The best Overwatch moments of the week have been collected for you. A Mei deathtrap is back again.
Snoozing, Walling, Bomb detonation
In today’s edition of our “Play of the Game” (PotG) from Overwatch, we only have a single scene that truly acted as a “highlight” in a game. The other two scenes are “merely” quite entertaining.
We start with a Widowmaker whose Play of the Game is quite impressive. Although the situation looks bleak for their team, the player Mike_doG saves the day with 4 consecutive headshots. It will be hard for anyone to match that (even though some people will surely appear in the comments claiming to do it “every day”).
The second clip comes from Reddit user drizzlicious, who gets caught by a Reinhardt and falls off the edge. However, D.Va doesn’t seem to mind much and simply flies back. The pleading “dva no” from the opponent doesn’t help either.
The third video is the real highlight. Of course, the scene is staged and would hardly be replicable in a real match, but the idea behind it is still brilliant. A single player is lured by Ana to a specific position where she then puts him to sleep with a sleep dart. Just at that moment, 3 Mei players raise their ice walls around the sleeping player to imprison him. Shortly afterwards, a D.Va arrives with her mech and – you guessed it – triggers her self-destruction.
