A short while ago, the second animated short video for Overwatch was released. The 6-minute film titled “Alive” showcases Widowmaker’s backstory and explains why she and Tracer have such a massive problem with each other.
In a world where omnics (robots) and humans live as equals, Widowmaker has a crucial mission. She has a very special target for assassination. However, the mission proves difficult, as Tracer coincidentally is on the scene. To see how it all plays out, you should watch it for yourself. We have the short film in German for you.
In any case, Blizzard has succeeded in generating excitement for over 6 minutes and breathing more life into the otherwise “cold” shooter world of Overwatch. A cinematic that is unparalleled.
