched social media and picked out three special highlights for you. Enjoy our 3 “Play of the Game” moments of the week!
Our first entry comes from player FlyingPotato, who enjoys having a bit of fun with Sombra. On the map Eichenwalde, he discovers an opposing Pharah who feels a bit too secure in the air. This one gets hacked decisively and has trouble regaining altitude. But she manages to prolong her death – but Sombra shows no mercy.
Anyone who plays Roadhog knows the problem. Some heroes, like Tracer, are incredibly hard to catch with the hook. Either they shove you away, teleport, or dissolve into smoke. Player Fancyhog obviously played against too many Tracers that evening, as he was able to predict their teleportation precisely. “Cheers love, the cavalry is here” – not today, Tracer.
Sniper duels in Overwatch are either some of the most exciting or the most boring moments in the game – there is hardly anything in between. In a 3v3, rounds are usually decided quickly, but as quickly as in this case, it is unusual. Player SLM as Hanzo just comes out of the spawn room and climbs the first wall when the enemy Widowmaker swings up and prepares for the deadly headshot. But she probably won’t feel like a true winner.
