The Overwatch fans see Easter eggs where there are none. Or is there something in the Junkenstein mode?
The current patch of Overwatch has not only brought some balance changes but also plenty of cosmetic rewards that can be snagged in the form of new loot boxes until November 1st. But there’s more: Temporarily, there is a PvE brawl where players as a team of four must fend off attacking Zomnics and some bosses to defend the castle.
As a small special feature in this brawl, players can shoot various crows, which disappear in a purple smoke cloud upon their death. However, this does not happen with all birds. Some “survive” apparently, leading fans to theorize that there might be an Easter egg or a secret regarding Sombra.
On Reddit, a user even claimed to have heard a sequence of strange sounds after shooting all the crows – due to the lack of proof videos (and because no one can reproduce it), this was dismissed by many.
Meanwhile, Blizzard has responded and clarified:
“The Overwatch team did not place any Easter eggs related to the crows in ‘Junkenstein’s Revenge.'”
This answer, however, did not satisfy the fans – as it could mean that there are other Easter eggs and possible details regarding Sombra in this mode.

Cortyn says: The theories are really getting out of hand. But as one user on Reddit put it so nicely? “Sombra must obviously be a stealth character; after all, I haven’t seen her in the current patch yet.” Sometimes, a bird that explodes in purple smoke is just a bird that explodes in purple smoke.
