What happened in Overwatch 2? We already reported on October 10th about this nasty bug. Bastion, one of the many damage dealers in Overwatch 2, could overlook the entire map with rockets thanks to a glitch in his ultimate.
While the normal ultimate only allowed you to fire three rockets, players used this glitch to clean up on the battlefield. This was not only unfair, but also led to the hero being disabled.
Now players have been waiting for two weeks for their giant robot buddy, but so far he is still trapped in the vault. The Commercial Leader Jon Spector now knows when Bastion will be available for you again.

When will Bastion be back? John Spector, the Commercial Leader of Blizzard, has announced that on October 25th, Bastion will be repaired and ready for action.

After the video, it becomes clear why Blizzard decided to disable the giant robot. Players who exploited this bug gained a significant gameplay advantage and were able to dominate various modes. Entire squads caught in the advance had no chance and were riddled by aerial bombardment.
What else will be fixed? Not only will Bastion return on October 25th, but also the hero “Torbjorn” and the map “Junkertown”. With Torbjorn, his disappearance wasn’t as noticeable, as he was still playable in Quickplay. However, with Junkertown, graphical bugs meant that your battles were less enjoyable. According to Blizzard, all errors are to be resolved with the upcoming update.
