The Pokémon GO Fest 2023 is approaching, but many details are still missing. However, a mysterious Pokémon seems to be clear now.
In Pokémon GO, the new season Hidden Gems
started in June. Part of this season will also be the GO Fest 2023, which takes place in August.
Some bonuses and contents of GO Fest 2023 are already known, but there are still big question marks about whether and which special event Pokémon will play a role at the event.
One of these question marks seems to be clarified: After several hints around the GO Fest and the current season had hinted at the mysterious Pokémon Diancie, Pokémon GO has now apparently prematurely revealed the monster on its own website.
The hint has since been deleted and was probably not available in all languages, but trainers shared a screenshot from the French website, where Diancie is announced for GO Fest 2023:
How strong is Diancie in Pokémon GO?

This is Diancie: Diancie is one of the Mysterious Pokémon, like Mew or Celebi. It belongs to the types Rock and Fairy and has existed since the sixth generation of games. In the story of Pokémon, it is considered a mutation of the monster Rocara, which is supposed to appear in the new season Hidden Gems
.
The special thing about Diancie: The Mysterious Pokémon can rely on a Mega Evolution. And even if the stats are not entirely certain yet: Overall, Mega-Diancie has the potential to become the best Rock attacker in the game. It would definitely be among the best attackers in Pokémon GO of this type.
Accordingly, Mega-Diancie should be an exciting release if it should appear at GO Fest.
Even in the season trailer, the GO Fest is already teased:
Is there more to come for GO Fest? How this year’s GO Fest will unfold is currently still completely open. So far, the dates of the global as well as the three live events on-site are known. It remains to be seen which contents will ultimately be available at the events.
However, trainers are keeping an eye on another event Pokémon besides Diancie: Because there are also interesting hints about Mega-Rayquaza.
