Blizzard’s first new franchise in 20 years, Overwatch, launches today. When will new heroes come?
Blizzard has already announced that there will be more heroes released for free after the “starter heroes”. In the meantime, there have already been rumors about the new heroine “Sombra.”
In a Japanese interview, Scott Merce, one of the key designers of Overwatch, has now revealed more information. Players probably won’t be able to expect the new heroes anytime soon. They are currently in the prototyping stage. Blizzard plans to add “some more” before the year ends.
The same applies to new maps: they plan to add some within a year after the launch.
