The indications that Lost Ark could also receive a Battle Pass in the West are intensifying. A new video may have accidentally leaked some concrete evidence of this.
What is the Battle Pass about? Almost every major Free2Play game nowadays has a Battle Pass, or at least something similar. Don’t confuse this with the Power Pass, which already exists in Lost Ark.
There are usually free or paid options, and through them, different in-game rewards are unlocked. Lost Ark already has such a Battle Pass in the Asian region, and recently there has been speculation about whether a release for the Western version is planned.
So far, there has been no confirmation or denial from the Amazon Studios. A new video from the Lost Ark developers seems to have accidentally provided evidence for this speculation.

What kind of video is this? The video actually revolves around the new season in Lost Ark. It mainly showcases the first competitive season of the Proving Grounds and classes that do not exist in the West yet. You can watch it here:
In the video, you can also clearly see labels for the Battle Pass for a brief moment in the menu.
Coincidentally, the video also discusses the rewards in the competitive PvP season. It is likely that the video is based on a developer build containing features that are yet to come.
During the showcased gameplay, an icon labeled “Ark Pass” is visible multiple times:
This sounds quite clear regarding a potential Battle Pass. However, it is not known how it will look here.
How does the Battle Pass of Lost Ark work in the Asian region? Here too, players need to complete tasks to increase their progress in the Pass. Notable rewards are given every five levels until the Pass reaches its maximum level of 30.
The tasks are mostly limited to things you would be doing anyway while actively playing the game, including:
- Complete a raid
- Finish a dungeon
- Kill seven bosses
There are three different versions available: A free, a premium, and a super premium variant. Whether these will be implemented here remains to be seen.
