Anomaly is considered a value in Outriders that is rather weak in the endgame, especially at Challenge Rank 15. A YouTuber has now presented a build for the Pyromancer that proves the opposite and even works solo.
What can the Pyromancer do? This is the “Fire Mage” of Outriders. It is considered a support class and can keep enemy groups at bay and burn them with its fire skills.
At the same time, it has the reputation of being strong only in groups and has some disadvantages when playing solo. However, YouTuber Chadly99 shows that it can be done differently and has presented a build for the endgame that allows you to play the Pyromancer solo.
The build works without the ammunition skill, which was weakened in the latest patch of Outriders and is mainly based on properly heating up your enemies with Anomaly power. MeinMMO shows you what you need for it.
Because while you can constantly use your weapons, skills are subject to a cooldown and cannot be used continuously.
Pyromancer Build – Skill Tree, Abilities, Equipment
What kind of build is this? Chadly99 uses a combination of the subclasses Firestorm and Incinerator for the Pyromancer.
True to the motto of the class, the build is designed to burn as many enemies as possible. The perks significantly increase Anomaly damage, meaning that not only skills deal more damage, but burn damage increases as well.
According to Chadly99, the build is excellent for solo players and is also very useful in a group. Apparently, with this build, he is also able to complete expeditions alone at the highest challenge rank 15. With the build, he completed the mission Chem Plant in under 9 minutes.

These perks you need:
- Archmage (x3)
- Increases your Anomaly power by 6%

- Trial by Fire
- Enemies affected by burning take 15% more damage
- Magma Elemental
- Activating Ignition abilities increases your armor penetration by 45% and your resistance penetration by 45% for 10 seconds
The Skills of the Pyromancer Build

- Heat Wave: A wave of fire that deals damage and burns all affected enemies. Can also hit through walls.
- Eruption: A volcanic explosion that deals massive damage to enemies in a small radius. The explosion also leaves lava behind that deals extra damage over time.
- Living Bomb: A homing bomb that interrupts enemies, stops them for a while, deals damage over time, and also burns. If an enemy dies during this time, it explodes and deals damage in a large area.
This is how it is played: Heat Wave and Thermal Bomb can even be used through covers and walls. You only need to leave cover for the use of Eruption. Through the passive bonuses, you deal massive fire damage.
Weapons, Armor, Mods
As this is an endgame build, mostly legendary armor pieces and weapons are used here. Keep in mind that it can be difficult to create such a build.
These weapons used by the YouTuber: The main weapon of the build is the legendary shotgun “Deathshield”. It comes with the mod Fortress, which provides up to 43% bonus damage based on your armor. Additionally, Chadly99 has rolled the perk “Shadow Comet” onto the weapon via modification.
This mod allows a comet to rain down on your enemies and deals powerful damage. The secondary weapon is less important, but you should also have Shadow Comet on it. This way, you can constantly switch between the weapons and let a comet rain down each time.

These are the optimal armor pieces: Again, legendary equipment pieces are used here. Chadly99 uses three parts of the “Acari” set and two epic equipment pieces. This is how it looks:
- Acari Helmet
- Fire Tsunami: Your Heat Wave hits a larger area
- Ride The Wave: You can use Heat Wave one more time before the cooldown sets in.
- Acari Armor
- Power Assimilation: Your Anomaly power is increased for each elite enemy on the field by a certain amount.
- Acari Waist Ring
- Tidal Wave: You can use Heat Wave one more time before the cooldown sets in.
- Anomaly Echo: When you activate a skill, you gain a bonus to your weapon strength and Anomaly power for 15 seconds.
- Acari Set Bonus: Every enemy hit by Heat Wave gives you a 50% bonus to your Anomaly power for 10 seconds.
Use only the helmet, chest, and waist ring of the set. The gloves and shoes of the set are not suitable for the build. Therefore, he also relies on epic items for this build:
- Epic Gloves
- Fire Frenzy: You can use Living Bomb one more time before the cooldown sets in.
- Branded: Enemies affected by Living Bomb take 40% more damage.
- Epic Boots
- Burnt-Out: Enemies hit by Heat Wave suffer 25% more damage for 8 seconds.
- Damage Absorber: Increases armor and resistance by 10%
For the attributes, you should focus on Anomaly power, status power, and cooldown reduction. If you haven’t found any of these legendary equipment pieces yet, you can also look for epic equipment pieces that at least have similar modifications.
How the build is played, you can see in the video by Chadly99:
What other classes are there? Besides the Pyromancer, you can also choose from the following classes in Outriders:
- Technomancer
- Assassin
- Devastator
Each class can play various roles. The Technomancer, for example, is considered an all-rounder who can support but also deal substantial damage. The Assassin is a nimble assassin who manipulates space and time, slows down enemies, and takes them down in close combat.
The Devastator is regarded as a tank and can influence gravity. In doing so, it unleashes powerful attacks on foes with earthquakes and other strong abilities.
