Overwatch is actually a game you need to buy to play. However, to celebrate the anniversary of the hero shooter, Blizzard is offering you a free weekend where Overwatch will be Free2Play. For 4 days, Overwatch will be available for free on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
Unfortunately, Overwatch is not a Free2Play game, and those who want to play it must first spend money. However, Blizzard is being generous for the upcoming one-year celebration of the game and allowing you to play Overwatch completely for free over a weekend.
