The shooter Outriders gradually reveals the strong loot that you will receive in the game. Check out the sets and their status values here.
This is what Outriders shows: On its official Twitter account, Outriders has declared a “Legendary Armor Week” and is now publishing images of some legendary armor sets that you can later acquire as loot in the finished game.
Legendary gear is by the way the most powerful loot in the game. It offers unique attributes and stands out visually from other gear.
The images also directly show the details of the individual armor pieces:
- Which slot they occupy
- Defense
- Mods
- Various status values such as HP or Cool-Down-Reduction
- Their set bonus and how many pieces activate it
The sets consist of a total of 5 armor pieces, even if only 4 are visible in the images. This is due to Twitter’s restriction, which only allows 4 images per post.
However, you won’t just see the static images with a few numbers, but also videos showcasing the sets in action. Here is, for example, a comparison video of a set that reduces the cooldown of a skill by 90%.
You can immediately see that the cooldown on the right side resets extremely quickly and is almost immediately available again. The set bonus makes a huge difference.
This is how the loot will work: The drop chances of the legendary items are tied to the “World Tiers”. The higher the tier, the more likely a legendary drop. Also, the status values you see in the images are not final.
The strong legendary gear is not limited to a single armor slot. You can equip several of these gear pieces and combine the strongest weapons and armors without hesitation.
According to the Outriders Twitter account, besides the sets, there will be many more armors and surprises.
This is the status of Outriders: After several delays, the release date of Outriders is now set for April 1, 2021. The developers emphasized that this is really not a joke.
Before that, players will be able to try Outriders in a demo. On February 25, you will
- Be able to play the first hours of the shooter.
- Try out the 4 classes.
- And you will keep your progress if you purchase the full version of Outriders later.
