Final sprint in the Nexus Challenge! A total of 20 loot boxes are waiting for Heroes of the Storm and Overwatch.
Currently, the “Nexus Challenge 2.0” is taking place in Heroes of the Storm. This is a cross-promotion between the two games Heroes of the Storm and Overwatch. Those who are persuaded to play a few rounds of HotS with friends will receive plenty of goodies in both Overwatch and Blizzard’s MOBA.
As of this morning (May 17, 2017), the last week of the event has started and therefore the largest of all rewards is accessible: 10 loot boxes each in Overwatch and Heroes of the Storm! This requires completing quest number 4.
By the way, the loot boxes in both games are “regular” loot boxes, not special event crates.
The last quest requires players – as in the previous tasks – to complete a total of 5 matches in Heroes of the Storm together with at least one friend from the friends list.
However, those who are just starting now will face a small “catch in the deal”. To complete the final mission, the previous quests must also be completed. This can still be done retroactively (i.e. now!). Those who have not played any HotS yet must therefore complete a total of 20 matches.
Those who are still undecided should not let too much time pass. The Nexus Challenge 2.0 only lasts until May 22 inclusive. After that, the quests will disappear and the rewards will not be accessible for the foreseeable future.
