The majority of the strongest fighters in One Piece are male. There are only a few women who can compete with the men. However, some of them are so strong that they are by no means inferior to their male counterparts. MeinMMO lists the 5 strongest female fighters.
Attention, this reflects the current state from manga and anime. Therefore, some placements and bounties could be a spoiler for you.
What criteria were used to create this ranking? The following factors were taken into account when creating the list:
- It doesn’t matter which faction the lady belongs to. She can be a member of the Revolutionary Army, the World Government, or a pirate.
- For the female pirates, the height of the bounty was used as a measure of strength.
- The women have strong abilities, such as Devil Fruits.
- There must have already been a significant appearance of the person. Catarina Devon, for example, did not make it into the ranking because she was only seen briefly in the manga.

Rank 5: Black Maria

Black Maria is part of the “Flying Six” and thus one of the strongest members of Kaido’s pirate crew. She has eaten the Spider-Fruit, Model: Rosamygale Grauvogeli. This allows her to transform into a tarantula, a human, or a combination of both. As a spider being, she can cling to walls and produce spider webs that ensnare her opponents. In addition, her spider legs produce poison.
She is also quite skilled in close combat. In battle against Sanji, Brook, and Nico Robin, she uses multiple melee weapons to defend herself. Additionally, she masters Armament and Observation Haki. However, she loses to Nico Robin in a direct fight, which is why she ranks only fifth on this list.
Rank 4: Stussy

Stussy is actually not a human but the first successful clone of the scientific group MADS. She is based on Miss Buckingham Stussy, who was part of the legendary Rocks Pirates. No wonder she ranks among the strongest intelligence members of the World Government.
Stussy’s abilities resemble that of a vampire. She can grow wings on her back and suck the blood of her opponents. She can also put enemies to sleep. She possesses strong physical abilities, is agile, and masters Rokushiki Martial Arts. She is therefore a serious opponent.
Rank 3: Nico Robin

Nico Robin is the strongest woman in the Straw Hat crew. She has eaten the Flower-Flower Fruit, which allows her to sprout arms and legs. The abilities can be used in various ways, for example, as wings or transportation.
The Straw Hat pirate possesses not only physical but also intellectual strength. She is one of the few people who can decipher the ancient script. This dangerous ability has made her one of the most wanted pirates by the World Government.
