Not everything goes according to plan in Overwatch . Sometimes you fail in a really entertaining way.
Every week we present you three gameplay scenes where players achieve either very special successes or at least have a high entertainment value in Overwatch. Today we are taking a different approach and presenting you with 3 “fail moments” in Overwatch. Because not everything goes as planned – and sometimes not at all.
The first “highlight” of this kind comes from Godzillarich, who uses his Ultimate as Junkrat on the Temple of Anubis and sends two players to their doom. But when the camera swings back to his character, he is in for a surprise. No wonder the scene is called “Five nights at Overwatch” on Reddit.
The second scene shows a situation titled “Genji is the counter to Bastion… right?” and revolves exactly around that: the poor Genji just can’t manage to kill the corresponding Bastion because he is constantly being healed up by Mercy. While it looks amusing from the outside, it was probably pure stress for Genji – and unfortunately in vain.
In our last scene, Mercy also plays a significant role. Or rather a pushing one. The player “iTryLess” monitors the long corridor at the end of King’s Row and receives healing from Mercy – kind, one would think. But unfortunately, Mercy gets a bit too close to the Widowmaker and hands her over to the abyss.
