Destiny 2 has delivered strong PvE content with Witch Queen. But beyond that, especially the Crucible, the PvP, is a frequently played activity that promises players great prestige, especially if they manage to secure the titles “Unbroken” or “Flawless.” Bungie is now removing one of the two titles, so you have the last chance to secure it in Witch Queen.
Especially the PvP players have long been waiting in Destiny 2 for Bungie to finally refresh the content for the Crucible. Hardly any new content has been allocated to the mode.

- In Season 18, only one old map from Destiny 1 is also supposed to return.
- And the mode “Rift” was only briefly teased, but nothing further was revealed.
The PvP is the activity that adds spice to the game even after the PvE content is completed.
No wonder that the latest announcement in the current “This Week at Bungie” blog has given players hope that Bungie is finally taking the first steps to bring fresh air to its PvP arenas.
What has Bungie announced? For the release of Season 19, Bungie is planning adjustments on how players can earn Glory in the Crucible. Nothing concrete is known about this yet, but they still want to hint at the future direction.

Why is this announcement coming so early? Basically, Season 19 is still very far away, considering that Destiny 2 is currently in Season 16. However, there is a reason for this early announcement.
The title “Unbroken” requires, in addition to other requirements, that one must reach Legendary in the competitive playlist in three seasons. Only then is one truly “Unbroken,” which is why only about 6% of players (via bray.tech) have been able to earn it at all.
Those who are “Unbroken” have thus cracked the maximum limit of 5000 Glory points in at least three seasons and belong to the upper echelon of the Crucible.
Now or never: For all players who still want to obtain the “Unbroken” seal and thus the title, now is also the last time to start grinding. Once Season 19 begins, the triumphs will be removed from the game. The title can then only be equipped as a legacy title, but only if it has been earned by then.
Will the prestigious PvP title soon be easier? Especially since the current time investment for the “Unbroken” seal is so high, Bungie wants to revise it. No other title in Destiny 2 requires it to be earned over multiple seasons.
A new title will be available from Season 19: “Unbroken” is set to be replaced by a similarly challenging Crucible seal that can be achieved with less required time investment. However, this may also involve a significant loss of prestige for this PvP title.
Bungie also emphasized that they are aware of how much the PvP players are waiting for innovations in their favorite mode. They want to publish more details on changes before Season 17 starts.
One detail in TWaB was particularly striking: In the announcement, MeinMMO noted that Bungie emphasized the word “howl” in the original TWaB to refer to the future of PvP. And in Destiny 2, there is only one place where the wolves howl: the Iron Banner of Lord Saladin.
So it could well be that you can expect adjustments to the PvP event Iron Banner in the future. Especially since Lord Saladin is currently not fully available due to the current events, some players are wondering what will happen to this mode now.
