Actually, only PC players should be able to start with the new Warlords expansion in The Division 2 today. However, it seems that Warlords of New York can already be played on all platforms now that the new Title Update 8 is live. Some bugs like MIKE and ECHO are currently dampening the joy of many agents and causing problems. Not everyone can access the game.
Title Update 8 is here: The maintenance for The Division 2 has already been completed today, and the new Title Update 8 is live. The data for the new expansion Warlords of New York has also come into play and is already playable – much to the delight of many fans.
This is how the Warlords launch should actually proceed: Many PC players were looking forward to March 2. After all, it was planned that they could already start with Warlords of New York on 02.03., ahead of schedule – right after the maintenance and the release of TU8.
Players on PS4 and Xbox One were supposed to wait until 0:00 on March 3 before they could also head to New York on their respective platforms. Here are a few highlights from the extensive patch notes.
This is what players are currently happy about: But now agents on all platforms have reason to celebrate. The new expansion is already playable on all platforms – on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. So console players do not have to wait until tonight; they can start right away.
This is how you head to New York: Head to the helicopter. But not to the one on the elevated heli-pad in the courtyard, but to the one in front of the White House.
If you exit the main operations base through the central access to the south, go right and walk onto the lawn where your first major battle took place at the beginning of the game.
A new helicopter awaits you there, which will take you to the new open world of Lower Manhattan. By the way, the new mission “Keener-Search” is also marked for you on the map.
ECHO error after Warlords update – This is what some players are currently frustrated about: Many have already dived into the new content. The only thing currently dampening the joy of some players in The Division 2 are error codes like MIKE, DELTA, or increasingly ECHO.
And although the content is already live on all platforms, unfortunately due to these errors, not every agent can access the game or start in-game with the new content.
Massive is aware of the problem and is already working on a solution.
Are you currently plagued by problems too? Or are you already roaming in Lower Manhattan?
