There are many annoying ways to die in Overwatch. This especially includes situations where you die without any fault of your own. For example, you sprint off the edge of the map with Reinhardt and facepalm during the fall. It is all the more surprising when the free fall is interrupted and you are challenged to a quick duel just before death.
Reinhardt vs Mei – A Cliffhanger?
On Reddit, the user NinjaDuck25 shared an interesting video. NinjaDuck25 played as Mei and was targeted by the opposing Reinhardt during a fight. When the Mei player was pushed off the map, he decided to delay his death with an Ice Wall. To the surprise of Reinhardt and Mei, there was still a showdown between the two characters just before death.
After landing, both players clearly showed confusion. Then the fight on the Ice Wall began. Mei quickly dealt with Reinhardt here and even transformed into a snowman in the end. A nice ending for a duel at the edge of the map.
