Lúcio is no longer the king of Capture the Flag of Overwatch. He now also has to follow rules and drops the flag more easily.
In Overwatch, the Chinese New Year is currently being celebrated. With the event “Lunar New Year” for the “Year of the Dog,” there were plenty of new contents. Especially the “Capture the Flag” mode is once again in the spotlight, as it has received some revisions and even its own map!
The most important change to the mode was that the flag is dropped by the carrier when they use a special movement ability. Winston cannot jump, Tracer cannot teleport.
However, one hero did not receive these restrictions: Lúcio. He was still able to use his Wall Ride with the flag. This allowed him not only to cross the map quickly but also to reach many places where most heroes could not follow.
But that is now over. Last night (13.02.2018), Blizzard deployed a small patch that ensured Lúcio drops the flag when starting a Wall Ride.
In addition, there are a number of bug fixes that only address minor issues that had little impact.
