The community demands a 12vs12 mode in Overwatch – and Blizzard is listening.
With the new hero Orisa, the number of available characters in Overwatch increases to 24. Some fans on Reddit have taken this as an opportunity to suggest a new game mode to Blizzard: an oversized team deathmatch. On each side, 12 players would play, and each hero could only be selected once.
Blizzard has at least responded via their Twitter channel, stating that “that sounds fun,” which by itself is not a promise.
The last new game mode was Capture the Flag, which divided the community quite a bit. Some love this mode because the various abilities of the heroes create extremely cool moments, while others find it boring because it has turned into the “Bastion-Torbjörn-Symmetra” defense, often resulting in a tie.
