Hours ago, Patch 2.08 for Overwatch was released on PS4 and Xbox One, reactivating a game mode and making changes to Orisa.
The new Patch 2.08 for Overwatch was released a few hours ago and is about 300 MB in size. The developers fixed bugs in this update for PS4 and Xbox One and made changes to the latest hero Orisa.
Players used a trick with Orisa that no longer works.

The Capture The Flag mode is back in the game (PS4)
- As the developers report, the Capture The Flag mode including maps is back in the game. Previously, there were issues that caused heroes to remain invisible in this mode, ruining the gaming experience.
Champion Changes
- Orisa – The developers originally planned for Orisa’s primary attack to slow her down – similar to D.Va. However, players found a trick in update 2.07 that prevented the slowing effect on Orisa. To do this, Orisa had to jump repeatedly while shooting to escape the slow. Since jumping did not negatively affect her aiming, players could easily exploit this trick.
- Blizzard has fixed this bug, and Orisa will now also be slowed when she jumps while shooting.
Bug Fixes
- PS4/XB1 – A bug that prevented background music from playing has been fixed. Apps like Spotify can now take over Overwatch’s background music, allowing you to listen to your favorite music in-game.
- PS4/XB1 – A bug that displayed the enhanced damage value incorrectly has been fixed.
- PS4/XB1 – Orisa’s movement speed is now slightly slowed when she shoots while in the air.
