Anyone who eats a Devil Fruit in One Piece loses the ability to swim. This is common among all users. However, aside from that, the Devil Fruits can be categorized into three types, depending on the powers they grant.
The Logia Devil Fruits give the user the ability to transform into another element and control it. By transforming, they can evade physical attacks, unless their opponent possesses Armament Haki or uses Sea Stone.
MeinMMO reveals which are currently the strongest Logia-type Devil Fruits. We are basing our ranking on the status of Chapter 1164 of the Manga. We also only consider the Devil Fruits that have already been named and confirmed.

Rank 5: Ice Fruit

What can it do? Thanks to the Ice Fruit, the user can generate ice, control it, or transform into it. Kuzan uses the abilities to craft a permanent prosthetic, as he lost his leg in battle.
Additionally, other opponents can be frozen and rendered unable to fight. The victims are not killed directly, which proves useful in special situations such as kidnappings.
Why is it so strong? With this fruit, one can essentially eliminate the only weakness of Devil Fruit users: the sea. The Ice Fruit allows users to freeze the ocean over several kilometers. In this way, Kuzan can even ride a bike on the sea.
The battle at Punk Hazard also demonstrated how powerful the fruit’s power is. The Ice Fruit can freeze half of a complete island.
However, users of the Ice Fruit have the drawback that they can still be hit by physical attacks, as ice has a solid state of matter.
