Overwatch has been expanded with a new map and numerous legendary skins. We have the details.
On March 8th, a new patch for Overwatch was released, which includes a whopping 4 GB. The contents of the update include a new map, small changes to the progression system, new skins, and an updated voiceover for the healer Mercy.
New Map Ilios

From now on, the heroes of Overwatch can also try their luck on the map Ilios to capture the three control points on the beautiful island. One might occasionally wonder why one cannot lounge on the beautiful beach chairs, as the surroundings resemble an idyllic vacation paradise.

Several other maps have also received updates, as health packs have been repositioned on many maps and the Temple of Anubis has undergone changes at the second control point: here, attackers now have more options.
Changes to the Overwatch Progression System
Some adjustments have also been made to the progression system and new skins have been added. All characters now have at least one emote that can be used in the game by default. Additionally, all heroes now have the emotes “Heroic”, “Cheer”, and “Taunt”, which can be unlocked through the system.
There are also 7 new legendary outfits for Bastion, McCree, Reinhardt, Lucio, Pharah, and Soldier 76, which can be purchased for 1000 credits or obtained directly from loot boxes.
New Voice for Mercy
There is a small change for fans of the healer Mercy. She now has a completely new voice actress in the English version of the game. According to Blizzard, this recasting was done because they always try to find voice actors who are proficient in both English and the native language of the respective character. This is exactly the case with the new voice. This also results in Mercy occasionally saying “Heroes never die!” during her ultimate.
