Since October 1st, pre-order customers have been able to explore the new MMORPG ArcheAge Unchained on the test server. As of today, October 9, 2019, all players can join.
What can you experience in the test? The focus of the test is on the special features of ArcheAge Unchained. The new MMORPG does not include Pay2Win and offers several Battle Passes that only provide cosmetic content in the paid version.
In addition, the content of Patch 6.0, titled “Revelation of Shadows,” is already available for testing. Included are:
- a new class specialization,
- Battle Royale at sea
- and a larger graphics update.

Everyone can test Unchained for free
How do I participate in the test? To test ArcheAge Unchained, you only need a Glyph account. You can create this for free on the official website.
Afterwards, you need to download the Glyph launcher and set the ArcheAge server to “Public Test” in the top right. Following that, you will need to download the game, which has about 80 gigabytes awaiting you.
How long will the test last? The test for ArcheAge Unchained runs until Sunday, October 13. So you have a few days to familiarize yourself with the new MMORPG for free.
Should I expect queues? Currently, many players are excited about ArcheAge Unchained. One reason for this is that many consider ArcheAge to be one of the best MMORPGs currently playable.
Accordingly, there have already been queues when pre-order customers could log in a few days ago. Now that everyone can test for free, this queue could become even longer.
However, there are currently two servers available for the test.
When is Unchained releasing? ArcheAge Unchained is set to release two days after the end of the test on Tuesday, October 15. Along with the new version, the patch 6.0 will be released, both for Unchained and the Free2Play version of ArcheAge.
