The “Retribution” event of Overwatch is live. We are showing you all the new skins that can be obtained.
During the event, players will not receive ordinary loot boxes but ones with an “Archive” appearance. Included are all ordinary items as well as always guaranteed at least one item from the current event. In addition to spray logos, profile pictures, and voicelines, the highlights are of course the stylish new skins. We want to present these to you here.
A total of 8 new skins are waiting for players to be obtained in loot boxes this year.
Stylish skins for Moira, Reaper, and Sombra
Especially sought after is the new skin for Moira. She wears her Blackwatch outfit, with which she also takes on the new mission. Sombra and Doomfist get their “Talon” skin, which they likely wore in the service of the shady organization.
Slightly out of the ordinary are Winston, Lucio, and Mei. Lúcio appears with his shirtless appearance, while Mei seems to have become a fan girl of the Summer Games a bit late – in a cozy pajama outfit for the couch. Winston receives a new design as “Subject 28” – that is from the time at the Horizon moon base.
Reaper and Hanzo are having a duel to see who the coolest villain is. Hanzo as a nasty Mafia boss and Reaper in a new Blackwatch variant, which already contains some technical gadgets (presumably from Moira).
The “Retribution” event runs until April 30, 2018. So, those who want to obtain the skins have 3 weeks to earn the corresponding loot boxes or buy them with real money. Alternatively, the skins can also be purchased with credits. Skins from the previous year cost the regular price (a legendary skin costs 1,000 credits), while skins from this year cost triple the price (legendary = 3,000 credits).
