In Overwatch there are some unresolved questions. A series of “Mythbuster” videos now provide clarity and deliver exciting results.
Do 2 Lucios heal more than one? Can Torbjörn’s turrets consume medkits?
At first glance, most mechanics in Overwatch seem completely clear and understandable. However, if you think a little longer about certain abilities and effects, and how they might interact with each other in combination, then there are some interesting thought experiments. To spare players from constantly questioning whether a newly requested mech from D.Va can crush another player, the YouTube channel “DefendTheHouse” has taken on various myths surrounding Overwatch and rigorously tested them.
In the first episode, several intriguing questions are posed:
- Can Tracer “time travel” through a destroyed teleporter?
- Do 2 Lucios heal more than one?
- Do 2 Mercys heal more than one?
- Can Reinhardt move an exploding mech from D.Va?
- Can Torbjörn’s turrets pick up medkits?

The secret powers of D.Va
In the meantime, a second video has also been released, which also offers some exciting insights and shows a few tricks for advanced players. For example, D.Va is capable of simply blocking the arrow from Hanzo’s ultimate ability “Dragons”. Also amusing is D.Va’s ability to call in a new mech – if timed correctly, the arrival of the new mech can even damage and kill an enemy player. These and other mysteries are revealed in the second video.
