In Fortnite, there are countless skins. However, those from the early days are considered particularly rare and valuable by fans, as only a few players own them. One of them is said to be making a return, even though the owners are not pleased about it.
Which skin is it? The Rogue Agent skin comes from the beginning of the hype around Fortnite, when Season 3 had just started. It was available back then along with 600 V-Bucks for €5.
Since June 11, 2018, the skin has not been available anymore and has become extremely rare after almost 8 years. Now the developers are planning the comeback of the skin, but not everyone is happy about it.

Comeback against the Fans
When is the skin supposed to return? According to the Fortnite news and leaks account @ShiinaBR on X.com, the developers are planning a comeback for the skin soon. Although it is still unclear how the skin will be obtained, it is expected to be back in the Fortnite store by June 9.
Then all players will have the opportunity to purchase this OG skin, which at the same time diminishes its status among fans. They are therefore not particularly excited about its return.
What do the fans think? The fans do not want the skin to return at all. They have an interest in keeping the skin as rare as possible, as it allows them to stand out from the many newer players.
This is especially evident in the comments on X.com, where fans clearly express their frustration about Fortnite’s decision:

For many, the skin is the expression of OG, representing the early days of Fortnite and, accordingly, prestigious. Its return could mean many sales for Epic but simultaneously devalue the skin.
That Fortnite is bringing back one of its important skins after almost 8 years is both a curse and a blessing for players. There is a new chance to buy the skin, but also annoyance among the owners, who feel like they are losing something rare.
