The latest patch for Overwatch brings improvements for Junkrat and Widowmaker, but also modifies the healer Ana.
Season 2 of Overwatch is in full swing, and Blizzard is currently working on the next patch, which aims to fix some bugs and issues. At present, the patch is already on the official test server and can be freely tested there. The focus is on changes to three characters.
Less ultimates for Ana
Ana
- The ultimate Nanoboost now requires 20% more charge to be activated.
- The radius of the biotic grenade has been increased from 3 to 4 meters.
It is also noteworthy that all heroes now have a specific line when affected by Nanoboost, so both teams are acoustically warned who just received the boost.
Widowmaker
- The zoom animation has been accelerated from 0.5 to 0.3 seconds.
Junkrat
- The ultimate RIP-Tire is now activated faster.
Additionally, there are also several bug fixes. For example, there was a bug that allowed players to still be healed by the payload even while under the negative effect of Ana’s biotic grenade. There are also some changes to the achievements that displayed incorrect requirements (Symmetra’s “Car Wash” now only requires 6 lasers instead of 7) or could not be fulfilled correctly (4 kills with Junkrat’s RIP-Tire).
The public test server is only available for the PC version, but the changes will also be applied to PS4 and Xbox One at release.
