The Halloween event in Overwatch is live. We are showing you all the new skins that you can grab starting now.
In Blizzard’s hero shooter Overwatch, the scariest festival of the year is celebrated for the second time. The event “Overwatch Halloween Terror 2017” not only attracts with all the cosmetic items that were available last year, but also packs 50 new things into the loot boxes.
One of the biggest highlights is the skins. There are a total of 8 new skins in 2017, all of which have received the “legendary” classification. They are particularly rare in loot boxes. Those who do not want to wait for luck can also buy all the skins for credits. The new skins cost a proud 3,000 credits per skin, which makes it an expensive affair. Ana loves the classic look and dresses up as a genuine pirate bride, who has spent several years on the 7 seas. Particularly cool is the little parrot sitting on her shoulder with this skin.
McCree becomes a monster hunter and gets a skin that not only reminds of the cult figure Van Helsing, but even bears his name. A classic vampire hunter as described in the book.
Mei directly becomes an undead and walks as Jiangshi – a type of vampire-zombie that can only move by hopping.
Our edgelord Reaper tries to become a vampire and quickly turns into Dracula.
Symmetra has, if you believe the community, received the coolest skin. As a sexy-evil dragon lady with a particularly nasty weapon and wing dress, she probably has the most beautiful skin of the event.
Torbjörn finally gets the viking costume that was already seen in the comic last year. But the fans had to wait a long time for it!
Zarya on the other hand prefers bright colors and celebrates an 80s revival party. At least her costume doesn’t look particularly scary – however, her fashion sense is pure horror.
Lastly, there is Zenyatta, who, as a cultist, is devoted to Cthulhu or the Old Gods. Particularly cool about this skin: The ultimate animation now has tentacles. In addition, some voice lines are even replaced, which no longer talk about harmony and balance, but about chaos and despair.
